Cannot connect wifi after updated ios7.1.2

After i updated to ios 7.1.2, i cannot connect wifi but another device can connect wifi normally.

Because...
a) Some people are earnestly trying to help.
b) Some people are clueless about this royal Apple iOS update screwup!
I am extremely ****** off... partly because one of the so-call 'genius' suggestions of "forgetting network" and reapplying degraded my phone from occasional WiFi loss to COMPLETE WiFi loss. Then I wasted two hours trying the other 'genius' suggestions like resetting the entire phone and network settings!
B.S.!
Apple still refuses to acknowledge this problem! What else is new?

Download the latest drivers for the Wireless network card that are applicable to Windows 8.1.
You can check with Acer on this.

I did. but it was not fixed. after updating, I can't connect wifi until I restore current system.

Try Settings App > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. See if better. If still problem, Restore iPhone with iTunes on your computer. See if better. If still problem, and if there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation or set up Service and take or send iPhone to Apple for resolution.

Dear Apple.
I was really happy with my iphone4s, IOS 6.0, great product amazing quality and posibilities BUT.......
I updated from IOS 6.0 to 6.1.1. and the WIFI nightmare started.
I waited for a new update to fix the WIFI problems and I updated my iphone 4s from 6.1.1. to 6.1.2. in order to solve these problems related with WIFI connections.
But IOS 6.1.2. is even worst:
- WIFI is not working at all. So I cannot download apps greater than 50MB.
- Battery life is shorter than ever.
- 3G goes in and out every minute.
- When you operate the iphone4s you can realize that is hotter than before.
These problems are unnaceptable and inconsistent with a high quality standard product.
You can read a lot of blogs, I am not the only one.
Please give us a solution as soon as possible.

I updated my iPhone 4s to iOS 6. I cannot connect to my wifi after updating to iOS 6. I updated while connected to iTunes. I can no longer connect to the wifi that I had previously used at that location. However, I can connect to all of the other wifi areas I had previously connected to ie. home, coffee shop, etc.
I have tried turning off cellular data.. Other than not being able to connect to my office wifi it appears that iOS 6 is working properly..

I have the same problem too and I have not been able to "fix" it. It is very frustrating! My other electronics connected to my wifi: pc, ipad, iphone 3G,and TV they all working fine. I went to the Apple store and they say this problem is ralated to my network provider, then when I went to AT&T they say it is Apples problem. Who do you believe?

My iphone 4s will not auto connect to my home wifi after updating to IOS 6.1.2. I can manually connect to my phone to wifi but it will get disconnect if I'mnot using the phone. Any way to reslove?

Once the phone goes into sleep mode, it is supposed to auto disconnect from wifi to save battery. Are you saying that once you wake the phone up it will not auto connect at that time?
Suggest you try and forget the network, then go in and try the reset network settings again and then try to rediscover the network and connect again. Have you tried to do a reset of the phone, but holding the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release?

it seems that itunes can't connect to the apple servers. This is usually caused by your firewall. Turn it off. If turning it off doesn't help or you don't have a firewall, goto this site:

I cannot 'Restore' iPhone 3G to pass on to my fiance, after she kindly allowed me to get a new iPhone4 because iTunes 'cannot connect to iphone update software server'. I have tried both our laptop and desktop - both connecting to the internet fine - but neither will connect to the iTunes store nor update servers!!
Not sure what to try next, have tried setting up new user to no avail.

Right, I'm going to try something, if this works, then this'll probably fix a lot of iTunes problems.
1: Make sure your whole iTunes database is backed up.
2: Uninstall iTunes, then run "Revo Uninstaller", this will remove ALL traces of iTunes from you computer, not your library.
I've found out that when un-installing or re-installing over a previous version of iTunes will carry over some problems from previous versions, or even create problems. Registry leftovers can be a problem also. Completely removing iTunes using "Revo Uninstaller" then re-installing will have the same effect as installing iTunes from a fresh OS install. Typically iTunes should be problem free when installed totally fresh.
3: Re-install the correct version of iTunes fresh and try again.

OSX 10.6.7 gets confused on access and connection rights after updateing device or program

On all our 4 Mac, all with Snow Leopard 10.6.7, I have an issue with storing access and network connection rights after updating programs and devices.
We have a Canon network printer. Everything worked fine, the necessary programs had the rights to accept incoming network connections. But then I reinstalled the printer on two Macs because of the PDF fonts problem with 10.6.7. But now, the system asks for every single document if incomming connection should be allowed, even if the according program is listed in the firewall as "allow". Deleting the program from the list in the firewall and add it newly did not help.
The same issue occures now with a selfwritten Applescript program. It access a key in the keychain. I told the system to allow access always, that worked in the beginning, but after updating the program, it does not store the program as allowed any more. I cannot even add it manually to the allowed list for the specific key. Means, I can select the program after clicking the plus, but the program simply not shows up in the list.
This happened on two Macs up to now, one is the same as the printer problem, but the other does not have the printer problem (up to now).
What to I have to do, that the program stores the given rights newly, also after updating a device or program?

reFX guys were very helpful and took remote connection to my desktop. It was 5 minutes and Nexus2 was up and running.
The thing was that my hard drive is case sensitive. They just renamed the file white_3_nsk to lower case in
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Nexus.component/Contents/Resources/. After that, everything is working.
Hopefully this helps someone in the future who has put fortune to Nexus2 and gets heart attack when it doesn't work.

I submit: 2g iPHONE firmware 1.1.1 . used wifi fine but now I get weird I.P. addresses , wrong i.p. address, cannot connect . I have connected fine before and can connect fine with other routers.
I have had to configure static i.p. in the past if a conflict with other devices but on DHCP normally. setting static i.p. doesnt help, still cannot connect.tried reset network... don't have weird apps like openssh or any wifi apps.
any ideas?

I never had a problem with WiFi on my original iPhone until I upgraded to 2.0.1. Then WiFi began to drop out, I would have to tweak a lot of settings to get a connection again and another problem surfaced: my phone started loosing time -- even though I have it configured to "set automatically." (Sometimes I would discover it was hours off). I updated to 2.0.2 as soon as it showed up in my iTunes because I assumed it would fix these problems. WRONG! Now my WiFi is totally broken and my phone is unable to sync with MobilMe. I've turned the "push" and "fetch" settings off and am syncing though iTunes.

This would seem to mimic the problems i am having with my car interface-
After updating to iOS7 I find that my iPhone 5 has connection issues with the audio system in my 2013 Mercedes ML350. When first plugged in the phone switches the audio system to the iPhone input and begins to play iTunes which it always did, however it resets the connection every ten seconds or so making the interface unusable. It also takes over the audio system so that when I switch to radio for example, which with iOS6 put the iTunes player in pause and switched to the radio, now the radio will play for a few seconds and then when the phone connection resets the phone takes control away from the radio.
Not sure if this is an iOS7 bug or if something in setup needs to be different. It is very annoying however and because the phone takes control I can no longer charge it in the car.
Basic phone functions all work through bluetooth and are fine.

Make sure you're updated to iOS 6.0.2, I know that has had something to do with Wi-Fi for a lot of people.
