I have purchased Photoshop Essentials 10. When I click on the download link on my order page I get the following error message:

I believe you are referring to Photoshop Elements 10.
Please try using a different browser and try downloading the application and let us know if it solves the problem.

You should be able to find the serial number for the software thru your Adobe account online. I am not familiar with the name Photoshop Essentials so I am not sure if there is such a program available to download. Do you happen to mean Photoshop Elements? If you are unable to find your serial number, your only hope will be to contact Adobe Support by chat or phone to see if they can provide it to you. THey might not be able to if you are unable to prove you purchased the software.

What updates are you trying to download?
The last update was 9.0.3 - check by loading the editor and going to Help -> About Photoshop Elements
The last supported Camera raw is ACR 6.5 - check by loading the editor and going to Help -> About Plug-ins -> Camera Raw
Do you have a reason to update?

When downloading a "Purchased" Photoshop package and you get an "Error 6", how do you actually get to speak with someone at Adobe? The program appeared to download properly and requested that I restart my computer, which I did, it indicated that I was experiencing an "Error 6" - and despite all of my efforts I could not find a single screen that would take me to a person at Adobe to assist me. It referred me to this source, and unfortunately I have a very unique situation that possibly only they could answer. Any help you could give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hey everybody,
I also was experiencing the unknown error -42018 when attempting to download purchased music. Additionally, I was stuck in an endless authorization loop when attempting to play previously purchaed music. All this started when I installed the latest iTunes software 7.0.2.
I run windows XP Pro, and unlike the majority of users I actually set it up correctly with a dedicated administrator account, and regular user accounts instead of just running as admin all the time. For me, that was the cause of the problem.
The new version of iTunes software required FULL CONTROL privilages on the iTunes and iPod install directories for all user accounts that were using the program. (Previous versions worked fine, so this is a new thing.) Once I provided those permissions, iTunes worked correctly. Follow this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304040 for information on how to provide FULL CONTROL to every user account.

the songs appear on lightgray color on my itunes but i cannot play or download them again.

- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
If you can't log into Settings>iTunes and App stores with your new ID them mean there is a problem. Try restting the password and try to sign in again.

Can you sign in with the new ID on your computer?
