Cannot create playlist on iPad Mini

When I try to create a playlist on my iPad Mini, it tells me I have no music.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I want to put all my soundtrack music into a playlist, but I don't have a computer readily available where I am right now.

All work now, not sure why.

I would suggest that you buy a visa or mastercard gift card and put a few dollars on it and use it to access the store. Just add money to it before you want to buy something from the store and it will act like a normal credit card for you.

Try a reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go. Also, it is iOS 8.2 that you are trying to install since that is the current version. I had no problems updating my mini today so hopefully yours will go well too.

Pages Document created on Macbook Air cannot be opened on Ipad Mini. I get a message that reads, "only documents saved in pages '09 may be opened." These devices are one week old and I just downloaded Pages for each.

I just got a Macbook Air running 10.8.2 and an iPad Mini. I downloaded Pages for both. I created a document in pages on the MBair and tried to save it to the iPad Mini so I could work on it while commuting and the file does not show up on the mini. I have tried to saved the file through iTunes app page and the message keeps telling me I can only transfer files saved in Pages 09. What gives? I can transfer files made in Microsoft word no problem, but files made in the same program do not work. Any help?? Very frustrating.

You are aware that Pages for Mac and Pages for iPad /iPhone/iPod are 2 different program?
Looks like you have Pages for Apple mobile devices but not for your Mac.

Newly created passcode to iPad Mini doesn't work!

I recently upgraded my OS software on my iPad mini like I always do when requested. I created a passcode like it asked me to do. Today it won't work. How do I check to see what passcode I created and to verify if what I typed is what I thought I created? I can't get into my iPad Mini!

Cannot create playlist with new OS

I just updated my touch (3rd generation) to OS5.1.1 and now I cannot create a playlist on my device. I used to be able to just right click on the music folder under my device and create a playlist that I could drag music into, but now that doesn't happen at all. I cannot create a playlist at all on my device unless I create it the itunes window and then move the entire playlist to my device. The problem with this is that I can't add any new music to the playlist once it's there, and I can't delete anything either. I'm really frustrated by this...how can I create a playlist like I could before where it was so simple and I could just drag whatever I wanted into it? Help me please!!

I cannot connect my new iPad mini to my iPhone 4S by bluetooth

Hi there,
I have just got my iPad mini wifi .
In the apple store the assistant showed me that it was possible to Bluetooth with my iPhone 4S
Now I am home I cannot connect the 2 devices .
I have reset both devices as well but the only device discoverable is my daughter's laptop.
Her iPhone 5 is not discoverable either.
What am I doing wrong ?

Other than the Hotspot feautre, there is no way to connect iPad and iPhone through bluetooth, because there's nothing they can do when connected.
I am assuming what the person at the Apple Store showed you was the Hotspot feature, in which case you need to Turn on Hotspot, and then turn on Bluetooth.

Currently, the order in which the phone numbers appear (in a contact) is dependent on the sequence to which you enter them. There is no way to change that order other than re-entering them in the desired order.

Vers 12.0.1.26 Cannot create playlists

My existing playlists gone. I cannot figure out how create new playlists. Does Apple think we do not need them?
Also, at one point I took the lots of time to uncheck songs I don't want to listing to anymore, or at least for a while. It is gone and all songs are checked again.
I am not happy. Please give me some suggestion.

Go through each of the sources Music, Movies etc. and select Playlists. Use the ellipsis ... to enable sources. Apps, Tones, and Internet Radio don't have a Playlists button, the others do and remember your selection. Not exactly the same as the old sidebar, but not too different.
If your playlists really are missing see Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash.
Enable the menu bar with Ctrl+B to access the file menu and playlist creation options.

Cannot get playlist on iPad after install of iOS 7 WHy?

Once updated to iOS 7 the presernt music playlist was no longer available. Used the main computer to make a new playlist and transferred the songs to the music folder icon of the iPad as before then disconnected the iPad. Opened the music icon on the iPad and could not find the playlist that was just created. Every song that is in my main music library appears on the iPad but not the 20 song playlist.

Thanks, I had tried that as I read a few forums before I posted the question but thanks anyway. I have solved it now. In the end I decided to set it up as a new ipad (reading that I would lose everything) and then back up from the itunes again, however when I did this, it just asked for a new passcode then let me in without losing anything.
Spent all morning trying to sort it and only took 2 minutes once I decided to set up as new. Thanks again.

Cannot create playlist using itune

I cannot seem to create a playlist. I am using ITunes windows version and I IPhone 6 plus. When I connect and sync. Using ITunes I select File-New-playlist is greyed out it will not let me create a playlist on my IPhone.

Ok, Done by creating separate playlist
for each different folders. Only disadvantage is iPOD don't continue to the next playlist automatically, need to select next playlist manually. Wondering why is this so?
