Cannot create InfoArea (Source System ID Problem)
Hi,
I cannot create an InfoArea in our BW TestSystem due to the source system ID. I get the following message...
"Choose a Change Request with Target System CCX"
The Performance Asst. gives me the following protocol.....
Diagnosis
The selected change request CC7K900485 has target system .
However, the objects you edit can only be recorded in change requests with the target system CCX.
The correct target system is determined from the package and transport layer to which the object concerned belongs.
System Response
The selected change request CC7K900485 is not used to record the objects.
Procedure
Either choose a different change request or change the target system of the change request CC7K900485.
From the prompt window for change requests, you can display all requests you can use by choosing Own requests.
Alternatively, you can create a new request by choosing Create request.
For more information, see the SAP Library under BC - Basis Components -> Change and Transport System .
I have been in the SourceSystem ID Maintenance (CtrlShiftF11) and noticed that all system ID are two lettered. Could you pls explain how I proceed with this problem.
Thanks,
SD
Hi Srinivas.
Thanks for ur advice. I am on the Requests (Free Selection) screen after going through SE03 and can see the Request CC7K900485. Under that there are a lot of users with comments like "Development/Correction" or "Repair". Could u help me with how I can change the target system to CCX.

Creating new Source system problem
Hi there,
System: BW 3.5 client 010, want to connect to R/3 4.6c Sandbox client 0101
we just refreshed our BW 3.5 sandbox with current production data. Now we want to create the source system via RSA1 to point to R/3 Sandbox. When we try to create this we get this new error. I am not sure why it is
Error:
Logical system BIX010 exists already
Message no. R3222
Diagnosis
The SAP Business Information Warehouse BIX010 is already connected to the source system. A multiple connection is not possible.
For some reason, it is reading as BIX010(talking to the system itself) - BW Sandbox systems, it should be doing the source system creation for SBX010 not BIX010 (talking to the system itself)
I tried to create the system manually and automatically, still no luck.
I cannot see SBX010 source system in teh RSA1, I am afraid it might be in the database table and not showing up in the transaction RSA1, does anyone know the table that it has this information, so I can se16 and look at the entries?
Does anyone knows where to look for?
Thanks in Advance
KumarGoto SM50 and check for ABAP connections. Look for SBX010. If you don'T find it here you have to create it. Check also BIX010 if it'S connected to the right system.

Problem in creating SRM source system in BW
hi all,
as much i knw. i can say that there are 4 steps in creating SRM source system in BW :-
1) creating logical system for SRM client
2)creating logical system for BW client
3)naming background user
4)creating SRM source system in BW.
now i am facing some basic problems....
1) I logon to SRM system using client 001 so do i need to assign SRM logical system i am creating to this client only.
2) same way i logon to BW using client 800, so do i need to assign BW logical system to client 800.
3)how can i create background users for link to SRM.
4)does anything needs to be done in RFC.Hi,
Once you read the following help on creating source system,Most of teh doubts will be cleared :

Yet another ALERT: Cannot create class in system package
I've searched on the forums and seen several postings and none that really explained a solution, just the initial poster replying they fixed the problem. I am new to J2ME and java in general, I'm going off a book and my first test worked fine but this one gives me the the ALERT: Cannot create class in system package, when I select the GO command. The error occurs in the commandAction method where command == go trying to create an alert message. I am using MIDP 2.0 and as I stated new to this whole thing so a detail response would be greatly appreciated and what I need to do to resolve this for now and the future.
Source code for TextBoxTest.java :
import javax.microedition.midlet.*;
import javax.microedition.lcdui.*;
public class TextBoxTest extends MIDlet implements CommandListener
private TextBox textBox;
private Alert alert;
private Command quit;
private Command go;
public TextBoxTest()
// Setup the UI
textBox = new TextBox("Enter Name", "", 20, TextField.ANY);
go = new Command("Go", Command.SCREEN, 1);
quit = new Command("Quit", Command.EXIT, 2);
textBox.addCommand(go);
textBox.addCommand(quit);
textBox.setCommandListener(this);
protected void startApp() throws MIDletStateChangeException
Display.getDisplay(this).setCurrent(textBox);
protected void pauseApp()
protected void destroyApp(boolean unconditional)
throws MIDletStateChangeException
public void commandAction(Command command, Displayable displayable)
try
if (command == quit)
destroyApp(true);
notifyDestroyed();
if (command == go)
alert = new Alert("", "Greetings " + textBox.getString(), null,
AlertType.CONFIRMATION);
Display.getDisplay(this).setCurrent(alert);
catch (MIDletStateChangeException me)
System.out.println(me + " caught.");
}Ok so my problem isn't with the code it's with the build order. I guess I needed to state that I was following a book and trying to compile and preverify through command line and not using the toolkit or an IDE. So if I use NetBeans 5.0 or the Wireless Toolkit 2.5 I can compile fine.
So my new question is, can someone show me the steps to build through command line? This is MIDP 2.0. -

Create sap-source system in netweaver
Hello,
i want to create a R/3-(4.6c)-source system in my Netweaver-BI (2004s), but I have problems with the connection.
For the connection i created in the Netweaver a new destination and a user "User_A" with the profile "S_BI-WX_RFC / Business Information Warehouse: RFC-User in Warehouse.
In the R/3 I created a user "User_B" with the profile "S_BI-WX_RFC / Business Information Warehouse, RFC-User Extraction"
After creating the Source-System in the AWB with the destination and the 2 Users, I have to Log-On as an administrator in the R/3. After Log-In comes the message "User already exists in source system. Only continue if Profile and Password Are Correct."
Then I have to create the Destination in the R/3. There I fill in the "Logon"-Part my "User_A", but then I get the alert:
RFC user logon failed. Check the connection. Message no. R3 077.
Diagnosis: You tried to logon using the RFC user. This action failed.
System response: Name or Password not correct
But I'm sure that I made no mistake with the password.
Has anyone an idea what I did wrong?
Thanks
MalteHi,
Generally we maintain the Destinations and userids in both systems first, and then create the source sytem in AWB of BIW.
Have you created the Logical system names in both the systems ?
Have assigned the client to the logical system name to client in both systems?
Have you mentioned correct client in the destinations?

Job not started (create) in source system when I start the infopackage
Hi experts...
I have a problem with a process. (infopackage)
This message in status during 17 hours.
Request still running
Diagnosis
No errors could be found. The current process has probably not finished yet.
System response
The ALE inbox of the SAP BW is identical to the ALE outbox of the source system
and/or
the maximum wait time for this request has not yet run out
and/or
the batch job in the source system has not yet ended.
Current status
No Idocs arrived from the source system.
After..
Non-updated Idocs found in Source System
Diagnosis
IDocs were found in the ALE inbox for Source System that are not updated.
Processing is overdue.
Error correction:
Attempt to process the IDocs manually. You can process the IDocs manually using the Wizard or by selecting the IDocs with incorrect status and processing them manually.
I don't know how resolve this problem, the job that shoul be created in source system was not create.Hello RBS,
As per the message posted ur idocs are in status 64 so u need to process those idocs manually and you can do this by going to transaction BD87 and reason u get this kind of problems is because you dnt have enough dialog process in application server or because of load balancing so contact your basis team if u face this kind of problem regularly.
Assining Points = Thanks in SDN
Thanks & Regards

Create SAP Source System Failed
Hi all,
We are using NetWeaver 2004s BI and try to connect to ECC 5.0. I tried to create SAP source system but got error message saying "RFC user logon failed". When I check RFC destination in ECC 5.0 for BI, the test connection is ok, but the remote logon will pop up another logon screen asking for id and password. I am pretty sure that the id and password in RFC destination is correct. The RFC destination in BI is ok. Can you help me out with this? Thanks a lot in advance.Hi,
Check the Default Logon <b>Client</b> for ECC 5.0
and verifiy that the User is in the Same Client
Each RFC destination has a mapped user for specific Client..Check the Client and User in the same client

Error when creating SAP source-system in RSA1
hi,
we have a new bi-installation. the bi-system is running in the SAME system as our erp 2005-system is running.
the bi-client is 700, our source-system (FI/CO) client is 101. I want to create a source-system in RSA1. at the end i get the following error message:
<b>Name D01MAND700 of client 700 is not the same as the name D01MAND101 of the Warehouse
Message no. R3225
Diagnosis
In order to guarantee error-free communication between the source system and the SAP Business Information Warehouse, the logical system names must be known to both.
The system has established that the selected source system name D01MAND101 in the SAP Business Information Warehouse is not the same as the logical system name D01MAND700.
System Response
Processing has been terminated and all changes undone.
Procedure
Create the source system under the name D01MAND700 in the SAP Business Information Warehouse or change the logical system name for client 700 to D01MAND101 in the ALE customizing screen of the source system.
Note that the logical system name for client 700 may already be being used for other ALE scenarios. If this is the case you are not able to change the name.</b>
i don't understand this error ? is it because the BI-system and the erp-system is the SAME system ?
reg, Martinmr. kapadia,
there is one entry in table rsbasidoc, and it looks like that:
SLOGSYS D01MAND700
RLOGSYS D01MAND700
OBJSTAT ACT
BIDOCTYP ZSCA017
TSIDOC3X 0
TSPREFIX CA
SRCTYPE M
SAPREL 700
TSTPNM D78358
TIMESTMP 20.070.622.093.042
SBWBCRL 700
RBWBCRL 700
looks strange, right ? what should i do ? delete this entry ? how can i do this, it is a customizing table, i cant delete it via SE16 ?!?

Source System Connection Problem - RSAR 371
We are attempting to create source system connections in our newly created NW2004s Dev system (sapdvbd1/BD1). We also have an existing NW2004s Dev system (sapsvbd1/BD1) which already contains the same source system connections. The old Dev system was on a virtual machine but due to performance issues we have built another Dev system on a real server. Is there any way to create these source system connections on both servers until everything has been moved from the old to the new? The same source systems need to exist on both. Thanks.
Hi ,
Please check with basis or if you can ,then try to restore the source system in BI/BW.This should correct the inconsistencies between the two systems which is being caused by different Idoc types
Also check the table RSBASIDOC in the BI system and compare this to R/3 system ,the "basic type" field should be same.
A restore should work,it has always worked for me.

Cannot create class in system package
Hello,
I wrote a J2ME game for nokia S40 phones. It compiles without any errors, but when I'm trying to run in on the Nokia 7210 phone emulator I receive the following message:
Cannot create class in system package.
Howerver running on the Nokia 6230 phone emulator is ok.
I have obfuscated my applet as I read in previous topics, but still it does not work.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks,
Alexander.You get that error when you try to reference a class that is part of the MIDP framework but isn't installed on the phone.
The 7210 doesn't support MMAPI or WMA or MIDP 2.0, while the 6230 does, so check that you don't have any references (even an import statement), to classes from those packages (like the javax.microedition.media.*, javax.microedition.lcdui.game.*,javax.wireless.messaging.*, etc. packages hierarchies).

Cannot create class in system package while Using Sprite class
Hi i developed a game using Sprite class & imported
javax.microedition.lcdui.game.*; package. But when i tried to build this project it gave me "Cannot create class in system package" error. Worst thing is that now again if i build, then it displays error "package javax.microedition.lcdui.game.*; does not exist" . Pls help meFirst exception means that you tried to create a class with the package name equaling one from the predefined libraries in midp/cldc.
For your second error, add all the jars you are using into the project's classpath.

Creating multiple source systems one logical system
Hi,
The requirement is to create two source systems using same logical name and different RFC connections to ECC?
We wanted to do some regular activities using one source system and some drill down activities using different source system.
I am getting error when I try to create second source system "source system already exist"
Please advice.
Thanks.Hi,
I dont think it is possible to create multiple source systems in a sinle logical client. You have to create multiple clients and you can connect to BI system by different RFCs.
Hope this helps.....

How to create WebService Source System?
Hi,
I am trying to integrate XI and BI. How do I create a webservice source system? When I create the webservice source system in RSA1, it asks for a logical system name. Do I need to create a RFC destination for this logical system? What other steps should be done here?
Thanks,
DeepthiThank you. I am actually referring to step 5 in the below how-to-guide.
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/40574601-ec97-2910-3cba-a0fdc10f4dce
The step 5 says "create webservice source system". But, it does not give details as to what steps should be taken to actually create this. Anyone, used this approach?
Thanks,
Deepthi
