Cannot download any Apps even though I put in the correct password
I cannot download any Apps from my I-Pad or I-Phone,even though my Pasword is correct.I hit upload,then password is required,then the screen goes back to upload.
I have the same problem since this morning, when my Ipod touch (version 4.2.1) unexpectedly asked me for the network's password. Entering the password does not help, the message "Unable to join..." keeps appearing.
Last evening I was prompted to update, and did, Safary, Quicktime and Itunes, while my Ipod was connected to the PC. I have tried everything suggested above except restoring the Ipod from backup via Itunes.

It really sounds like the account on your iPhone is different than the one on your computer but based upon your posts, that's probably not it. I plugged my iphone 4s into my mac to sync it and it wouldnt allow me to do so and says I have no more gb available, but again I have nothing on my phone and have barely anything synced. More than 80% is filled with documents and data???
If Other (the yellow bar) is too big something is corrupted. The only solution (that I know of) is to restore from your most recent backup using iTunes (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766).

I cannot connect to the network even thought I am typing in the password on my belkin router
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

I've tried everything... Turning it off and on, rebooting, opening the document on iCloud... It continues to tell me the document "can't be opened". Help!! This is a really important document
I'm not sure if this will help, but I had the same problem. My password was correct.... I was going crazy. One time I typed the password and automatically touched the space bar after the word before I hit " Done" and it worked. I'm not sure why a space is part of my password but that must have been how I set it like typing a sentence it's just automatic. Good luck!

With some routers, during that first set up it asks you for the password, but what it really wants is the full security code, not the password. I have seen this many times. Go back to the router and get full code. It is usually a
Ong meaningless string. If you cannot find it, reset the router to make it generate a new one. When you trymto join the network on the pad, use that and not the password. See if that helps.
By the way, once you join, it will remember, and you will not need the string again unless you do a full restore or 'forget' the network. -
I am setting up my new iphone 5s using a back up from icloud. Problem arises when asked for Apple id and password the second time for store purchases. It shows my old expired Apple id (my old email address). There is no option to change the id and even when I put in the correct password for the old id (used originally) it kicks me out with the message ""Your Apple ID or password is incorrect" .. this is true as my apple id is wrong but I cant change it. Anyone know what I should do. Dont have access to my old deleted email account. Thanks

Many thanks a VERYNovice ipadderThe iPad 1 can be updated to iOS 5.1.1. You can see what level you are running in Settings > General > About > Version.
If you are not at iOS 5.1.1 and if you are have iOS 4 (or earlier) there is no Software Update in Settings. That feature was first added in iOS 5.
To update you will have to connect your iPad to iTunes on a computer (preferably the one you sync with and backup to).

If you are on level 5 but not at 5.1.1 you can update to 5.1.1 using Settings > General > Software Update.
There are still many Apps which will run on iOS 5. Also, some developers have older levels still available for the iPad 1. -

Go to Solution.I had the same msg come up, go in2 setup, options, date and time. Now have a fiddle about with these settings. U mite have 2 change ur time zone 2 another country in the same time zone as u if that makes sense? Worked 4 me and many more people I've read about on here.
