Cannot download and install Flash Player tried numerous times and it says installed

Adobe Flash Player / Version: 11.9.900.117
Laptop running Windows 32-bit XP / English M.S.I.E.

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking the following link: Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer) and selecting "Save target as".
Save it to your Downloads folder - DO NOT run it yet.
Reboot your system.
BEFORE opening anything else, go to your Downloads folder and run the installer.
If IE still gives you trouble, see: Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer and ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer to be sure it's enabled and ActiveX isn't blocking content.

I had the exact same issue, being on a mac. If you are on a mac and the connection error message occurs, then use this link http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_osx.dmg
It allows you to download it offline, which is what I used.

1.        Uninstall the adobe 11.0 flash player first even if it shows as a recent install
2.       2. Install adobe flash player 11.0 and make certain you download from the Adobe website not a liason website! Important!
3.       Once installed fully and the prompt tells you that you have successfully installed adobe flash player 11.0 …
4.       YOU must RESTART your computer regardless of what the prompt states at this point in time
5.       Then when you have successfully completed shutdown/ restart and your computer reboots to normal operation…
6.       You may receive or you may not receive a prompt stating that something new has been installed on your computer
7.       If you receive a prompt after restart follow the prompt and do as it instructs you to.
8.       Please contact me if you continue to have issues or problems …

The password that's being requested (required) is your user account password ON YOUR SYSTEM (not for Adobe). You CANNOT install without an administrator account, and you CANNOT set up an administrator account without a password.

Exactly where did you download Flash from, if you did not download it from

you did not get an authorized version.
If you did and it still does not work then you should be in touch with one of the Flash Player or Adobe help forums, because it's an Adobe product they would know best how to troubleshoot issues.

Almost every day i am playing one zinga game or another.during an upload of an game it will freeze and i will be asked to download the newest adobe flash player so the game will function properly.the rest of that day every thing will be fine.the next day the same thing will happin again.the download always works fine and the games all function fine after the download.this has happined four times now.i am an little confused and concerned.

windows seven with all of the up dates to this time point.i use
internet explorer ie9.but i also use google chrome and am finding my game play to work just fine on google.also i was just trying to take an survey and the site told me that i did not have the latest flash player installed and was asking me to download it.that would make it about eight times now.

Flash Installer cannot download. "Adobe Flash Player could not be installed."

Flash Installer cannot download. Finally get the message, "Adobe Flash Player could not be installed." I already uninstalled the old copy, now I have no Flash Player.

My issue was identical.... days of frustrating downloads and initializing but no installation........ UNTIL I chose to not use the default installer and chose 'Save File'. Now I have the latest Flash installed in OS 10.8.5 no problems !!
This time a long download of 16MB arrived in the downloads folder that actually worked.
Prior to this, all downloads were around 1.6MB and there was no .dmg in the package.
I got my download under where it says "Still having problems?"

Cannot download new adobe flash player upgrade

I just tried to download the newest Adobe Flash Player Upgrade by going to the Adobe website. The Adobe Flash Player Installer appeared in my downloads file. But when I double click it I get a Mac warning window opens that says "Can't be opened because it was not downloaded from the Mac App Store." When I go to the Mac App store and search for Adobe Flash Player, it doesn't exist there. How do I get it or is there another way to be able to watch video on the internet especially from sites like you tube and vimeo, but also sometimes on other sites. Do I have to keep the older version indefinitly and risk not getting security updates?

    System Preferences > Security & Privacy
    Unlock the lock, if you have to.
    Allow apps downloaded from:
    Select “Mac App store and identified developers”.
    Quit System Preferences and try.

How to install flash player with safari 7 and OSX Mavericks

flash 13 refuses to install on brand new imac with Mavericks and Safari. Any ideas on how to get Flash installed would be much appreciated

    Follow the prompts and install it.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.

Have installed Flash player millions of times but still can't get BBC IPlayer (not for months)

This is asked and answered frequently... a simple search of the forums would have revealed that disabling any Anti-Virus and Firewall software on the computer prior to downloading will rectify the issue.

I bought an iPhone 5 yesterday and every time I try to restore my iPhone, I get error 21. I've tried numerous times and have tried things on the internet but still no luck. I have the latest iTunes update, anyone have any suggestions?

Or the OP could try actually following Apple's documentation for troubleshooting and solving this very simple problem instead of uninstalling, reinstalling, installing old versions of software, etc...

If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.
