Cannot download pics from transcend S HC 10
How can I downlad pics from a transcend S HC 10 card?
4Kids,
DUH, dumb me. iTunes opened with phone plugged in (not iPhoto or other). As soon as I opened iPhoto, THEN plugged in the iPhone 4, there were my pictures asking where to import them to. Christ on a stick, thanks. Do I feel silly (again ;o)!

I cannot download pics from my camera. Your problem or mine? Please advise
Today, I have been unable to download pics from my camera. Site says it has a problem...and pardon the inconvenience. Is this to be fixed with Adobe?? Thanks Nan
I can't think any way in which Adobe Reader is involved in downloading pics from your camera. If you think Adobe is involved, check the name of the Adobe software you are using, they make lots of stuff.

I cannot download pics from my 3G iPhone
When I connect my phone to the PC it shows in my computer as connected but offers no way to view or download pics.
The Apple Mobile Device Driver is automatically installed with iTunes 7.3 and later versions. This service provides the interface to Apple mobile devices, the iPhone and iTouch. The service should automatically be enabled with the install of iTunes 7.3, however if it has been disabled for any reason (conflict of software), it can easily be started again from a computer's administrative.
Click "Start" and then "Control Panel."
Open "Administrative Tools" and then select "Services."
Locate the "Apple Mobile Device" service from the list. Right-click and select "Properties." Click the "Start" button under "Service status." Select "Automatic" under "Startup type."
Or just upgrade your iTunes, it will do everything for you. -
Cannot download pics from Kodak camera.
Get unrecognizable format error when trying to download jpg files from a Kodak camera. Any ideas?
Read Kodak's user manual, contact their tech support or forums.
Another option would be to purchase a usb card reader/writer. -
Unable to download pics from icloud to Mac Pro
Just updated Mac Pro to Mountain but cannot download pics from icloud. Is MobileMe required?
MobileMe is closed and has no relevance to anything. iCloud provides 'PhotoStream' but this is purely a conduit which automatically transfers pictures taken on one device onto all the others which are signed in in iPhoto or Aperture - you can't manually download photos. There is also a very basic photo gallery in the form of 'Photo Stream' which is populated only from iPhoto for iOS, not from a Mac.
If you are trying to access pictures which were in your MobileMe Gallery, these have now been deleted. It's probable that you also have these photos on your Mac, synced with the online gallery in iPhoto or Aperture, but if you don't have the picture on your Mac I'm afraid they are lost. -
I am trying to download pic from my camera to my iphoto. The computer is telling me that I cannot do this because it down not work with this version of OSx
What do I do?
Thanks!
horton05It is not possible to install OS X 10.7.2 on a Mac with a G5 processor.
In order for 10.7.2 to be installed you must have an Intel processor and not a PowerPC which G5 is. Please straighten out your information.
Also the version of iPhoto you are attempt to run would be helpful.

I cannot download photos from my digital camera (via a cable) to Iphoto (version '09). I have been able to do this successfully up til 4 days ago but not yesterday (Dec. 25th). My camera/device is recognized in the Source List, but when it tries to download the photos, all I get are the words "Loading Photos" in the area where the thumbnail pictures usually display. The little "gear" symbol next to the words but it just goes round and round. Nothing ever downloads, and instead of showing me how many pictures there are to import it just says "No photos". So therefore I cannot import the photos to my library since they won't even download.
I was getting an error message a few days ago that my Iphoto library was getting full, so I emptied my trash in both Iphoto and on my computer. I had this same problem back in October and emptying the trash and getting rid of some photos did help (can I really be using that much storage space for the pictures?). But it didn't help this time.
Any suggestions as to what to do to solve the problem? I would try taking the SD card out and inserting that into the slot on the computer to see if I could load pictures that way; but the last time I did that, they wouldn't load. Not sure if I lost pics from the disc or not.
Thank you,
Novice501. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now? -
Problems with Yahoo, I Cannot download files from my mail or logout from my account.
Recently, I have discovered that I cannot logout from my Yahoo account without closing Firefox, which clears my history. Also, I have problems downloading files from my email. At first I thought maybe Yahoo was having some issues but when I use Safari, I don't have these problems. Any idea as to what my problem could be?
I can't think any way in which Adobe Reader is involved in downloading pics from your camera. If you think Adobe is involved, check the name of the Adobe software you are using, they make lots of stuff.

How do i download pics from my laptop to my desktop
How do I download pics from my MacBook to my desktop? I know I can burn a disk and download, but is there an easier way? Thanks!
Or, if you have two compatible Macs with Lion, you can use AirDrop.
There's a compatibility list here:

How to download pics from Verizon cell phone to ipad2?
How to download pics from Verizon cell phone to ipad2?
Is it an iPhone ? If it is and you don't want to go via your computer and iTunes, then the camera connection kit can connect the iPhone to the iPad and can copy photos to the iPad. Also there are photo transfer apps such as Simple Transfer which can copy photos between iOS devices via your wifi network.
If it's not an iPhone then you probably need to go via your computer and sync them via iTunes, or if there aren't that many photos and your phone supports it you can email them to yourself -
I have Adobe Acrobat version 11.0.0 installed with Adobe CC. I cannot download PDFs from the internet (in this case from PubMed National Library of Medicine). If I try to do this I get a popup message saying that "ADOBE ACROBAT NPAPI PLUG-IN, VERSION 11.0.0 NEEDS YOUR PERMISSION TO RUN. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GIVE THIS PERMISSION OR WHAT TO DO. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP?
What buttons do you get to click on with this message? What browser are you using (e.g. Safari, Chrome, Internet Explorer...)

I recently replaced iPhoto with Aperture. When I download pics into Aperture they are place in a file that's called "Untitled Project." When I downloaded pics from my camera to iPhoto they were put in a file that was named with the download date (YYYY MM DD). Can I do that with Aperture (as the download default)?
My apologies.
When I import I have an Applescript that stores the images in a year month day folder-project structure so I haven;t used the default Aperture behavior in some time. When I tested it out to reply to you I was doing it from the file system and it picked up the date from the folder. mea culpa.
Anyway the closest you can get is to have Aperture split the images by date. IN the Aperture preferences set the project split granularity
Autosplit into Projects
and then in the import window set
Automatically split projects.
This will give projects named Month Day, Year (ie: Mar 13, 2012) there is no way to change this
As I said I have a script that runs on import and sets up a structure like:
Of course many here will say not to name projects this way, that Aperture has the ability to sort by date and you're better off naming projects something more meaningful. For them that is true and it might be for you also. For me I like to store my masters this way, it works for the way I shoot.

I cannot use iTunes or iBooks and my iBooks library is blank although I have purchased books in the past. Also I cannot download anything from my app icon. Has anyone experienced this and if so how do I correct.
Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.
Cheers, Tom -
The system cannot download information from the SQLSERVER server.
Hi All,
After BPC 7.0 SP6 for MS install we get the following when trying to access the "Manage Application Sets" or any other admin console task, when we try to execute the connection wizard:
The system cannot download information from the SQLSERVER server.
There may be a network or security issue.
Error Message:Error code: 500
any ideas?
Br
StevenSteven,
Could you also make sure that the problem is not on the client side.
Is this a fresh installtion on the client machine? Or was there already an previous version of BPC on this machine?
If this is not a fresh install, you can try to uninstall the software and then deleting all the files in the folder
"program files\BPC". I've seen that sometimes not all the files are automatically deleted.
Then installing the Bpc client agian...
Kind regards,
Sam
