Cannot download Mp3 files and some other format

Hi people,
I cannot download Mp3 files and many other files. I cannot update my Ovi Store app and pretty much everything else. I can download pdf and zip using opera but almost everything else (including mp3 and sis files) redirects to Nokia browser which just freezes no download. I have tried another same model phone E72 and no problem.
It seem my browser is corrupt and can't find way to reinstall.
Also why don't nokia let us download with browser of our choice? I would rather use opera than inbuilt one

Apart from loss of data issue in the circumstances you may have to either "hard reset" or re-install existing firmware to eliminate possible software corruption.

Have you confirmed that you successfull purged iTunes Match by also looking on an iOS device? If so, keep in mind that Apple's servers may be experiencing a heavy load right now. They just added about 19 countries to the service and I've read a few accounts this morning that suggests all's not running perfectly right now.

I cannot download MP3 files, whenever i click the link to download the MP3 files opens in firefox itself with no seprate dialogue box to download...it opens in a black screen and i am unable to download it

i generally download songs from free sites like songs.pk, emp3world.com.........i am able to download songs from same sites in other browser like opera just by clicking on link to download, but in firefox a black screen appears and media is played online without getting downloaded.........plz help

i have a php site. i am able to download mp3 files on localhost. after uploading on hosting server, i am able to download on IE, chrome. but mozilla gives a garbage file. instead of music file. I have had heaps of trouble with plugins and add on's since using upgrades after 3.6.18. Now I cannot download PDF files!
Are you Guys going to fix what used to be a good browser or do I have to use IE?

You can enable the Trustworthy Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.

Cannot download .pdf files and word docs from KM using Web Dynpro

Dear Portal Gurus,
Using KM API, I am trying to download, documents from KM in my Web Dynpro Application. But .pdf files and word docs with screenshots are not getting retrieved from KM. Word docs opens with no content and Adobe opens with an error saying "Either it is a damaged file or It is not a supported file".
I am using the following KM service to download the content.

Which web browser are you using to view the PDF? Safari 5.1.8
When you open the PDF in Adobe Reader add-in you will either see a floating toolbar

both the toolbars have save button, use the button to save the file locally. I do not see these toolbars. I do, however see this

HELP! I cannot access yahoo/apple and some other websites

Ever since i have fixed my internet connection in the college that i attend, i have been having problems with my internet connection at home. Access to the apple and yahoo websites have been sporadical and at times just loads the hyperlinks, missing all the images. I have tried everything i can think of and have been trawling through forums to find an answer, you guessed it.. to no avail. I tried flushing the cache in terminal changing the DNS settings resembling a mac in the same house that works perfectly, creating a new airport in the system preferences, the MTU and the location. I am not a programmer so cannot tell from pings and other requests where the problem lies, but would more than gladly give anyone this information if they would be kind enough to try and solve this for me.
I am in the final few weeks of college before i graduate so i really need to access my main mail source (yahoo) between lecturers to discuss my final year projects.
Google works 95% of the time as do many other sites that i frequent, the only websites that i have noticed thus far have been yahoo apple youtube and twitter.
Again much appreciate any contribution

How do I convert .flv files to an audio (.mp3) file and how do I rip my CDs

I'm a recent convert from Windows. I doubt if this is the right place to post this question but I have no idea which discussion group is correct.
I did a search and found nothing on this topic.
I don't even know if Macs use .mp3 files or some other format.
I'm not even sure how to play my old .mp3 files or if I have to convert them to something else.
I'll got hundreds of old CD's that I ripped on my previous computer so I guess I need to that again. Where do I start to do that.

What happens if you insert one of your disk, right click on it's desktop image and then select "Open With" iTunes or QuickTime?

No, I already tried looking at that. The file that recovered was not in the trash, it appeared in my documents folder. I opened it up and inside was an iText Express document with coding. Then inside of there, was and then and this "SoftwareMap" document contained a bunch of coding and symbols and words.

Suddenly i cannot load videos from you tube and some other locations, although I can load then using CHROME

The problem is that all of a sudden, I cannot load and see videos from youtube and some other sites.
When I ask to see something from youtube for example, the appropriate page opens, and in the place that the video was supposed to be loaded, I see a black screen and nothing happens.
I scanned the computer and found nothing.
I uninstalled firefox and installed it again.
The problem stays.
I browsed using CHROME and I have no problem. i can see everything perfectly.
This happened suddenly today.

Installing the Perian codec component package will normally allow FLV file containers to be played in QT players. However, it might be more helpful here if you could provide a specific YouTube URL (and resolution if applicable) of interest to check out. While I previously indicated content was typically converted to FLV, MP4 files may also be used and content may compressed as H.264/AAC in either container which, of course, should already be QT compatible without additional support.

That depends. If the file you are interested in is available in multiple resolutions, then downloading the highest available resolution would provide the best starting point for iMovie editing. If compressed content is already in an iMovie compatible compression format, then it might be possible to copy the content to an iMovie compatible file container (if not already in one) and thus avoid transcoding the data before import to iMovie. However, you still have the potential for some visual quality loss after editing when you export the finished project from iMovie.

You can't download music via Safari. If you are trying to get music into the Music app then you will either need to buy/download them via the iTunes store app, or download them on your computer and sync them. If you are using a third-party music app then does it have its own browser function for downloading music, or does it only support copying via a computer's iTunes ?

Earlier i was able to download mp3 files by pressing on link for some time and menu popus up "Save link as" but after recent update that option is gone.
That option is desperately needed.
One more thing is MP3 file start playing in black player on firefox when i actually want to download them and then play it.

What is N-OS?
For the camera raw problem, every new camera has its own raw format and ACR must be updated to include it. That hasn't happened yet for the D5500, so you'll just have to use the Nikon software till Adobe gets the info and releases an updated version of ACR. It's not unusual to be in your situation if you buy a camera model that's only been out a month. You just have to wait a bit.

i have lost many of my music files and some video files from i movie projects,after downloading OSX 10.9 Mavericks .My previous Original i movie has lost some also. The projects just have a green bar where the music files were. The system says cannot locte missing file.

PSE 9 is too old for any of the versions of ACR that support the 1 V1. You have three options:
1. Upgrade to PSE 10 or 11.
2. Use the Nikon software to convert the raw files and send the resulting tiffs to PSE for further editing.
3. Try the free Adobe DNG converter, and you should be able to open the resulting DNGs in your version of ACR.
