Cannot download latest flash player

XP service pack 3, firefox 26.00 as browser
cannot download latest version of flashplayer, already uninstalled previous version !! when i hit the download button i go to the homepage, from the homepage i select download, get to download page, hit the button and end up back at the home page, all i'm doing is getting dizzy in going round in circles. any thoughts, any direct link to the execute file ?

Use the offline insrtaller:
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Click the one for the browser you use.
Close your browser and then run it.

As far as getting Adobe Flash goes, you can download it here http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html. Once it's installed, there should be a Preference which you can click on to force an update or to allow updates automatically.

Can you check to see if you have "enable plug-ins" checked in Safari's preferences dialog, under the security tab? If not, enable it and check.
It seems to be a browser specific issue. Try a different browser like chrome or firefox, check if it works there.

Help downloading latest flash player

I have been having problems with trying to download latest free flash player. I have tried different ways that I know but nothing will help should I just delet it and start all over again so it doesn't show that I have flash player just not the latest one?

I downloaded the zip but I can't find the file or number to do the rest. I'm not very good with computer so what you are saying to me I'm trying to do but don't know where to find things. Sorry but am trying to do it but I don't know. The only Adobe showing is the shockwave and in file if I was in the right place doesn't even show there in file. When I went to do mange add on only shockwave shows and it's said it's enabled. Does this make since(sp) what I'm saying about it?

Cannot install latest flash player, previous adobe download had lots of pups

Clamwin found and quarantined lots of infected (more than 60 adobe) files. I deleted them from the clamwin quarantine and then from my recycle folder. Then I got lots of "unresponsive scripts". Then, I tried to download and install the latest adobe flash player (because I thought the deleted infected files might be adobe flash files...they were definitely some kind(s) of adobe files. Now, I am trying to download and reinstall the latest flash player to remedy my lot of "unresponsive scripts", but I cannot complete its installation. I get a message that instructs me to close Mozilla Firefox...which is not open.
What's a Mother to do?

The plug-in version of Flash Player is for browsers other than Internet Explorer.

Cannot download Adobe Flash Player on Equium M40X-189

I am unable to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player on my Equium M40X 189.
This is needed for many applications, and has recently become absolutely essential as BBC radio now only broadcasts on the internet via BBC i-player, which I cannot use without Flash Player.
I searched for help on this problem a while back and the advice then was that the BIOS needed to be updated.
I have today checked with the official Toshiba site, and it seems my BIOS is the current version and does not need updating.
Is there anyone out there who can help me solve this problem?

Sorry - perhaps I didn't spell out the problem correctly. I have tried downloading from all sort of pages on the web, including the official Adobe site and BBC Radio. I have also taken the Adobe advice and checked that I have uninstalled all other version of Flash Player before atempting to download. The same thing always happens - the download seems to start OK, but I get to the bit where the Adobe page says something like "when you can see the movie playing in the box above the installation is complete". Trouble is the movie never plays, and the player has not been installed.

I have Windows 8.1 (64-bit) using Internet Explorer. (version 11). I attempt to open a downloaded PDF file but it comes up with a black page with the following prompt box: To view Flash technology content in this PDF file, install this version of Flash Player that supports Adobe Reader. I proceed and the Adobe site notes that I need a full Flash player to view this content. I then attempt to download the Flash Payer Installer for Windows (Active X and Plugin). I then get this message when downloading Active X: install_flash_player_ax_exe couldn't be downloaded. I also get a similar message for Plugin (install_flash_player_exe couldn't be downloaded. I then went to Flash Player Help and checked if Flash Player was installed and I have version 15.0.0. I then tested the Flash Player and the animation box worked. Then I enabled Flash Player, Disabled Active X Filtering and updated Internet Explorer to get latest Flash Player version. Nothing works. I am at a lost on how to get this "full" version of Flash Player that is required for me to view my file. Any ideas on what can be done to fix this?

Are you able to download latest Flash Player?

I am unable to download the latest Flash Player (Version11.3.300.265. I have followed all the trouble-shooting suggestions offered by Adobe and even chatted with an online assistant (who said I must first purchase a $39 technical support agreement).
When I click on the download, it appears that something is happening in my download button.
However, when I go to the Download Folder, there is nothing there.
Any help would be apprecciated.

If you have a recent Flash Player, it installs
System Preferences > Flash Player...
... the Advanced pane can be used to perform the entire update and Install automatically.
Otherwise, the browser you use may have re-assigned the Download location. For Safari:
Safari Preferences > General >
Save downloaded files to: Downloads

I just purchased a brand new HP laptop and I need to download the latest Flash Player. I go on this website download the application. I start downloading... and it stops at 47% and states "Unable to connect to a reliable server" or something. I have internet connection... what is going on and how can I download this?

Unable to download latest Flash player

Hi all,
I can't download the latest Flash player (10.1). The Adobe download page tells me that my OS and browser are not supported. I'm running WinXP sp3 and IE7. I tried uninstalling my current version of Flash, but no change. All help appreciated.

You tried, or you actually uninstalled the current Flash Player?
To completely uninstall the current FP, use the uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html; save it to disk, and close all browser windows before you run it.
Next download the executable installer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe; also save it to disk, then close all browser windows before you run it.

Safari cannot download adobe flash player

when i try to view tv programs on my 2nd generation ipod touch i'm informed that the adobe flash player is needed. when i try to download the flash player i get the error message that safari cannot download the file. what might be causing that problem and what can be done about it?

Because it's true.
Flash is only one of the many video formats available online. The iPod touch supports many open video formats (they are listed on the specifications page).
Flash is a proprietary format owned by Adobe - it is not an open standard.
You can view videos, films, music videos etc. from the iTunes Store, and also any web-site that uses the standard MP4 format. There are also 1000's of videos in the YouTube application. You can also convert your own videos and view them on the iPod touch.

I have only recently purchased a Satellite L series notebook. I have successfully downloaded Adobe Reader but I can't seem to download Adobe Flash Player 9. Has anyone else had similar problems? Or can anyone else give guidance?

I cannot download adobe flash player to my comuter

This problem has been occurring and reoccurring since November 2012, I receive a message on my desktop stating that I need to update my adobe flash player. I click to do this and am transported to the adobe flash player download site. I click the "download now" tab and receive the download instructions page. When the popup window appears I select "save file" as instructed. I am then transported to the Firefox download list where I double click the flash player install highlighted in blue. The next pop up window asks if I want to "run file". I click "run file" and nothing happens. (alternatively I get a pop up window that asks me to continue if I am the administrator and I click "continue" and nothing happens) The pop up windows previously mentioned list the source of the download as C:/users/"my name"/downloads and when I click "details" it says (sic) C:/users/"my name"/ downloads remove C:/file/users etc. Sometimes I will get a message saying file cannot be found at C:/users etc. Of course not, because the file is in firefox downloads and not in my user download file. Is there a way to fix this? The flash player is not listed under firefox plugins so I cannot disable it or change it. Incidentally, other download files for updates etc are working without issues, I did have to disable the adobe reader plug in so that I can view PDF files on other internet sites. I have Vista sP2 on Dell XPS 420 with Firfox version 18.01

You actually have the most Recent Flash player, so I'm not sure why you are getting a notice. Try to Reset Firefox [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems]]
