Cannot create AWS Hana instance - RelayState

Hi all,
when I try to create an AWS Hana instance, I get the error message
HTTP Status 400 - Service Provider endpoint saml2/sp/acs could not redirect to original application URL because it could not get the RelayState value from the request.
The request has a RelayState, though:
RelayState:"oucrspobrksorqmpspnfqxuxw"

Hi Micha,
Out of curiosity (and self-interest), was a solution for this problem ever discovered?
I have been encountering the exact same issue at the exact same step. Every attempt I make to create a AWS HANA instance is generating the error message you lis above. This is true regardless of browser. I even attempted to create a new account using an alternative e-mail address, to no effect.
Were you able to make any headway?
Regards,
Matt

Did you install the PowerPivot add-in for SharePoint? There are 2 parts to this - the SQL Server Power Pivot for SharePoint which is the Analysis Services instance running in Tabular Mode and the PowerPivot Add-in. The last line in your error message seems
to tell you that you have a missing component in the farm, possibly the PowerPivot Add-in

  • Deserialize works fine. Now I cannot create my class instance

When I deserialize my object a can get the object. Ok.
    ObjectInputStream ois = new ObjectInputStream(new FileInputStream(fichero));
                   aux = ois.readObject();
                   System.out.println(aux);
    And I see :
mypackage.myclass (This class is a Jpanel based and some references to another classes)
    Now I have 3 questiosn - problems:
1.- I dont know the class name (or I want that my code works with every kind of object) ,so... Is it neccesary to CAST the object?
2.- In this case.... it can be done by mean of string name ? aux = (the_cast) .... ( when the_cast = "MYclass")
3.- Finally I dont know how to create an instance of my new class
((MY_CAST) aux.getclass()).newinstance(); throws an error of "java.lang.Class cannot be cast ..."
    Any help?

1.- I dont know the class name (or I want that my code works with every kind of object) ,so... Is it neccesary to CAST the object? No, it's not necessary usually and when you don't know the type at compile time, then it's not possible either.
2.- In this case.... it can be done by mean of string name ? aux = (the_cast) .... ( when the_cast = "MYclass")No, that's not possible. Since casting doesn't change anything about the object but only about the reference, casting "to a dynamic type" is meaningless, since you couldn't have a reference variable "of a dynamic type" to hold the newly-cast object anyway.
3.- Finally I dont know how to create an instance of my new class
((MY_CAST) aux.getclass()).newinstance(); throws an error of "java.lang.Class cannot be cast ..."The problem is that you're trying to cast the Class object to MY_CAST (which I assume is your class), while it should in fact be a Class<? extends MY_CAST>.
I'm unclear what you want to achieve here and what you know about the object: Why do you want to create a new instance of an object you know nothing about?

  • AWS Hana one Volume usage - Amazon charging

    Hi All,
Currently I am having a HANA One AWS instance which I have started 2 weeks back. However when I see my account activity I found amazon is asking a high amount for the storage volume usage. Obviously they allow 30GB free per month but my volume allocation is more than 560GB which is waste as almost nothing is there.
Can anyone suggest me what I should do to avoid being charged so much by amazon? Please advise ASAP.
    Regards,
    TD

    Hi Swapan,
Thanks a lot for responding to my queries. However being on AWS with a pre-configured instance and provision to use it even for personal training is the most useful thing that SAP gave us but this should be categorized in my opinion.
I totally understand the AWS Hana instance is meant primarily for production usage hence the cluster configuration is made like that but this is not at all useful to the guys who use it for training / personal development. The current configuration is using 520GB of storage which is good enough for production usage - or sort of but totally overkill for the training use. The extra cost of this is not mentioned anywhere in SAP(as I see, pardon if I missed anywhere) and should be clearly mentioned in the system. No SAP Video from SAPHANA Academy says the same.
Yes, I am using my Hana instance for my personal usage/training so the cost that extra storage is bothering me - moreover didn't saw this mentioned anywhere.
I would request SAP to let people know how to optimized their storage utilization and save money in instances - meant for training purposes. Further I feel if SAP should consider providing two separate class of SAP HANA One instances - PRD usage/Training Usage and both with diff utilization. (Might be asking too much but I pretty feel there are many guys out in this web forest to utilize this HANA One for personal development)That would be a most effective way and will optimize resource utilization throughout. (A guy blocking 520GB storage for his training is quite overkill and waste of AWS resources)
Please check if you can guide us with this optimization.

  • Unable to login to HANA Instance on MS Azure

    Hello world,
I was able to successfully create a HANA Instance on MS Azure that is linked to my CAL account.
    Instance is up and running.
I am attempting to connect using "Connect" that is available on CAL and alternately also via SAP HANA Studio on my local desktop.
I have tried the standard user names such as my S-ID, my P#, my email id, SYSTEM, hdbadm ........... however, none of them work.
I am simply unable to logon.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Kindly guide.
    Thank you!

Specific instructions are available once you click the "connect" option inside of CAL.
Does that part work? Are you able to go to the server via the web browser using the IP of the machine? The IP will be listed like in the screenshot (although it will show your IP not the test system I just started)
In HANA Studio you should be able to give the IP of the machine, instance 00 and the password you gave with the user "SYSTEM" when you created the instance.

  • SAP CAL issue Activating HANA instance on AWS

My CAL instance of openSAP Course: Introduction to Software Development on SAP HANA 2013.01 is stuck in Activating status. I had previously deactivated my AWS account, and have now reactivated it.  I got an error when trying to active the instance that my AWS account did not have the services required for the instance, and now I seem to be stuck in between creating the instance and the instance actually getting created.  My AWS account is active, and I entered the security keys on the CAL side, but it is not working.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Eric,
The instance entered in a state that does not allow to disappear from the list after the termination. We (the SAP CAL Team) just fixed the instance manually and it should disappear from your list. I also would suggest you to double check that there is no created instance in AWS console also.
Now you can create a new instance.
    Best Regards,
    Kremena

    Hi Ajaz,
Error description is not detailed enough to provide the solution. You need to post the error message what you got in the server log files. This should contain specific details about the issue.
Not sure but issue may be related to JVM settings. if it is so, server log file will provide the error description.

  • Cannot start BW or HANA instances in SAP Management console

    Hi,
I created instance of "SAP Business Warehouse 7.4 SP5 incl. SAP Business Objects BI 4.1 SP2 on SAP HANA 1.0 SP7". When I'm trying to start SAP BW or SAP HANA instances in "SAP Management console" via remote desktop connection I receive an error message :
"WebService error: 21 The operation timed out" / "The RPC server in unavailable".
Any ideas how to fix this?

    Hi,
    See note: 535532
Mid way through the note it says:
You can then register the SAP J2EE Engine as a windows-service by using the SAP J2EE Engine Config Tool. Open a command prompt and change to the directory <J2EE Engine installation directory>configtool and run configtool.bat or start this tool via your Start-Menu "Tools->Config Tool" of the J2EE Server entry. Select at the left navigation area of this tool the entry "cluster/ server" the checkbox "Enabled" at the tabstrip "NT Service". Apply these settings by clicking on "File->Apply" at the menu. Do the same with the entry "cluster / dispatcher".
After you have finished these steps you can register now the J2EE Engine as a windows service.
Start service.exe, which is also located in the directory
<J2EE Engine installation directory>configtool. It works with three
    parameters:
Service.exe u2013install u2013 the service(s) is (are) registered as NT/2000 Service(s). For each specified cluster node, a separate service is generated. All services have startup mode automatic. To start the service(s), open the Control Panel ¨Services folder. Find the service in the list of available services (for example: SAP J2EE Server 1, SAP J2EE Dispatcher 1, SAP J2EE Server 2, and so on). Select it, and choose u201CStartu201D on the right-hand side. No u201CStartup Parametersu201D are needed for the service to run. The system starts the particular J2EE Engine 6.20 node in background mode. It can be used and administered as usual. The only difference is that the server does not run in a console window.
There may be other notes along these lines.
You should also check any notes on the setup of SAP in MSCS cluster, as it will contain instructions for registering the services.
Hope this gives you a pointer in the right direction.

Java is not involved in the error - Javascript is. Javascript is not Java, and except for the similar name, they have nothing in common. The problem is the way that Opera is interacting with Javascript and the webpage you visited. You probably want to look for the solution at Opera's website. This search listing may help:

My MySQL Connector jar file is in $CATALINA_HOME/common/lib and I believe my server.xml settings are correct because I added this Data Source to the context through the console and the web.xml file should be simple...nevertheless I still get this error.
Any suggestions on where I else I can turn. Pulling my precious few last hairs out here....

Thank you very much. That did the trick. Actually what did the trick was to reinstall tomcat with the standard installation, NOT the LE installation which doesn't include the dbcp jar files needed for connecting to a database - but you were right about missing those.
I was dissapointed in Tomcat's documentation of this issue. I would have thought that something that has to have caused other developers problems like this would have been documented somewhere more pronounced (if at all) on Tomcat's site.
For those other newbies out there who don't want to pull out your hair...here is a summary of the steps I took to remedy this problem.
    1) Install the latest version of Tomcat. Do NOT install the LE version, it does not include the neccessary library files to connect to a database (commons-dbcp.jar and commons-pool.jar).
    2) Download the latest mysql connector library from http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysqlcc.html. Once you have extracted the tar file, there will be some directories, a README file, a couple other text files and a jar file named mysql-connector-java-VERSION-stable-bin.jar. Move the mysql-connector-java-VERSION-stable-bin.jar file to $CATALINA_HOME/common/lib.
    3) Follow the instructions on http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-4.1-doc/jndi-datasource-examples-howto.html
to create a test database, a test jsp file and a test class to access the database.

  • Cannot Create Instance Error

I am using 11gR1, I am trying to run an application created out of a project template. I was able to successfully deploy both the composite and UI, When I login as initiator and click on the process link I am getting "cannot create instance error".
In EM, the Instance shows that its been faulted and has the following message.
ORABPEL-10513 Cannot get application roles from application identified by "{0}". An error occured while getting application roles from application identified by "OracleBPMProcessRolesApp". The underlying APIs threw an exception. Check the error stack and fix the cause of the error. Contact oracle support if error is not fixable.
All the organization roles have been created properly. Can anyone please tell me what could be the cause of this error. Thanks
    Venkat

    Hey Venkat,
Do you have any sample where you work with BPM template (MDS)...?if yes, could you share....those...?
I am new to 11g..in learning phase....it would be very nice if you could share some samples.....

  • BEA-090563 -- Cannot create instance of Hostname Verifier

I am trying to use custom hostname verifier for my osb project and following are the steps.
    1. Create java class -- given below as reference...
    2. Add the full class name @ Admin server --> ssl --> Advanced --> custom hostname verifier -- also choose custom hostname verifier in the host name verification field above it.
    3. Package the class in the jar file using eclipse export java project and place the file in server-lib folder.
    4. Restart admin and osb server.
I am facing following error ---

    Hi Ravi,
    3. Package the class in the jar file using eclipse export java project and place the file in server-lib folder.Instead of placing the jar in server-lib, please modify setDomainEnv.cmd/setDomainEnv.sh as below to add jar in the classpath-
    set CLASSPATH=<Your_Jar_PATH>;%CLASSPATH%
    Restart WebLogic Server and re-test.
From Weblogic 10.3.4 onwards there is a patch available to enhance the existing default BEA hostname verifier to include wildcard certificates and wildcard host name verifier is available in Weblogic 10.3.6
