Cannot Download New U2 Album - HELP!
I pre-ordered the new U2 album No Line on the Horizon a month ago. I got the free Get on Your Boots single. I chose the Deluxe Edition because it had a couple bonus tracks, plus the movie Lebanon and digital booklets.
I got the email today saying my pre-order is now available. I clicked the link from my email message and got the following messages from iTunes:

The availability of the item changed while you were using the store. The same item may be available with a different price or elsewhere in the store.
Now I am really ticked off! I can't download the pre-order I made. Sure, I can buy the Deluxe Version outright, but it looks like I lose one of the pre-order exclusive songs! The only one I see now is an alternate version of Get On Your Boots.
Can anyone advise me here? Did iTunes lose the extra bonus track? Is there just a brief issue with the pre-order download that I should wait out? If I don't get the extra track, this will be the LAST PURCHASE I ever attempt through iTunes.
Well, iTunes support has not yet emailed me about this issue. It is greater than the 24 hours that they promised on the intial email.
Apple store reps were unable to help or even provide reassurance when I talked to them about it at my local store.
I bought the album at Best Buy instead. That will be the last time I attempt to make an iTunes purchase. I don't think I'm asking for much here. I pre-ordered an album from my favorite band, and then couldn't download it for over 24 hours after it was widely available elsewhere online and in stores. A real letdown. I'll live without the bonus tracks.

It was given free to everyone on tuesday as part of the iPhone 5 event/announcement, so it will show as purchased in the store.
If this is on your iPhone then either turn Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music (under 'show all') 'on' - it should then show in the Music app with a cloud icon against it for downloading.
Or go to the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app, select Music, and it might then show under 'Various' - when downloaded it should correctly be under U2 in Music.
If you are using your computer's iTunes then you should be able to download it into your library by ticking the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tick box on the Store tab in Edit > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences on a Mac) - it should then show in the Music part of your library with a cloud icon against it for downloading (downloading the booklet for it this way may not work, you may get a 'corrupt file' message when trying to open it).
Or go to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage and you should be able to download it from there.
A third option on a computer is to sign out of your account (Store > Sign Out menu option), find the album in the store and then click on its free 'price' button - you should then be prompted to sign back in and the album should download. -
Ok so I updated to iOS 7 on my iPod (5th) it let me update my apps but I cannot download new apps thanks to the terms and conditions. Also my iTunes won't start it just blank, I tried everything I need help
Did you download the new iTunes update that was also released this afternoon? That might be the problem. The new iTunes update came out today as well as the new iOS 7 update and if you haven't downloaded the new iTunes update it may be a compatibility problem so if you didn't, first update to the new iTunes and try again.

This sounds like your authentication settings have been screwed up - I've had this a couple of times after Yosemite installs/upgrades.
Check you have the correct port settings and authentication type. Sometimes changing the setting then changing it back works. -
Cannot download new version or uninstall Itunes

When you get that msi message, you need to do an installer cleanup.
I will give you a method for full removal and cleanup of iTunes and related programs followed by install. You may be able to get way with just removing and cleaning up iTunes itself, but I have given the whole method in case you need it.
Download a fresh copy of iTunes and the stand alone version of Quicktime (the one without iTunes)

Download and install Microsoft Installer cleanup utility, there are instructions on the page as well as the download. Note that what you download is the installer not the program – you have to run it to install the program.
To run the program – All Programs>>Windows Install Cleanup

*If you hit a problem with one of the uninstalls don't worry*, carry on with the deleting of files and folders as directed in the method.
When you get to deleting Quicktime files in the system32 folder as advised in the method, you can delete any file or folder with Quicktime in the name.
Restart your PC.
Run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility. (Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up)
Remove any references you find to the programs you removed - strictly speaking you only need to worry about those programs where the uninstall failed.
If you don’t see an entry for one of the programs that did not uninstall, look out for blank entries or numeric entries that look like version numbers e.g. 7.x for Quicktime or 1.x for Bonjour.
restart your PC
Install the stand alone Quicktime and check that it works.
If it does, install iTunes. -

You got ripped off. You bought a hacked/jailbroken phone. That's what error 1015 means. Return it and get your money back if possible and buy a phone from a legitimate source.

Cannot download new apps or update existing apps. App Store ID is old email address and not current one. How do I fix?
If you can't buy/download them with your new account then closing the App Store app via the iPad's multitasking bar and then do a soft-reset it and see if you can then download them
To close the App Store app : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the App Store app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar
To do a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

I think you are trying to install a computer application to use on an iPad. You can't. They are incompatible pieces of hardware. If you want Family Tree Maker for your iPad, then you need to get that version, if it exists, from the iTunes Store. That download can't be done via Safari.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

If you accidentally purchased a duplicate song or video, simply follow the steps below to send a refund request for the item to one of our support agents.
1. Locate the song or video in your Purchase History
2. Click on the "Report a Problem" link
3. Select "I already own this item" from the drop down menu
4. Enter notes explaining the situation in the Comments section

[iTunes 8.0.2]: I cannot download new iPhone updated applications

I am suffering something very weird since three days ago. Well, I have iTunes 8.0.2.20 with QT 7.5.5, so everything is up to date.
I can connect to iTunes Store, I can buy/download new songs and I can buy new iPhone applications at the iTunes Store. But the problem is that the iTunes says that I have 55 Applications updates (and this number grows everyday because there are new updates released), but when I press the button: "55 Updates available" at the Applications section the iTunes says me:
"We cannot complete your iTunes Store request. There is an unknown error (-50)."
And I have been trying everything: Re-install iTunes and QuickTime, flush the DNS with the WinXP 'ipconfig' command, disconnect completely the firewall, etc.
But, it continues happening, although 3 days ago didn't happened and I didn't changed anything in my PC. But suddently began to happen this issue.
Can you help me, please?
