Cannot download, but Safari Can

the website: teamaloha.info has files that can be downloaded, however firefox was unable to download them and safari could. I control-clicked (I'm on a Mac) and on firefox, there was no option to save the file, on Safari, I could. In the past, I could download with Firefox. In order for you to troubleshoot, you will need to know the password for the files - "aloha" is the password.
In Safari, I get the option to "Download linked file" in Firefox, I do not.
In Safari, when I click on the image representing the linked file, it takes me to a place where I can "save as" the entire file. In Firefox, it takes me to the larger html image of the thumbnail, and the only thing I can save is the image.

You may have a corrupted Download file. Go to your Finder>Your User Account>Library>Safari folder. There, move the Downloads.plist file to the trash, then restart Safari and try a download.
If that doesn't work, I have other suggestions for you to try.

What iOS are you currently running?
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

It has been available at some online retailers (Amazon) and EBay – but only as part of the discontinued Final Cut Studio suite. It would be cost--prohibitive to buy and there are other more cost-effective solutions. Depending on what you need to do, MPEG Streamclip might be a (free) solution. There are others – Episode, for example, which is not cheap at $500– but less than haf the cost of buying an used copy of FCS.
Another approach (and the one I would follow in your situation) would be to install Mavericks on an external, bootable drive. Run a copy of FCP 10.1 and Compressor 4.1 from that drive.

The same thing is happening with my wife's iPhone 4 and we can't figure it out. When placing a call, the screen freezes and she needs to restart the entire phone.
She upgraded to 5.01 this morning over the air while it was plugged in. Immediately afterwards, this problem started happening. We've tried restarting the phone several times and plugged in to iTunes but there's nothing she can do do to fix it.

Odonnells52 you will still need to install Adobe Acrobat Professional prior to being able to make edits to PDF or utilize Acrobat. By default the installation files have been saved to your download folder.
If you continue to face difficulties with the Adobe Download Assistant then please see Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant.
You can also download the installation files directly from Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X if you are unable to locate the downloaded installation files.

If you're not sure where some of the content you see in iTunes is stored, iTunes will also show you what it knows about your media in the Get Info window.
Select an item in iTunes and choose File > Get Info.
You can right-click on the 'Where' to get the option to Show in Finder (Mac OS X) or Show in Windows Explorer (Windows).

Tap Settings > General > About then swipe down, you'll see Available.
Make sure there's at least 500MB's of storage space.

What kind of attachment you are trying to download? After downloading, it should appear with the icon of the program that mostly likely will open it.
Some formats are not supported...

You need to either upgrade your computer to Mac OS X 10.6 or download the content directly from Apple's servers instead of your computer; for content not purchased from iTunes, the second option requires signing up for iTunes Match.
