Cannot copy from Mac formatted disks to PC Fat32 disks anymore!

HElp!
Since I upgraded to Snow Leopard 10.6, everything I copied from Mac disks to Fat disks always went well.
Few weeks later, I ran Disk Utility in 10.6.2 and "repaired" all my drives including my Fat disks.
At the end of the repair, it said everything was OK and the last sentence of the report said (which I do not remember exactly) said something like it did some changes and finishes that sentense with "...as required" (French OS says: "tel que requis")
That made me a little suspiscious but everything went fine so i did not pay any more attention.
Now I realize that since then, it is impossible for me to copy from Mac Disks to Pc Disks. I receive an (Error -36) ???
What did DiskUtility did as "required" modification?
I need these Fat partitions since I often carry stuff to PC.

-36 is a software permissions error only. No indication of any hardware issues, failures, etc.
no it's not. you've been told this several times. error -36 has nothing to do with permissions.

Most likely it felt the need to repair the drive's index - perhaps it was confused by the non-mac format, tho.
I would format them using Disk Utility via Snow Leopard and try again.

You should copy everything from your old comptuer to your new one.

Cannot connect from Mac Pro late 2013 to Macbook Pro

Cannot connect from Mac Pro late 2013 to Macbook Pro . I have tried via ethernet and wifi. I can connect from the MBP to the Mac Pro but not vice versa. I have tried to connect to other MBP's on the same network with no luck. I try and connect as a registered user, as I usually do, with no luck. When I enter the Username and then Password the box vibrates as if the details are incorrect, they are not however.

It is 'just not working' again.
To answer you question. Other sharing services work. I can connect as a guest. I can share screens. I cannot air drop.
I cannot connect either way now i.e. from Mac Pro to MBP and vice versa.
I cannot connect to my wife MBP either. My wife cannot connect to my Mac Pro.
It neither works with wifi or ethernet cable.
I can connect to my Time Capsule directly and Time Machine backups are working.
The passwords are 100% correct.
The Mac Pro is a late 2013. Does anyone else have a similar problem? I have never suffered this one before. Seriously effecting my workflow

OS X errors are cryptic. error code -50 says error in user parameter list.
You need to give us WAY more info if you want help.
What is WD for Mac? If it's an external drive - did you install any software for it? (shouldn't need to)
How much free space on the Mac HD? Size of the file(s)?
Is it a USB drive or Firewire or Thunderbolt?

Converting 3rd gen Nano from mac format to pc

I am having same problem. It is telling me to restore and then the restore download "times out". My internet works fine.

Folders that I copy from my Macbook to my External Hard Disk does NOT appear on any other drive that I connect the Hard disk to (TV, PC, ... etc.)

I'm facing a bit of a problem.
Any folder I copy from my Macbook Pro to my External Hard Disk does NOT appear on any other device that I connect the Hard Disk to (TV, PC, etc).
The Hard disk format is "MS-DOS (FAT)".
The folders that are copied from Macbook appear when I connect the Hard Disk to my Macbook only, yet, the folders that I copy from a PC to the Hard Disk appear on Macbook, PC, and TV and are also available from editing from both Mac and PC.
I was advised to install "Paragon" software and I did but I'm not sure how to use it to convert the folders on the hard drive to any format that can be read on other drives or devices (NTFS or otherwise).
I'd appreciate some help. Thank you.

Hi Simon. How is it formatted, FAT or NTFS?
I only ask as OSX will only read NTFS partitions unless you install an App such as Paragon NTFS or Tuxera NTFS.

Cannot upgrade from Mac OS X (10.4.11) with Mac OS X leopard upgrade DVD

I tried to install the Leopard today and I was unsuccessful. I was kept from proceeding to the initial install with a box that said Mac OS X cannot be upgraded to V 10.5 on your computer- Mac OS X v 10.4 or later cannot be found on your computer. At this point I can proceed and I had to quit. I brought my Macbook Pro last October just as the Leopard was being released. I purchased for a very small sum the Mac OS X Leopard Upgrade DVD but i used it today and no success. If anyone can assist me in this matter I would appreciate it. I am up to date with firmware and all other soft ware updates etc. I have also have v 10.5.1,2,3 in a folder ready to be added once I can install the my Leopard DVD

I posted a few weeks ago stating that I was unable to upgrade.
I ran Utilities and tried again to no avail.
I called Apple and they told me to backup everything and do a fresh install. Before doing that, I decided to see if the Leopard Upgrade DVD could see my backup because I created it so that it would be a bootable hard disk.
It did recognize my external disk, so I clicked on the Utilities application to see if it could see my hard disk and it couldn't. When I got back to the window that allowed me to select a hard disk, suddenly my internal hard disk appeared.
It worked, and now I'm using Leopard. I don't know if it's a workaround, but it was a lot better than deleting everything off of my computer, installing the new system, and copying it all back onto my internal hard disk.
I hope someone else will find out that this works for them...

IPod not recognized after restoring from Mac format.

I used my old iPod photo with my Mac for a long time. Recently I got a new iPod video and enjoy it a lot. I ended up selling my old iPod to my dad on the conditions that I had to put all the music on there for him .
Anyway, I know that Mac formatted iPods aren't recognizable on Windows PC's. Thus, I restored my old iPod to its original factory settings using the iPod software updater/restorer before trying to load my dad's library from the PC. However, the iPod is still not being recognized by the PC. And when I try the update/restore on the PC it says "iPod service error." It does show up in the "My Computer" folder, however it says the disk must be formatted. If I formatted it manually on the PC and then tried restore on the PC would it then work?

NEVERMIND. IGNORE TOPIC. My issue has been resolved.

OS X Lion Up to Date Program then and due to some issues in the copy I tried to reinstall mac lion through rcovery tools upon booting but I received this message " a server with the specified host couldnt be found". then I used the original dvd to boot the system and install leopard via erasing the hard disk.

You can go to the Apple online store and purcahse a copy of Mountain Lion. This will give you a redemption code, which you can use to download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Unfortuantely, I'm not aware of any other way to legally purchase it. I have never seen Apple release Muontain Lion on DVD.
In terms of Apple Service, they just need the serial number of the machine to check the purcahse date. It is usually correct, to within a few weeks. A quick Google search should give you the correct number to dial.

Its not an ideas system.
Client Business process is Quotatation & Sales Order are creating in CRM
Contracts are creating in R/3.
To decrease their license cost they wants to create Contracts in CRM,
Issue is : When ever am creating a contract with reffernce to quotation, product is not copying to Contract,
help to solve this issue

A/P Credit memo cannot copy from A/P Downpayment Invoice

Hello Everyone!
I have encounter problem in A / P credit memo. If I clicked on the Copy from A/P Down payment the list of invoices do not appear.
List seems to be empty. I've checked on the A/P down payment and the account is still open and the is an existing downpayment.

if the DPI is not shown in the matrix when you select AP Down Payment from the 'Copy From' menu in the credit memo, then that DPI has been paid or credited already. Only open DPIs can be used as base document for a credit memo.
To check, you should open the DPI, rightclick & select 'Applied/Reconciled Transactions'. That will show you the documents this DPI is reconciled with & guide you to the payment/credit note standing on it. If it's a payment, you can cancel the payment & thus re-open the DPI. It can then be used as base for a credit memo. You'll need to check with the accountant what to do with the payment.

I cannot copy from any website opened in FIrefox and paste into Word since using Windows 7, Office 7.

I just started using a new Windows 7 computer with Office 7 installed. I can no longer copy from any webpage opened in Firefox and paste into Word.
I can paste into email. Word to Word is OK. And copy from email and into Word is OK. But not from an opened webpage into Word.
Any help GREATLY appreciated!

Cannot put files from mac formatted ipod onto pc

i have an ipod that is formatted for mac. i don't have all of the original mp3 files for my music on my computer and need to put them onto a pc. i used a program (podutil) to get the music off of my ipod and onto my mac, then i wanted to move them to my pc. the files will not copy -- incorrect syntax.
is there any way to make these files play on a pc?

First thing: Are you sure you have all the music you want to put in the PC? Then, if you have some Files or Folder in your iPod copy them to your mac. Once this done (and verified) Restore your iPod, but this time ask the Restoration Programe to format the iPod in Windows Mode and enable the Disk Use (I can't remember how it's called).
Put your music and files back to your Windows Formated iPod and then plug it into the PC (with iTunes installed).
Now you'll be able to see and use the files.

On project load, CC7.2 on Windows 8 forces me to change scratch disk location away from Mac-formatted external HDD

When I open a project saved on my external hard drive it wants to change the scratch disks to My Documents Folder.
Once I accept it, it opens the project and then I am actually able to change the scratch disks back. Weird.
It's worth mentioning that my external drive is formatted for Mac and I bought a driver from Paragon allowing my PC to read and write to it. Idk if this is where Pr gets confused.

The reason why you are getting this prompt is just beacause the files that are saved on your scratch disk while working on MAC have location "/Volume/name of the HD/program or file name", but when you connect that drive to windows the location changes to "Drive Name:\" . So. it is the adressing issue of the drive that you are facing with the drives. It is alo not always necessary that the drives get same name when they are attached to the machine.
