Cannot download flashplayer !!!!!!!!!!

Why? I keep getting message to close internet explorer but it is never open! I have downloaded the install application 1000x and closed all applications but contiue to get the same message regardless of what I do. I have looked at 1000 forums and still no solutions to my problem. What is wrong with Adobe flashplayer. It is not my firewall either obtw so don't even go there. I cannot unsinstall older version of flashplayer because I get the same message to close internet explorer so I am between a rock and a hardspot because I cannot see any video whatsoever due to this issue I have had for over 2 weeks. What is the problem?

Pat:
Thanks for the suggestions, but so far no go, despite being able to uninstall the older version and install the latest (11.9..)version of AFP. I can receive audio but no video and keep getting prompted to download the latest version of adobe FP every time I try to open CNN video, You Tube, etc. So far I have:
·         Closed all IE windows per your suggestion and it worked but after downloading the AFP latest version I still could not see video of any kind using IE or Google Chrome
·         Tried uninstalling and re-installing the latest version of AFP and still had the same result.
·         Saved download to flash drive and ran it from there – no luck.
·         Re-booted after installation and uninstall – no luck.
·         Checked all processes to be sure nothing was interfering with download of AFP and that worked. I was able to complete the installation but it would not work once it was downloaded after several attempts.
I’m stumped. I’ve been using this laptop for 2 years and never had a problem with video up until a couple weeks ago. It just disappeared, yet when I went into Programs, it was still in my applications – so, AFP was always present and working just fine….and then all of the sudden for no reason, it wouldn’t allow me to see video of any kind. My antivirus works fine and have never had a problem with malaware or any other bugs.

  • Cannot download Flashplayer 11

    I have downloaded Java.
My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit operating system.
    Have Internet Exploerer 11 installed.
I tried downloading Adobe Flashplayer numerous times, even following instructions and still I am not able to make it work.  If I click on a video on yahoo, it tells me I have to download Adobe Flashplayer.
Could someone give me very simple instructions, I am not a computer savant.
Please keep it simple, would appreciate it.
    Thanks for your help.

IE11 has caused problems at dozens of websites (Yahoo, Facebook, BBC and ESPN are just a few), because it isn't recognized. Microsoft released this junk October 18, and became aware of the problems almost immediately. Six weeks later they have yet to do more than acknowledge the problem. Their recommendation is to enable Compatibility View for pages that have problems, and "pretend" you're not using IE11. Problem is; that has very limited success. I'm not big on "pretending", so I recommend you actually use another browser:
    Firefox
    Opera
    Safari
    Chrome
ANY of those will work better than IE11. Chrome has its own Flash Player built in, but the others will require the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers)

Cannot download Adobe Flashplayer, window opens and stops at 25%.  Safari 8.0.4, MacBook Air 2013.  How do I update Flash?

Install Flash Player in Safe Mode.
    Shut down the computer.
Press the power button. Immediately after you hear the startup sound, press and hold the Shift key.
The Shift key should be pressed as soon as possible after startup, but not before the startup sound.
Release the Shift key when you see the Apple logo on the screen. Startup will take longer than usual.
Login to your account. Launch Safari.
Enter this  address in the Safari address bar manually.
    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
    Follow the prompts. Install it.
Once done, quit Safari and restart the computer from  in the menu bar.

    Safari > Preferences > Security

    Enable it.

  • I have blocked plug-in.  I cannot download Adobe flashplayer

I have blocked plug-in. Cannot download Adobe Flashbplayer.  cannot access bridgebase.com

    Hello eadesgirl,
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you are experiencing a "blocked plugin" message on your Mac when viewing certain web sites.
To address this situation, be sure to follow the steps mentioned here:
Adobe Flash Player updates available for OS X on December 12, 2014 - Apple Support
If you're using an out-of-date version of the Adobe Flash Player plug-in, you may see the message “Blocked plug-in,” “Flash Security Alert,” or “Flash out-of-date” when attempting to view Flash content in Safari.
Clicking the indicator displays a message that Adobe Flash Player is out-of-date:
To continue viewing Flash content, update to a later version of Adobe Flash Player:
Click the Download Flash button. Safari opens the Adobe Flash Player page on the Adobe website.
Follow the instructions on the Adobe website to download and install the latest version of the plug-in.
If you need to use an older version of Flash Player, you can use Internet plug-in management in Safari to run the plug-in in unsafe mode for websites that you trust.
Contact Adobe if you need help downloading, installing, or using Adobe Flash Player.
    Sincerely,
    Jeremy

  • Cannot Download Flash Player 9

I have a MAC OS 10.3.9 1.6GHz Power PC G 5 and cannot download the Flash Player 9. I get an error message that reads:
The page “Macromedia - Flash Player” has content of MIME type “application/x-shockwave-flash”, but you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type. A plug-in should be available on this page:
    https://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer
Do you want to open the page?
Each time I go to that web page I and try to download it will not work. My kids use Nick Jr and no longer can get on. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you for your time and help.
    gg

I'm not sure why you posted your question in the OS 9 Forum instead of the OS 10.3 (Panther) forum, but FlashPlayer 9 for OS X is available at this site.
    http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1ProdVersion=ShockwaveFlash
OS 9 can't use anything later than FlashPlayer 7 (version 7.0.r70).

  • Cannot download Adobe reader. What is error cod 150105?

I have a very old laptop. It runs windows XP-32, with Service Pack 3 loaded on it (and those are the only numbers I know connected to my computer).  I run Flashplayer 11 and Java 7.11 on it.  my Internet connection is Internet explorer. It cannot run chrome without crashing and firefox runs very slow. I have the standard Windows essentials anti-virus and firewall. IT does not have a Wi-Fi card in it and only 2 USB ports, which are both first generation and so have a slow data transfer rates.
I do run disk cleanup and defrag often as well as the anti-virus after each Internet session.
That should give you an idea of the specs on my poor old laptop.
    Now to the problem:
I cannot download and install any version of Adobe reader.  I have gone back all the way to Adobe Reader 6 and still get the same message.
"Adobe Reader cannot compete its installation. please refer to the minimum system requirements.
Go to adobe.com/go/reader_system_regs. Error code 150105."
I could not access that webpage. I cannot find that error code.
Funny thing is, one of my electronic devices I bought came with Adobe Reader 7 on a CD-rom, and that installed just fine But it won't download the upgrades.
I am at a loss. I need a PDF reader.
What is going on with my poor computer?
What do I need to do to my computer to allow me to download  and install Adobe Reader XI?

I suggest that you download and run the Acrobat Cleaner Tool http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Next download and run the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ - all availabel Reader versions 9.5, 10.1, and 11.0 should run fine on Windows XP.

  • I cannot download books. It says cannot reach fulfillment server, please check internet connection. I have rebooted, upgraded ADE, turned internet off and on, still cannot connect.

I Cannot download books from the library.  The error message says "cannot connect to the fulfillment server.  Please check your internet connection and try again".  I have tried again. I have upgraded ADE.  I have turned the internet off and on again.  Nothing works.  I see the same question from others here in the forum.  Does anyone have a solution?

You can install Java from here: http://www.java.com/en/<br><br>
You also need to update your Flash installation since the one you have at the moment exposes your system to attack. It's a similar story for Adobe Reader.

  • Cannot download Flash Player 10

I have been unable to download the latest flash player, so
half of my websites no longer work. I get the error "Cannot
download dll". I have called adobe customer service twice, and they
have been unable to help. They gave me a url to download it
www.adobe.com/go/full_flashplayer_win_msi/ but this gives me the
error "Error 2330 C/Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash Get last error:
1392" and will not install. I was told to try the forum as customer
service could not help and there is no techical support.
I am using Windows Vista and IE 7. I have java installed.
    Any help would be appreciated!!

I use to be able to watch full episodes on www.abc.com and
www.cwtv.com (I did on 10/12) but now it won't work. Now both
websites say I need Adobe Flash Player. So I go to download it and
even though it says "Download Successful". So I tried to go back
into those websites to watch episodes and it still says I need to
download it. I shut down my whole computer thinking perhaps I
needed to reboot in order for it to take and effect and still
nothing. When I go to "add and remove" programs it isn't there
either. I even followed the instruction (I'm not sure if I did it
correctly) regarding installing "SubInACL" and downloading
"reset_fp10.zip file" but it still is not working. Someone please
    help!
Well.. both ABC and the CW use the Move Networks player. This
player somehow involves Flash Player, but I don't know how, it's a
proprietary thing (abc and move and i think cw are all owned by
    Disney).
So if it's just trouble with the full episodes, your best
choice is to contact those networks.
To determine if this is more of a Move player thing or a
Flash Player 10 thing, just go to the root of
    http://www.cwtv.com/ and see if all
the Flash Player content on the home page FP10 is working. They use
lots of Flash on the site (but not for the full episodes, that's
    move player)
So we need to clarify a few things here
-- is it -only- the full episodes that fail?
-- what OS and browsers are you trying?
-- do other Flash sites work (youtube, hulu, etc..)
