I have been trying to update my Mac OS X 10.7.4 to 10.7.5 Each time I have downloaded it comes up with the box that I am not connected to the internet, but I am. Please help Thank you

Try downloading and installing the 10.7.5 Combo Update instead of using Software Update. I'm assuming the issue you're having is from using Software Update.

Try installing the OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 (Client Combo)
That will update your Mac to v10.7.4 but be aware that file size is 1.4 GB.
Bear in mind, if at some point you need to reformat or repair the startup disk or reinstall the Mac OSX, you would need to use Lion Recovery which requires broadband access to the Internet via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection

It's a connection timeout error. Google for a copy of iOS 5.0.1 and download it to your computer. Cannot download Adobe extension manager 5.0 via updates CS5

When I check updates in my CS5 it tells me that there is an update Adobe Extension manager 5.0
The upload seems to download but then it says that there has been a problem downloading the update and I should try again.
I tried over and over again but.. the same result.
I manually downloaded version 5.01 and manage to install this, but when i check updates it still stays there is this update 5.0 and it cannot download
What can I do to solve this??

Error downloading Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1

Hi,
I'm trying to download of the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 but the file always comes corrupted.
I have tried the download from two diferent places but the error persist.
The downloaded file always have 1.7GB but the specified in the download page is 1.9GB.
And i get a error when i try to download by the Software Update.
Any suggestions?

Funny (though it wasn't at the time!) but I was initially experiencing the same problems: part downloads (file size mismatch) and download errors.
However, at the time I was accessing the same WiFi connection with a PC while I waited for the download.
Now, it shouldn't make any difference, I appreciate that, and I've downloaded items in the past where there was another 3 computers accessing the same wireless connection. In this respect It may be a coincidence.
However, after 4 failed attempts I decided to sever the link between the PC and the wireless connection (only allowing my Mac access) and I received the update with no issues whatseover.
If you also have multiple machines accessing the same wireless connection, it might be worth a shot.

Hi, My sister downloaded some music for me when I got my iPod. She uploaded some music for me from the windows version of iTunes.
When I tried to download stuff from music files from my iMac itunes, it says, it cannot, because it has windows stuff on ipod. What do I do now? It says, I have to do a reboot and lose all my files!

I had a similar problem a while back and the advice i got that is a windows formatted pod cant accept songs from a mac, where a mac formatted pod can accept songs from both os x and windows.
so i'd format it to your mac, put your songs on, then put the songs on from your sisters pc and that should work fine.

I just uploaded the Document through icloud.com – it replaced my original one with the new one. So far so good … but I cannot view a preview nor download the file anymore through icloud.com! When try to boot now I see only a question mark folder…
I can fix permissions via dvd, I can see the mac mini disk if i connet via firewire to another mac,
but cannot boot from it…
tried a kind of tech tool test: it seems that I've got a huge amount of corrupted .plist files…
How could that happen?
does it mean that it's not an hardware issue?
should I reinstall snow?

no, it's not. there is probably something wrong with the partition map of the drive which is why your mac firmware does not recognize it as a boot drive when you restart. simply erasing the drive won't fix it. reformatting might.
