I bought an itunes gift card but I cannot determine the redemption code on the back after rubbing off the scratcher. How do I redeem?!

I had the same problem so I decided to try going to website on the back. (DisneyOzMovieandOffers.com). It will take you to a page that says to redeem code, enter the code that is given to you and click enter. It will give you options of where you would like to download it from. Click iTunes and it will give you the correct code to download the movie from iTunes.

I scratched the code off on my itunes gift card, but the security code won't work either. PLEASE HELP!

Cant read code to redeem money from gift card

hi all merry christmas and happy holidays.
i scratched off the back code of my $50 itunes gift card and the middle section is mostly white, and i cant see any letters or numbers on the card.
these are the ones you need in order to redeem, surprise!
i called apple support but they were trying to redirect me to weird numbers so i hung up and decided to try this
so if anyone can help me id appreciate it thank you very much!!

I have a £50 iTunes gift card. I know it can be redeemed in either iTunes, the App Store, iBooks Store or Mac App Store. My question is, can I redeem the code in iTunes and then spend some money on iOS apps, some money on songs and some money on iBooks? The wording on the guidance suggests that you may only be able to use the money in one store, the store in which you redeem the card's code.

My iTunes gift card's redemption code is unreadable. I tried to submit this issue through the online support but the website wouldn't allow me to attach pictures of the card. What can I do now?

I have an iTunes gift card from a parent of my student. When I tried to scratch off the back for the redemption code, the code became unreadable. I tried to submit this problem on Apple's support website and the site asked for pictures of the card (front & back). I took pictures with my iPhone and when I tried to submit it, the website said it wasn't in the right format (my pictures were saved as JPEG files). I tried all of the file extensions acceptable by the website and none worked. I called customer support (real human) and she said that she could not nothing for me since the card was not purchased from iTunes store directly and it may have been from a retailer. So there was nothing Apple could do. I find that surprising since this card has Apple's brand on it and it was a legitimate iTunes card. I can even provide the serial number but the Apple customer support didn't want to hear it. She told me to submit the question as a product feedback via their website so I did and again, I got nothing in return.
I'd like to know if anyone can help me with this issue or if I will need to throw away this $25 gift card that would otherwise be very helpful for the students in my classroom?

When you tried to contact Support with the card's images how were you trying to do it, on your phone or a browser on your computer ? And have you tried a different browser to see if you get the same error message ?
As well as images of the card they might also want an image of its receipt.

ITunes Gift Card-testing redemption code

With a family of five active Apple and iTunes users, it's not uncommon to "find" an iTunes Gift Card in a desk drawer or tucked away on a shelf. In fact, this afternoon I found 4 such cards. Two have not been "scratched" on the back, however the other two are. Is there a way to check the redemption code to see if it has been used, or is still active, without actually redeeming the card if it is still good? Thanks!

Thank you, Dave. Yes, obviously those with "paint" are live. I had two $25 cards that had been scratched and I highly suspected that the kids in the house had redeemed them. I went to my account and logged in one card, and voila - it was redeemed for $25. Not wanting to put $50 on my account (it would take me quite a long while to burn through that many downloads), I was hoping to "test" the second card. Too bad there's no way to test it - that would be a great service modification to the iTunes store programs.

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.
