Have purchased movies from itunes adn they show on the ipad with the cloud symbol but will not download to the ipad, the above error keeps appearing??

All things being equal - there is no reason why you should not be able to download the rentals right to the iPad. But things like an interruption in the Internet connection - a hiccough in the connection - could pause the download or cause a problem. You can try to resume the download, or see if you can download the rentals on your computer and then move them to the iPad.
You could try restarting or rebooting the iPad and see of the downloads will resume. You can try signing out of your ID, restart the iPad and sign in again and then try to resume the downloads.
Once you tap on Rent or Install or Buy - the iTunes cash register rings up the purchase so that's a done deal now. You can't cancel it. You can contact iTunes support if the movies will not download and they should be able to get you through it - one way or the other.

I am having this problem as is my husband with our iphones. It REALLY frustrating and at the moment there seems to be no resolution. It more annoying because some of these apps have content that is lost by reinstalling, some wont even reinstall! COME ON APPLE - please sort this out & find a solution!!

Everytime i try to update my apps on my ipad, I get a "Unable to download application at this time" error on my ipad. How do I fix this?

Cannot download apps at this time

Hi I have noticed that recently when I either download an app or update a certain app I get a pop up on the screen that says:
Unable to purchase
"Amazon mobile"and 5 other items
Could not be purchased at this time
Please try again later.
Now it's been saying this for a few weeks now, but the thing is, I'm not even trying to update my amazon mobile app, and I have no clue what the othe 5 are. I have tried syncing and restarting but nothing helps. My guess is that it began when I tried to probably install a bunch of updates at once at one point. There might have been a problem and they were not available. But why is it still showing me this. I should also add that amazon mobile is not in my current list of apps that have updates. Any ideas would be great, it's quite annoying.

Go to Settings, Store, Apple ID, and Sign out.
Now do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!
Sign back in again and see what happens.

I had this problem for about six weeks. I was following this forum but was too unsure of what might happen to try the fixes that were suggested.
About two weeks ago I decided to delete the downloads.28.sqlitedb file (usingDiskAid(a free program), on a PC running Windows 7). The original downloads.28.sqlitedb was 936 KB. The new one that the system created is 80 Kb., and has stayed at about that size. After about four days I also deleted all the other contents of the Download folder. Ten days later and still no more problems. Downloads are much quicker, nothing greys-out (as was happening frequently before).
Everything has worked well since with no more error messages.
I am using an iPod 4G, iOS 5.1 (originally iOS 5.0). I do not have a manifest file, and as far as I know, have not had one. DiskAid can search the whole "hard drive" on the iPod.
Deleting downloads.28.sqlitedb and the contents of Downloads worked for me.

My office is saying its an unlicensed product and it prompts me to re install. It come up with Microsoft Activation Wizard then when I select to activate software via the internet an error comes up saying:

This error can indicate a permissions issue in the registry and/or other operating system issues.
Here is a
blog post which descripts some fixes to this specific error:
Check the Device Manager first to determine whether the issue was caused by an underlying operating system issue.
If it's not an issue with the operating system, try the rest steps descripted in the blog to troubleshoot the issue.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".
Tip - You may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. After you update to iOS 5.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, there is a blank app icon on the home screen. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

I have a report that has a parameter file. When I call the report the parameter form is displayed but after I enter the parameter values and click SUBMIT QUERY, I receive this error:
Error: The requested URL was not found, or cannot be served at this time.
Oracle Reports Server CGI - Reports Server name is not specified.
If I run the report without parameter file it runs fine.
Does anyone have an idea on how I can make this work.

* Can you please tell what version of Reports you are using ie 6i or 9i and the exact version [ In builder give Help->About] . In this problem we cannot deduce anything from the version. But if it is very old, we can recommend installing the latest patch.
* Please post the full command line request. If you have used any keys in cgicmd.dat , please post the expansion of that keys also.
* If possible as a workaround give paramform=no&paramName=paramValue ... in request till this problem is resolved.

Error appears: Cannot send message. this message cannot be sent at this time - has been appearing everytime i try to send e-mail for the past week!

For the past week I have not been able to send both simple and attached messages through my icloud e-mail.
The error reads: this message cannot be sent at this time. i have the latest version of Firefox, I have even changed my password in hopes that this would resolve the issue, but alas, it hasn't worked. HELP!

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
