Cannot create Apple ID because I do not meet the minimum age requirements

I am trying to set up an Apple ID for my 4 yo.  I messed up and tried to create an ID using her birth date to try to make it her own.  However, she does not meet the minimum age requirement to have an Apple ID which I can understand.  However, now I can't create another Apple ID using my birth date.  It constantly gives me the same message that I do not meet the minimum age requirement which I am pretty sure I do.  Any thoughts?

You can only create accounts for children via family sharing : Family Sharing and Apple IDs for kids.
For the second account that you are trying to create, are you using the same email address as you tried with the first account ? If you are then that might be why you are getting the same error

I made this account for my mom. After she puts in her info it tells her she is not old enough. Birth date is 0/09/1964. She cannot acces the apple store from her ipod touch because of this.

  • HT5622 I entered the wrong birthdate into the Apple ID login and now it is saying I so not meet the minimum age requirement. How do I fix this and create and account?

I just got an IPhone today and I went into the App Store to create an Apple ID and I accidentally entered the wrong birthdate and now it is saying I do not meet the minimum age requirement. How can I fix this and finally create my Apple ID?

    Try this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1918
If that doesn't work and you have not verified your email address, you may still be able to use it to create an Apple ID. Just start from scratch.

  • Itunes won't let me create an account because it says that I do not meet the minimum age requirements.  I was born in 1973.

My daughter is 13 yrs old.  She was born in August 1997.  When I tried to set up her itunes account, I mistakenly typed in the year of my son's birthday which is 1999....which would make her too young.  When I tried to create the account again, with the correct year of 1997, it is giving me a message that it "does not meet the minimum age requirements".  But it does.  What do I do to fix this?  I got her the Ipod for her birthday and haven't given it to her yet and I wanted to get some songs on it for her before I gave it to her.  What can I do?

Then I have no idea what to say (you did change names and dates I assume?)

Do a clean (re)install and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    * Firefox 8.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version if possible.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.
You can force Firefox to create a new default profile if you remove the profiles.ini file.

  • HT2534 I have tried this but it says I do not meet the minimun age requirement. Im 32!

I am trying to set up an itune account without a credit card. I have been in contact with apple customer support and have followed the prompts on this artical which they emailed to me. They said its like an account for children to download free apps. Ive done evrything right but it says I do not meet the minimum age requirement. I am 32 years old!!!

Make sure your address is being listed correctly. It can cause issues if invalid information is added. Worst case scenario, reply to that email from support and tell them you stil can't create the account

  • I'm trying to download the trial version of Adobe Illustrator. An error message says that the OS does not meet the minimum system requirements for the installer. 10.6.0 is the minimum required for installation. How do I get my mac to be a 10.6.0 ?

I'm trying to download the trial version of Adobe Illustrator. An error message says that the OS does not meet the minimum system requirements for the installer. 10.6.0 is the minimum required for installation. How do I get my mac to be a 10.6.0 ? Right now I have a 10.5.8 is there a way to upgrade or something?

Buy the Snow Leopard retail installer (http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A?fnode=MTY1NDAzOA).
That will take you to 10.6.3.
If required you can then use the combo updater to get to the latest version, 10.6.8 (http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399)

  • OS does not meet the minimum system requirements for this installer. 10.6.0 is the minimum required

How do I get my software? This is the message I am hitting before my download will complete:
OS does not meet the minimum system requirements for this installer.
10.6.0 is the minimum required for installation.

    Hi,
May I know what are you trying to download ?
What is the MAC OS version you are using ?
It seems you are trying to download an application which needs atleast 10.6 MAC version
I think you are using lower version of MAC, let us know the version of your MAC , in order to help better .
To check the version  : click on Apple Button on top left
select about this MAC, you will get to know the version over there.
If its something 10.5.x , then you need to upgrade your MAC in order to install that application which needs 10.6 MAC
    Thanks,

  • Error: The installed graphics card does not meet the minimum system requirements by Aperture

I have a Mac Pro 3.1 10.5.8 and Aperture 2.1.4.  My NVida 8800gt with 512 mb was over heating so I brought and install the ATI radeon hd 5770 to replace it.  Now when I try to start Aperture I get this message "Error: The installed graphics card does not meet the minimum system requirements by Aperture".  All other software works fine, ie photoshop elements and Safari.  When I install my old card aperture will open with no problem, but of course the card will overheat within 10 mins and I will have no video.  I have search on google with no luck.  Will upgrading to Aperture 3 fix this problem?

    5770 requires 10.6.5.
The 8800GT - there is the 350* bake in over 10 minutes - 50% or better chance
you can find 8800GT on http://myworld.ebay.com/macvidcards/

When I try to update my iMovie to be Maverick compatible, this is what I get " Your computer’s video card does not meet the minimum system requirements."  Any suggestions?  Thanks

I have a Mac Pro earley 2008 with 16gb ram and the original ATI Radeon 2600 XT 256mb ram card.
After searching everywhere and finding no helpful info I just went to amazon and serched video cards for Mac Pro. The Asus HD 6450 silent and others came up. They all show PC compatibatily but since Mac is now PC structure I think allmost any card will work that is PCI-e.
I purchased the Asus HD 6450  for $39.00 with $10 rebate and it worked great, ( plug and play ).
My startup is way faster than before and graphics are way better.
The DVI works great with my Viewsonic and if you need to connect more than one monitor the DVI and VGA are secondary. If your main monitor is HDMI than you will have no problems using more than 2 screens in sharing mode.

I am not 100% sure this is the issue, but I saw a different thread about the ATI Radeon HD 2600 not being OpenCL compatible for another program and that a newer compatible graphics card would be required to solve the problem.  I am getting the same message with my 2007 iMac 24".
