I am unable to download one secure site
I downloaded it on another computer using IE.
Cannot download it on this computer using IE
Get timed out message. Tried clearing cache and cookies in history.

* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

We have several sites that have SSL Certificates. When the website switches to HTTPS, Firefox still shows our pages with a grey globe. Sites (like Amazon) are showing they are secure displaying HTTPS pages. Other browsers are displaying our pages secure like they should.

"Safari cannot download this file" when I tried dl a .mobileconfig file

Hi,
I have been asked to research deployment of configuration to Ipod touch to determine if our clients will be able to use these devices on our secure network. According to the Enterprise Deployment Guide I should be able to send the Ipod Touch a .mobileconfig file:(http://manuals.info.apple.com/enUS/Enterprise_DeploymentGuide.pdf)
But I'm getting the message "Safari cannot download this file" when I try to download the .mobileconfig file from our internal http portal.
Any advice you have would be much appreciated. Thank you,

There may be an issue with the website or the file, try emailing the profile to an account setup on the iPod touch.
If the issue persists, try resetting or restoring the iPod touch.
You can reset the iPod by holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple logo as described here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305743

Your profile doesn't indicate what iPad you have. If you are trying to download via 3G, there is a 20MG limit and Pages is 87.9 MG, so it's too large to download over 3G. You will need to download it it iTunes on you computer.
Are you sure you are looking in the correct place in iTunes for the download? Can you try to download again on your computer without getting the "Buy" button?

"File download - security warning" when running a report

Hi all,
Few of our users are having an error on their PCs when trying to run a report in Internet Explorer 8 with Adobe Reader 10.1.3 installed on their PCs. The error is:
"File Download - Security Warning"
Do you want to save this file, or find a program online to open it?
Name: rwservlet
Type: Unknown File Type
Find Save Cancel
Other users are able to run the reports. They have IE8 and Adobe Reader 10.1.2 installed. Any ideas why this problem might occur?

Macbook Pro cannot connect to the internet even when others can

Hi! Please help me. We have an internet WIFI connection in our office but only my MacBook Pro cannot connect even when I entered the correct password. My Iphone and Ipad work just fine. It says "connection timeout" but all other laptops can connect. I tried network diagnostics already and it always say "connection timeout". I dont know what to do anymore.

Yes, and when I open the Network Utility it shows a working IP address, and a 54Mb/s speed from the wireless router. It even shows the shared computers from my roomates. But when I try to access the internet it does not load anything on Safari or Firefox ( or any other internet application for that matter). It is completely unconnected. YET, As soon as I activate the AirPort card on the top right where I have my signal strength, it shows on the Network Utility information that there are 'packages' being sent and received, and I have NO programs open what so ever, I have closed everything except finder and network utility... Does this mean I am being hacked, or have some sort of Trojan or something in my computer? I ran an antivirus that my school provided, called Virex by McAfee, it came out clean except it says it cannot read one file.
I tried repairing my disk, and that did not work either. I did the Ram reset like you suggested, but that also did not work. I doubt it being a hardware error. I am going to try to connect it to an ethernet cable to see if that will work. Then I will let you know what happens with that, but that would still not be a solution since I need it wireless, cause the router is in another part of the house.

I have been through all of the above, and still will not connect to Barclaycard withthe same error message as in above post. What's next, deintall firefox and reinstall? Could it be some problem with VPN software, as interestingly on my works supplied machine, neither IE or Firefox will connect to this site (but all others) when I'm outside the VPN, but when I'm inside, IE5 will connect to all sites including Barclaycrd, but not firefox....could it be a conflict between IE5 and firefox? This is driving me nuts
