Cannot Download Adobe Muse CC with Creative Cloud App

I have tried several times to download Adobe Muse CC with my Creative Cloud app. No big problems with all the other programs I've downloaded but cannot get Muse downloaded.
I keep getting Exit Code 7. There are 3 errors with exit codes of 1612 and 255 and do not see an error code for the third error.
I was trying to paste the Summary of Errors here but will not let me paste anything.
Basically the download fails and is always looking for Nero.Express.msi for some odd reason, or at least odd to me.
I tried downloading also from a direct link for the latest version of Muse and it also failed to install.
I keep reading about uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Air, WHY???
Any help here? Not sure why I was able to download numerous other programs and cannot get this one.
Thanks.

Hi wynter32466,
Which OS are you using?

  • Download/Install Error with Creative Cloud App

I have Windows 7... I have been a Creative Cloud member since the beginning... I know what I am doing. Anyways... suddenly, the Creative Cloud app that keeps track of your apps and updating them, etc. is jacked up. As far as I can tell, nothing changed on my end... perhaps Creative Cloud updated itself and caught a bug? When you go to the Apps tab, it says, "Download error, the Creative Cloud installation is no longer functioning, please uninstall and download again..." which I did twice now... rebootted and all that good stuff... the other tabs work - ie. Home, Assets and Community... and yes, I am signed in properly and have an active account. This isn't the first time this app has been a problem... Adobe has seemed to have issues with this app for awhile now - off and on... and from what I can see in the various forums, it's not just me with these issues.

WebWorxTech which error are you currently experiencing?  Is it only a download error or are you still prompted to uninstall?  If you are prompted to uninstall then please see Error "Failed to Install" Creative Cloud Desktop application - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/failed-install-creative-cloud-desktop.html.
If you are continuing to receive download errors then please see Error downloading Creative Cloud applications - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-downloading-cc-apps.html.

  • How do I re-download Acrobat pro XI when Creative Cloud app thinks it's still installed?

I've been having no end of grief with Creative Cloud on my late 2009 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 iMac, running OS X 10.9.2. It slows my finder redraw down so that sometimes it takes 5 minutes to display the contents of a folder in the finder.
So a couple of months ago I removed the Creative Cloud app from my machine, and things started running smoothly again except I was unable to update the rest of my CC apps.
Needing to update the Camera Raw plugin for Photoshop CC, I reluctantly reinstalled the Creative Cloud app, which refused to recognise that I had a bunch of Adobe apps installed (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Bridge) ... all except Lightroom, which it recognised. So I uninstalled all my apps and re-downloaded them through Creative Cloud so CC would 'see' that I had the apps. Not so easy with Acrobat XI: I had problems opening it so I went through the 'Uninstal Acrobat XI' app in the Acrobat folder, and now Creative Cloud thinks it's still installed and therefore I can't download a fresh copy.
Should I go through the rigmarole of uninstalling Creative Cloud again and run the risk of it losing track of all my other apps once again, or is there another way to work around this? Every time I try to download from the Adobe site it launches Creative Cloud...
Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me please.

With the help of Adobe support, I signed out of Creative Cloud and signed back in. Although I'd done this yesterday with no result, it worked this time and I'm currently reinstalling Acrobat.

  • What tablet do you use with Creative Cloud / Apps?

Hello, I am look for a tablet to run Creative Cloud apps. Does anyone have first have experience? Comparing the iPad 2 Air to the Galaxy and possibly the Surface Pro (... but Surface that gets into a different price range). This would supplement my current desktop / laptop workflow.
    Thanks! Dave

If I had the choice (and the cash), I'd probably go with the Surface Pro or the forthcoming Surface 3 (a budget-conscious version of the Surface Pro). The reason is because of full desktop app support like Photoshop CC and full access to your assets on Creative Cloud. You'd pretty much mirror your desktop experience with a little less power and be mobile.
I use a Google Nexus 7 2013 myself; it's great for what it is (as are most of Apple and Google's devices) and apps designed for it like Photoshop Touch are great on it. There's just one problem: It isn't desktop Photoshop.

  • Cannot download photoshop cc 2014 from creative cloud

i have the creative cloud subscription.
Photoshop cc does not work at all any more.
I am trying to download photoshop cc 2014. It will not get past 0%.
    Please advise.

I recommend that you uninstall all adobe apps for that version including the manager
Make sure you are connected via eithernet not wifi
    Then follow these steps:
You need to log into creative.adobe.com
    Click Download Center
Scroll down the page to Creative Cloud
Click on creative cloud to download it, then install it.
The Creative cloud (adobe manager) Should open in the middle of your screen.
    Click on Apps
Scroll down to the app you want to install and click the install button
Once the manager says it is done, you can start your app like you normally do with any other app.

  • Downloading apps on Mac OS X 10.8.4 with Creative Cloud App Causes Destructive Feedback on Firewall

Okay, here's the network profile, workstation profile, and symptoms of the problem.
    Site Profile
    Network
Asymmetrical 22 Mbit inbound / 2 Mbit outbound DSL terminated by a RFC 1483 Bridge into a pfSense 2.0.3-RELEASE (amd64) Firewall
    Hardware profile of firewall: INTEL CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz (3292.54-MHz K8-class CPU)
    INTEL Motherboard: INTEL DH61CR
Motherboard Native Network Adapter: <Intel(R) PRO/1000 Network Connection 7.3.2> to LAN Network at MTU 1200 (MTU accommodates IPSEC tunnel overhead)
PCIe Network Adapter: <RealTek 8169/8169S/8169SB(L)/8110S/8110SB(L) Gigabit Ethernet> to WAN Network at MTU 1500
    Workstation
    MacBook Pro 17", Mac OS X 10.8.4
Connected to network by CAT6e Ethernet cable to 8-port 16Gbit-fabric Gigabit Switch
Internal 512GB SSD with Trim Enabled
    SYMPTOM
Under normal conditions, with network under diagnostic constraint, inbound traffic on WAN is within 10% tolerance with outbound tranffic on LAN
In effect, under every circumstance if the inbound traffic on WAN is 1 Mbit, then the outbound traffic on LAN is 0.9 to 1.1 Mbit
When software is selected to be installed in the Creative Cloud Application [Version 2.0.0.183 (2.0.0.183)] the inbound traffic on the WAN instantly shoots to 22Mbit, while the outbound traffic on LAN remains at 1Mbit. This behaviour can be repeatedly demonstrated by stopping and starting the download and installation of software in the Creative Cloud Applicaiton.
Removal of all proxy and IPSEC functionality on the pfSense Firewall does not change this behaviour.
As well, it took two days with a completely crippled network to get Photoshop CC installed at a few percent per hour.
While the CC App is downloading, pages fail to load and IMAP connections are dropped. Once again completely diagnostically isolated to only while the CC App is downloading.
It took over a week to figure out what was killing our network, I have extensively diagnosed this problem and can say with certainty that CC App is the culprit.
Can anyone see any reason why this network configuration should be so problematic for downloading and installing CC applications?

Although that document doesn't specifically apply to network protocols, it turns out that it was enough to trip over a mistake in my original testing of the Adobe CC downloading and installing problem.
In my initial post I state that I tested the issue without Proxy on the firewall, however, I tested it again this morning, and removing the Proxy fixed the problem. I can't see a way to go back up and edit my original post so I'm putting this here in red to make it clear.
ADOBE Creative Cloud (downloading and installing) is NOT COMPATIBLE with Squid Proxy 3.1.20 pkg 2.0.6 on pfSense 2.0.3 (amd64).
Currently I have removed the package from the firewall. I will later review the guide and see if we can install and configure it in a fashion that doesn't conflict.
    Thank you,
    Kirk

  • Problem with Creative Cloud Apps

    Hi,
Everytime an update for creative cloud is released it looses what software I have installed. Basically the app says most of my software needs to be installed but it is installed and I can run all the apps such as dreamweaver from my PC.  The annoying part is I would have to download all my apps again just for them to show up in creative cloud but this seems a total waste of time since they are working. My main reason for wanting this working is because I am don't know if anything needs updated. Also I am not keen on re-downloading everything as I thinking if they update creative cloud again I will loose it all again.
This has happened 2-3 times over the last 6 months
Does anyone know a solution to this?
    Thanks

Please make sure that the Creative coud app is running as an administrator if that is fine then try to peform the following steps:
Mac OS X 10.7 and later:
    Remove AdobeAAMDetect.plugin from HD/library/internet plugins/.
    Relaunch the browser.
    Go to https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
Sign in with your Adobe ID and password and download the CC Desktop App.
Please see this thread http://forums.adobe.com/message/5519881 for more information.
    Thanks!

  • Creative cloud app keeps crashing - help - cannot dowload anything...

Please help me with Creative Cloud App - on WIN& PC - it keeps stopping.

Well, after much more web trawling, I got it to work.
After uninstalling the Creative Cloud app, I downloaded and installed the latest Adobe Account Management (AAM) app from here.
    http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=4773&fileID=4437
Ran it as Administrator, it updated my existing version, then I reinstalled the Creative Cloud App, and installed an application, it took about 10-15 minutes, but up and running now.
    Thanks everyone.

  • Lightroom trial without Creative Cloud app

    Hi all,
I'm considering Lightroom and I'd like to download the trial version. My machine is getting a bit old (2011 MacBook Pro), so a "try before you buy" seems like a good idea.
However, I don't really feel like installing the Creative Cloud app just for the trial as I'm only interested in the standalone version of Lightroom.
Does anyone know where I can download a trial version of Lightroom?
    Thanks in advance!
    Kind regards,
    Andra

Thanks, but unfortunately clicking on the "Photoshop Lightroom 6" link on the page you recommended leads me to the product page for Lightroom 6 (http://www.adobe.com/nl/products/photoshop-lightroom.html). Clicking "Download" on that page downloads the installer for the Creative Cloud App, which is what I'm trying to avoid.

When I open Muse, I get a message that a new update is available.  When I hit install it just closes and nothing happens.  Then I got a message  I needed Adobe Creative Cloud App to resolve the issue.  I downloaded a copy of Creative Cloud desktop but it says that my Muse is up to date.  It was last updated in May but you have a new update today and it will not update.  I thought maybe I am not suppose to have the Creative Cloud update because all I have is the individual app Muse and the photography program.  So I uninstalled the CC desktop.  Then when I open Muse it says I need the CC desktop to help with the update.  So I get stopped either way.  Now I also had a Pre-Release Muse on my computer and I don't know if that complicated things.  Please advise.

All future installs/updates of Muse (and most other Adobe apps) are through the Creative Cloud desktop app. Thus you do need to have it installed.
Are you on Windows or Mac? What OS version?
