Cannot create HP Connected Account

Hello
I have a problem creating HP Connected account. I use my email address which 5 years ago was  associated with my broadband provider's account. I had benefit of some free photo prints on snapfish website which was used with the same email address. HP Connected Account is forcing me to use my Snapfish login details. I do not have snapfish password anymore and when I try to reset the password snapfish is forwarding me to my old broadband provider's website where obviously I have no access anymore.

Hello,
You're being sent to your old email provider's website to retrieve a message that will instruct you to on how to complete the password reset process. If you no longer have access to this email account, then you'll need to use an email account that you have access to.
Do you have a Gmail or Yahoo account you can use to setup your HP Connected account?

    Kenny_I

    Hi Kenny_I,
As per my understanding, I think this issue may be caused by your colleague has no permission to access to data source 'EntityDataSource', it is a Kerberos issue. When report server uses ‘Windows authentication (integrated) or SharePoint user’ as the credentials
to access the data source 'EntityDataSource', the authentication would be failed.  So we should try to check if the issue is in this scenario. If in this case, we should change the credentials to stored credentials.
Besides, if we don’t configure C2WTS Service Account to use Local System, it needs the following local policy rights:
Act as part of the operating system.
    Impersonate a client after authentication.
    Log on as a service.
For more details, please refer to the following blog:
    http://www.codeovereasy.com/2014/01/powerview-report-fails-no-credentials-are-available-in-the-security-package/
    Hope this helps.

  • Helpdesk Report Group Users - Cannot create a connection to data source 'DataSource1'

Getting the following error for a User accessing the report who is a member of the reporting group. If I add them as a sysadmin in SQL they can get access. What permissions need changing for this user group?
Cannot create a connection to data source 'DataSource1'. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Login failed for user

    Dave,
For a complete understanding of the permission and groups, I would rather suggest you to do the installation of the MBAM components in a single server infrastructure in a test environment.
Create the following domain security groups and use it during the configuration of the MBAM roles:-
    1) MBAM Advanced Helpdesk Users
    2) MBAM Helpdesk Users
    3) MBAM Report Users
    4) MBAM Read and Write Access
    5) MBAM Read Only Access.
Create an application pool account and create a login in SQL for it. Use it only during:-
    1) Configuration of "Compliance and Audit Database connection"
    2) Configuration for All Web Applications.
If your application pool account is not a domain administrator, the run the following powershell command to set the service principal name :-
    Setspn
    -s http//<FQDN of MBAM Web Server> domain\<Application pool account>
Make sure the application pool account must be trusted for delegation.
That's all you need to do. Then after the installation you can check the properties of each group in SQL to verify the rights and permission assigned during the installation.

How can I reset my security question and I cannot create a new account because I have £18 on the account that I can't remember the security questions to

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 on the page that you posted from should let you reset them : go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account, then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use, or if it's available in your country you could change to 2-step verification : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5570

  • Cannot Create a New Account in Sync

I had a failed attempt to set up sync a couple of months ago, probably in FF 3.xx. I don't know if it actually created an account or not. I somehow got a sync key (I think) but Mozilla won't recognize my user name. I decided to start over, but Sync will not let me create a new account. I follow all the steps, agree to Terms of Service, but the Next button won't light up. I've tried different passwords and sometimes it says the pw is too short, other times it says the pw cannot match my sync key, but I can't get the Next button to light up. FF 5.0, Win 7. Hopefully it's something obvious. Thanks for your help

Thank you, yes. Perhaps I should have said "I follow all the steps in the articles"
Number 3 in the article referenced states:
    3. Enter your email address, create a password and confirm it. Then check "I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy" and click Next.
I've done this twelve times, even trying different e-mail addresses and password configurations, but the "Next" will not enable. Does FF have limits on the length or characters used in the passwords? I use Keepass to generate passwords, but I don't use any special settings or unusual characters.
    Thanks

  • Cannot create a computer account at start up

Bought a brand new MAc book pro, and cannot get passed the installation set-up phase: All is well until the  "create your computer account" menu, which once filled in, takes me back to first set-up screen "Use english as teh main language".....basically does not seem to want to create a user acoount? Any ideas please! Thanks in advance
It is Macbook pro retina, cannot see what OS as cannot get to main apple page...I assume it is Lion, definitely not Mountain Lion...Thanks

    Well you have 2 option.
    1) Return it for one that works correctly right out of the box. Apple has a 14 day No Questions Asked return policy for full refund.
    2) Boot to the Recovery HD, Command+r at boot, Open Disk utility and Repair Disk and Repair Permissions. Then when that fails Return it for another that works correctly.

  • I cannot create a LifeLog Account on my Z3 compact

... and according to reviews in German Google Play store, I'm not the only one.
Whenever I try to log into LifeLog or to create an account, I get error messages, saying either my password or ID was wrong (they are correct, I have no problems logging in to my Google Account or the Sony account when using my laptop.) or that the account wasnt found. If I select "create new account", I can fill in my data, but as soon as I select a Country, I get redirected (without pressing anything) to the previous page where I'm supposed to log in. However, I cant log in, as I get the error messages described above then.
I tried contacting the German support chat, but they couldnt help me, saying it would be the first time they hear about that problem. Still, there are lots of users facing this problems for weeks according to LifeLog-review on German Play Store...
So, anyone got an idea on how to fix it? Got me a SmartBand and would really love to use LifeLog.

I still cannot create an account in the Lifelog application, from my Xperia z3 compact.
But there is a solution: just create an account on Sony Entertainment Network:
    https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/liquid/reg/account/create-account!input.action
...and then you will be able to log in from your smartphone with the SEN account and use Lifelog normally.

check if you installed JTDS driver. If not,
    - go to http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=33291,
    - extract the jar file,
    - copy it to a convenient location (SQL Developer subfolder would be preferable)
    - start sql developer and go to properties
    - expand Database, go to Third Party JDBC drivers and add the .jar file above.
    - recheck the connection.
    Good luck,

  • Cannot connect to server since upgrade to 31.6. Cannot create a new account either.

Tried to change port settings, but that did not work. Chatted with comcast, but they couldn't fix the problem. Made it worse by suggesting that I delete old account and reestablish a new one. Deleting old account made it worse by removing my large inbox. New account message from Thunderbird is that it "failed to find the settings for your email account." In addition, the error console has this message "Timestamp: 4/6/2015 11:51:08 AM

Tries to reestablish using POP instead of changing to IMAP. Same message. see image

First of all get the correct server settings from Comcast.
If Thunderbird fails to detect the correct settings automatically follow these instructions.

    Hi Susan,
As my understanding, your development and production environments are two (two way) trusted domains in one forest, and the SharePoint instance was built on the development domain. If this is the truth, please first verify whether your production domain account
profile has been imported into the user profile service application. If it is not, refer to the following article to check the configuration of your user profile synchronization.
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee721049.aspx
If your user profile can be searched correctly, the issue might be caused by fact that the people picker search was limited to the development domain. Please use the following command to configure the people picker search domains:
stsadm –o setproperty –pn peoplepicker-searchadforests –pv <list of forests or domains> -url <WebApp>
More information can be found in
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc263460.aspx

  • TS4058 HELLO I WOULD LIKE TO CREATE AN IWEB but I cannot create a .mac account help please?

    Hello,
I am having trouble trying with publishing my iWeb site however I am taking to log in screen for the .mac account and cannot log into it. I am not sure if I have one created. I created one through iChat I believe but it is still giving me an invalid account name or password after submitting the website to be published. Can anyone help please? I am currently using a Macbook 2008 series with Leopard 10.5 OS... thank you, Sahara

iChat and MobileMe are NOT the same thing.  .Mac does not exist and has not now for several years - it is MobileMe instead, but unless you already have an account which is sounds as if you don't, then it is too late. You can't get one now.
If you want to publish your site, then you'll have to find a domain name registrar and register a domain name of choice and then purcahse hosting too and then you can publish by publishing to a local folder and then uploading using an ftp client such as Cyberduck.

  • Cannot create iSCSI connection to HP4300 SAN [OVM3.1.1]

I have set up OVM 3.1.1 on oracle 11g SE. I have on OVS with three bonded networks...One for Management, Storage, and the third for VM vlan networks. Now I need to set up some storage. My SAN is an HP P4300. I found that the initiator for my OVS is
    OVM1:iqn.1988-12.com.oracle:6d6be5deab82
Inside the console for my SAN, I create a server object and enter the initiator OVM1:iqn.1988-12.com.oracle:6d6be5deab82 into it.
I get a message that it is not in the standard format.... but I continue.
Now back to OVM, I try to discover my SAN. Enter the name, ISCSI SAN, Gengeric, and the IP address of the SAN. I then select the OVS. After the job is launched....it fails
I tried the initiator without the OVM1: making the standard format....but it still failed. I do not have chap selected to eliminate that.
I appears to be an authentication thing....so it must be the initiator (Can it be changed to delete the OVM1:)
What am I missing.....this should be pretty simple......

Great! That makes since......but did not solve my problem.....The iSCSI initiator is in the correct format. When it is listed in the Web GUI, it adds the server name to the beginning. But I tried it with out the server name and it still
error ed out. I rebooted the node, deleted the server from the manager and rediscovered the server.....still same problem.
I used the same initiator address from the vm server and named my workstation initiator with it. I talked with my SAN tech support, but I was the first one who has call that uses Oracle VM ......but they have no idea what the problem could be... I was able to connect to my SAN using the oracle initiator (from my windows 7) box...... so this definitely points to the vm server...
but what could be the problem..... I can ping the SAN from the server....????
    Thanks,

  • Safari cannot create secure connection with certain websites

I have OS X 10.10 with every available updates, and Safari's currently unable to 'establish secure connection' with some site I'm trying to connect, most disturbing being the whole Steam network (store/support.steampowered.com, steamcommunity.com, etc). IE (via Bootcamp), Chrome (both standalone and integrated into Steam client) and Firefox have no problem doing so.
Considering sometime before the in Steam browser indicated the site as insecure (a red lock icon with a cross, typically used to indicate bad cert) for a short time, and hearing of certs issued to gov agencies for man in the middle, I compared the cert for store.steampowered.com/login (which, in contrary to most content on that domain, forces a secure connection) and this discussions.apple.com. Well Firefox and IE do show a normal grey lock icon without organization name, and Chrome admits the website's ownership is unverified (in details, it says ownership is verified by the CA but there's no public verification record; the secure setting of that site has outdated, too) despite having Valve's name and green lock icon. So the cert could be a fake since it's an ordinary (I guess?) cert from a EV authority (DigiCert High Assurance EV CA-1 in this case). The certificate shown from Chrome is totally fine (not a single red cross in the chain), though.
Well there're other https resources Safari fails to create a secure connection with every now and then. I just forgot/ am unable to test them with other browsers (Sometimes it's not the page itself that can't be retrieved via https, but some resource it loads. Sadly I only know how to use Inspector in Safari, though I'm sure other browsers have similar functions, too). I suspect Safari just refuses such certificates (or the AES_128_CBC method maybe) while other browsers accept it. Is there an override for this?
Weird enough, https://ev-root.digicert.com/ has grey lock on Firefox and Safari. Seems overriding is the only workaround.
As a side note, my Safari freezes upon loading PayPal, being ir-responsive for tens of seconds on every activity such as clicking a link. For most of duration of the freeze no high CPU usage is monitored, though ocspd does sometimes take 50% or so, and the web process bursts into 100% immediately before unfreezing. Guess Yosemite has some issues with TLS on the system level.

This could be a complicated problem to solve, as there are several possible causes for it.
Back up all data, then take each of the following steps that you haven't already taken. Stop when the problem is resolved.
    Step 1
    From the menu bar, select
               ▹ System Preferences... ▹ Date & Time
Select the Time Zone tab in the preference pane that opens and check that the time zone matches your location. Then select the Date & Time tab. Check that the data and time shown (including the year) are correct, and correct them if not.
    Check the box marked
              Set date and time automatically
if it's not already checked, and select one of the Apple time servers from the menu next to it.
    Step 2
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /System/Library/Keychains/SystemCACertificates.keychain
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
              Services ▹ Show Info
from the contextual menu.* An Info dialog should open. The dialog should show "You can only read" in the Sharing & Permissions section.
    Repeat with this line:
    /System/Library/Keychains/SystemRootCertificates.keychain
If instead of the Info dialog, you get a message that either file can't be found, reinstall OS X.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Open a TextEdit window and paste into it by pressing command-V. Select the line you just pasted and continue as above.
    Step 3
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
In the upper left corner of the window, you should see a list headed Keychains. If not, click the button in the lower left corner that looks like a triangle inside a square.
In the Keychains list, there should be items named System and System Roots. If not, select
              File ▹ Add Keychain
from the menu bar and add the following items:
    /Library/Keychains/System.keychain
    /System/Library/Keychains/SystemRootCertificates.keychain
Open the View menu in the menu bar. If one of the items in the menu is
              Show Expired Certificates
select it. Otherwise it will show
              Hide Expired Certificates
    which is what you want.
From the Category list in the lower left corner of the window, select Certificates. Look carefully at the list of certificates in the right side of the window. If any of them has a blue-and-white plus sign or a red "X" in the icon, double-click it. An inspection window will open. Click the disclosure triangle labeled Trust to disclose the trust settings for the certificate. From the menu labeled
              Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
    select
              no value specified
Close the inspection window. You'll be prompted for your administrator password to update the settings.
Now open the same inspection window again, and select
When using this certificate: Use System Defaults
Save the change in the same way as before.
Revert all the certificates with non-default trust settings. Never again change any of those settings.
    Step 4
Select My Certificates from the Category list. From the list of certificates shown, delete any that are marked with a red X as expired or invalid.
Export all remaining certificates, delete them from the keychain, and reimport. For instructions, select
              Help ▹ Keychain Access Help
from the menu bar and search for the term "export" in the help window. Export each certificate as an individual file; don't combine them into one big file.
    Step 5
    From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences... ▹ Certificates
There are three menus in the window. Change the selection in the top two to Best attempt, and in the bottom one to  CRL.
    Step 6
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:
    /var/db/crls
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
A folder named "crls" should open. Move all the files in that folder to the Trash. You’ll be prompted for your administrator login password.
Restart the computer, empty the Trash, and test.
    Step 7
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    open -e /etc/hosts
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window by pressing command-V. I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting. A TextEdit window should open. At the top of the window, you should see this:
    # Host Database
    # localhost is used to configure the loopback interface
    # when the system is booting.  Do not change this entry.
    127.0.0.1                              localhost
    255.255.255.255          broadcasthost
    ::1                                        localhost
    fe80::1%lo0                    localhost
If that's not what you see, post the contents of the window.
