Cannot download Elements 11 - website thinks IE10 is earlier than IE4 [was: Downloading]

I want to download Elements 11 purchased earlier. Website refuses, says my Internet Explorer is earlier than IE 4. My IE is 10. What can I do?

It's a common issue with IE10 and some Adobe products. One theory is that Adobe's download manager seems to interpret IE10's browser ID string as IE1.
Solution is to use Compatibility View in IE10 (so Adobe's download manager thinks it's IE9 or IE8 or IE7).

Alternatively use a different browser.

OK thanks I will try that. I just don't understand why I still can't download new videos as I've deleted the software I installed and I've changed my camera settings back to what they were before when I could download into iPhoto. iPhoto is not a download and view program - it is a photo management database program that imports photos - Image Capture is a download program - Preview is a view program
The default program to download your photos is set in the preference panel of either iPhoto or image capture

*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

I need to download an version of Quartz Composer earlier than 3.1

Does anyone know where a link is on the apple website? I updated my dev tools last night; the latest version of Composer requires a graphics card I do not have.

Try this:
backup the device and restore it as new with iTunes on the computer, the update comes automatically with restoring.
Use: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 , don't forget to backup! You'll be able to restore the backup during configuration.
If you get specific error messages/codes in iTunes when updating/restoring, check this: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3694
If you're not able to restore the device, this one might help: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
Using that last article will erase everything on the device, so make sure you have a backup!

The Canon 5D Mk 111 was supported from LR 4.1, see the link below. Just update LR to the latest version. See link below
