"Cannot Decode Raw Data" Message with Ebay

Regularly when i'm using Ebay Safari fails to load the web page with the following error:
Safari can’t open the page “http://my.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyeBay&gbh=1&&_trksid=m38&guest=1”. The error was: “cannot decode raw data” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1015) Please choose Report Bugs to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.
This happens all the time on Ebay, but has never happened on any other website. Has anyone else run into this before? Any ideas what is the cause?
I am using a Macbook Pro with Leopard 10.5.4.

So, it's almost impossible to find anything on the 'net or on the Apple site regarding this problem. This puts a major cramp in my browsing activity as, in order to bookmark a page using delicious.com I would need to copy and paste everything into Firefox and go from there, bouncing back and forth between the two on a regular basis. Soooo, until then, I guess I will be giving Firefox a try.
This is another bug that could really use some immediate attention. It's affecting eBay and delicious, for sure. Who knows what else is being affected.

    Getting the message cannot decode raw data when accessing a Joomla website.I can acess the homepage but cannot get on to look at any of the products. Have tried using other peoples iphones to view the same website and the same error appears works fine in a web browse or android.

    Was the other iPhone the same model, running the exact same iOS, accessing the website through the same App?
    Try using Google Chrome.  Do you still have the issue?
    Edit: Just realized you said that the other iPhone had the same issue.
    Here's how troubleshooting works.
    Look for a single common element.
    If two iPhones cannot connect to a particular wi-fi router (but CAN connect to other wi-fi routers, like a public one at McDonalds), does that suggest a problem with BOTH iPhones, or a problem with that wi-fi router?

  • When connected to wifi, I get an error message saying "cannot decode raw data"

    While I am at school, I can connect to the wifi, however I can only access google, and the apple website. When I try and google something to work on a project, I get a messgae that says "Cannot Decode Raw Data" it is getting rather annoying, and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. The only time I have gotten this message is while at my school, it has worked before but only started this recently.
    Is there a quick fix for this? Is it something caused by the wifi at school?
    Thanks in advance.

  • "cannot decode raw data" - Safari (3.1) can't open the page..

    Hi all,
    I've been experiencing continuing issues with the Safari browser (3.1). I have emptied cache and reset safari, but to no avail!
    Every time i try to load certain web pages, ie. eBay, You Tube, i receive the following message:
    +Safari can’t open the page “http://k2b-bulk.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dl?MyEbaySellingActiveListings&ssPageNam e=STRK:ME:LNL”. The error was: “cannot decode raw data” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1015) Please choose Report Bugs to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.+
    Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Webpages i try to load in Safari work fine in Firefox and Flock!
    Many thanks

    Yes, all of a sudden I have a very similar error trying to access www.macworld. ie Safari can’t open the page “http://www.macworld.com/”. The error was: “cannot decode raw data” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1015)
    Just started happening out of the blue! And then on one other shopping web page.

    Post a link to the page, if possible. Otherwise try opening the page in another browser, such as Firefox.

  • I cannot open raw file shot with canon 20d. I get an error message.

    I recently used a 50d camera and shot in raw +jpeg. Downloaded into computer. Was able to view jpeg but was unable to view raw version.At first I attributed this to needing software update for 50d. I brought up a raw file taken with a 20d and the same error message appeared. I could open a 20d file before. This morning I tried again.I did open a 20d file.I tried a 50d file and the error message appeared. Went back to 20d file and the error message appeared saying it cannot open file.I am less than a novice. I purchased elements 6 a year ago and am just starting to try to use it. Are there updates that I need to do .

    Further to my above reply, I have just discovered this on the web:
    Why Adobe doesn't touch proprietary raw files
    Touching the bits of raw image formats that aren't publicly documented well (or at all) seems like a bad idea, bound to end in tears. Microsoft is advising customers not to edit metadata using Vista, saying,
    Microsoft has received reports of compatibility issues with Nikon NEF files after installing version 1.0 of Nikon's raw codec posted in January. Tagging the raw files through Windows Vista or the Microsoft Photo Info tool after the codec is installed appears to cause these files to become unreadable in other applications, such as Adobe Photoshop. [Via]
    I'm sure the problem will get sorted out soon enough, but it does illustrate why Camera Raw and Lightroom insist on using sidecar data files for raw formats other than DNG. It's less convenient, but we've seen far too many conflicts arise from touching metadata in these other formats. DNG was designed with flexible internal storage of metadata in mind, and now Lightroom and Bridge offer conversion to DNG as part of their photo-import processes. (For what it's worth, on my MacBook Pro, converting an 8MP CR2 file to DNG takes roughly 1-1.5 seconds--not a bad price for portability & reduced file size.)

    You will note this this was posed on Feb 12th 2007 and that it appears to still be an issue. Oh dear.
    Sure would be nice to see the link to where you got this.
    This refers to problems using Microsoft software and Vista, not Adobe software and Vista. I believe it is saying that Adobe properly handles both .nef and .dng files. I have no idea how this quote relates to this thread at all.

  • Cannot open Raw images taken with a Nikon 5200 in photoshop cc

    i am trying to open raw images taken with a Nikon 5200 in Photoshop cc but it says that camera model is not supported.  I looked at the Raw plugin version. It is 7.0.0.0.3. In support it said the minimum version is 7.3. I have downloaded the DNG Converter with camera raw 7.3. But it is still say i have version 7.0.0.0.3. Anyone know what to do?

    If the plug-in version is 7.something then you're running Photoshop CS6 since Photoshop CC ships with Camera Raw 8.0 out of the box. Latest version is Camera Raw 8.4.
    The Nikon D5200 has been supported since Camera Raw 7.3 so you can either update CS6 to Camera Raw 7.4 (In Photoshop CS6, Help > Updates) or use Photoshop CC which supports the D5200 out of the box.

  • Display Raw data image with JSF

    Hi,
    I have a raw data image in bytes and I need to display this image using JSF.
    How to do?
    Thanks
    Jamil

    The best approach is to use a servlet that gives you back an image, using setContentType("image/...") and setContentLength(...)

  • I cannot open raw files taken with my Canon Mark III in CS5

    I am running CS5 on a newer computer (2012)... Every time I try to edit raw images taken with my Canon Mark III, a text box appears alerting me that my camera model is not supported by camera raw. I have tried various updates and software installations, but I have been unsuccessful in remedying the problem. Can anyone help or tell me what update/ software to download? I apologize if this thread already exists.

    Canon Mark III do you mean Canon 1D Mark III or Canon 1DS Mark III or Canon 5D Mark III ???
    In any case CS 5  ACR update 6.7 should handle all those cameras.

  • Cannot create XA data source with MS SQL

    Hello,
    I am currently trying to create a datasource with he XA transactions support. The exception is the same when I'm using the SYSTEM_DRIVER (NetWeaver is using the MS SQL 2005) and when I'm using the user-defined MS SQL JDBC driver. The 'regular' (using tag <jdbc-1.x>) datasources are successfully created, the problem appears only for the XA one.
    This is the part of my data-sources.xml responsible for this data source:

    When I'm looking at the \usr\sap\EE5\J00\exe\mssjdbc\sqljdbc.jar file, I can see both these classes (SQLServerXADataSource and SQLServerDataSourceObjectFactory), so the problem is probably somewhere else. As the exception comes from the native method - does it mean, that the XA extension is not installed correctly on the server (as described [here|http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa342335(SQL.90).aspx])?
    Thanks for any help!
    Best Regards,

    Ok, just to share - the solution was as follows:
    remove the object-factory element
    change property name "port" to "portNumber"
    So, the correct data-sources.xml is as follows:
    <data-source>
         <data-source-name>DataSource/SCP</data-source-name>
         <driver-name>SYSTEM_DRIVER</driver-name>
         <init-connections>5</init-connections>
         <max-connections>25</max-connections>
         <sql-engine>Vendor_SQL</sql-engine>
         <jdbc-2.0>
             <xads-class-name>com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerXADataSource</xads-class-name>
             <properties>
                 <property>
                     <property-name>serverName</property-name>
                     <property-value>localhost</property-value>
                 </property>
                 <property>
                     <property-name>databaseName</property-name>
                     <property-value>SCP</property-value>
                 </property>
                 <property>
                     <property-name>portNumber</property-name>
                     <property-value>1433</property-value>
                 </property>
                 <property>
                     <property-name>user</property-name>
                     <property-value>myUser</property-value>
                 </property>
                 <property>
                     <property-name>password</property-name>
                     <property-value>myPassword<property-value>
                  </property>
             </properties>
         </jdbc-2.0>
    </data-source>
    And this works.

  • Read CAN Data message With more Than 64 bits

    Dear All,
    I'm working With CAN card PCI Series 2 with Labview 8.2.1 and Measurement and automation 5.1.
    I'm making measures from an ECU.
    This one (please see piture) is composed with more than 64 bits for one ID.
    I don't found how I can read those Data using "Channel API". Is It possible ?
    On MAX I am not able to creat CAN Task measure with more Than 64 bits...
    It is necessary to use only "Frame API".
    Thanks for repply.

    NI-CAN Channel API is not able to deal with Multi frame messages, so you would need to use the NI-CAN Frame API to read the Multi frame message and do the conversion into physical values on your own.

  • "Unable to save markup: Cannot create output file" message with ISDK

    Hi,
    We have an integration of AutoVue with OpenText Livelink, and we're seeing that if users open a document, and then work on adding mark-ups for a long time (3 hours) without saving the mark-up when the user saves the markup they get an error message "Unable to save markup: Cannot create output file". If they then press the save button they get the out-of-the-box AutoVue 'Save Markup File As' dialog.
    The ISDK DMS integration servlet and VueServlet servlet are both running under Tomcat with 740 minute session timeout set for the servlet.
    When we look at the logs we're not seeing any attempts to save the mark-up, which is confusing.
    It looks as though the link between the AutoVue applet and the DMS has been lost.
    Is it possible to specify session time-outs in the AutoVue applet?
    Is there a way of checking keep-alives are being sent (if they are ever sent)?
    Help appreciated!
    Thanks
    Paul

    AutoVue default timeout is 30 minutes and is being controlled by the option jvueserver.users.timeout (value set in seconds, default is 1800).
    Adding to the jvueserver.properties the following line:
    jvueserver.users.timeout=50400
    would set AutoVue session timeout to 14 hours (longer than Tomcat session).
    If the issue still persists, the AutoVue session timeout is probably not the cause...

  • Cannot send or delete message with many recipients

    I was sending an email to about 150 people from my address book. Mail came back with a warning that the server did not recognize the email addresses. My guess is that there are so many email addresses in the BCC box it thinks its spam (but I'm just guessing). Anyway, there are so many recipients listed that the dialog extends below the bottom of the screen so that the option buttons are unavailable. And, the window does not have a close box, only minimize and full screen (amber and green). I've tried force quitting then restarting Mail but I cannot intercept the email as the app starts up, and so the dialog comes up repeatedly. Anyone know how do I clear this?
    Thanks

    I had the same problem this morning. Hit the return key to close the warning box. Fortunately, the button you need to push is the one that will be activated with the return key.
    As for the problem with sending a message to a large group, I am at a loss. I am considering ditching Mail for this reason and others. It took me hours to get all the email addresses into the address book, and now this crap.
    Anybody have some insight here? Apple? Help? Somebody??

  • Dreamweaver CS4 Cannot get Spry.Data.NestedXMLDataSet with XML to work

    Please help!
    I've created a page in Dreamweaver CS4 with a spry dataset. This works great. I've downloaded Spry.Data.NestedXMLDataSet and installed it but I keep getting an error that nested datasets are not supported.
    Thoughts solutions.
    Thanks,
    M

    I have found the reason that I could not make it work, I did not have the correct JavaScript file installed.
    Having made the correction, here is a code that does work but most likely does not have the formatting that you want. I will leave that up to you.

  • Cannot forward a sms message with a picture and a video

    I received a jpeg with an audio. The audio indicates it's a quick time but when I try to forward the message I can only forward the jpeg. When I highlight the audio it will not allow me to send the audio with the jpeg. Is this normal. It came as an sms not an apple message.

    Close All Open Apps... Perform a Reset and try again...
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.
