I have upgraded to OS 10.9.2 on my new MacBook Pro. However, I cannot seem to load the printer drivers for the Canon IX 6500 printer - please help? Thanks!

Hi everyone, no matter if I use Chrome 44 or Internet Explorer, I cannot download any drivers or utilities from the HP-website. When I click on the blue square, which is supposedly where I am expected to click to start the download, nothing happens. I don't have any script-blockers activated. I'm trying to download the Windows-10 drivers and utilities for my Deskjet 2510, but I also checked some other model's drivers and the download does not start either. I don't get an error message or anything. It's just that the download does not start. I'm currently using Windows 7 64 bit, I just want to download the Windows 10-drivers and tools in advance. Hi, When you click on the download button, a plug-in gets downloaded first "HPSupportSolutionsFramework.exe", you need to install this plug-in first and click download and the "Blue" button to continue download. Alternate would be to select "Download Only" and click next, this would skip the Plug-in install and start the driver download. Heres the link to downlaod directly. Not using any mouse pad, I have a very smooth desktop. But I just tried to use a sheet of A4 printing paper, but no result, the problem persisted.
Someone on this forum suggested, that USB3 may interfere with the magic mouse.
I have 2 LaCie HDD's about 70 cm away from the mouse, I use them on Thunderbolt. But in operation or not - the result is the same, the mouse plays up! Just now I was clicking the desktop and the mouse created a new folder!!

HP Premium C410A Cannot load printer drivers eith from disc or download

HI, i have moved the printer to another computer and on this computer (Windows 7 64 bit) i cannot load the drivers from either disc or online. when going through the install procedure it gets to checking for updates, downloading updates and as soon as it starts installing updates it just custs out of the whole installation with no message or another - the whoel installation just disappears.
i have disabnles the anti virus, tried online down loading drivers but it will not load at all;.
Internet connection is a little slow but otherwise the whole machine seems to be in working order including printer.

Launch the installation once again and follow the steps till the licence agreement.
Clcik the 2nd lnk (Internet Connection Usage) and select No, Thanks for both of the questions.
Confirm the changes, accept the license agreement and follow the installation.

Under Lion, you should not install the printer driver directly. Let Apple find it for you via software update.

You basically have to have your printer connected to your Mac (for example, by USB or on your wireless network). Then let Apple find the appropriate driver software for you.

Cannot install printer drivers

I have a Canon MP20 I bought from Apple a few years ago. I have recently upgraded my computer (2009 MPB) to Mountain Lion and have the printer connected to an Airport Extreme. The Print & Scan prefpane sees the printer and starts going though the motions of connecting me and installing the dirvers.
At first it tells me “The selected printer software is available from Apple. Click Add to download it and add this printer.” (image)
I do.
I get a progress bar telling me the computer is “Finding software…” (image)
I then get an error message telling me, “Can’t install the software for the Canon MP620 series because it is not curently available from the Software Update server.” (image)
This appears to contradict the first messsage and leaves me unable to setup the printer.

More info: I just this minute installed the latest Canon inkjet printer drivers, found here. No change.

Cannot download ODBC drivers

I am attempting to download ODBC drivers for use with Oracle 10g via the following location.

No matter which version I attempt to download (10.1.0.5.0, 10.1.0.4.0, 10.1.0.3.1) I receive a connection timeout. Any thoughts as to why?

Cannot install these dirvers (perhaps others as well?). Respponse from ihstall procedure is that there are no updates on the site.

Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion not downloading Printer Drivers

I have an Epson XP-300 All in One Printer. I tried downloading the software and its drivers from the installatioin CD and Epson Website but my Mac just won't do it. When I click Download on the Epson Site safari won't open the page. It tries to but then says "Safari can't open page". I am running Mountain Lion.

I then deleted the printer from "Printer and Scan" list and tried to add it again hoping it would solve the problem but now I can't even add the printer again since the Mac doesn't even recognize there is a printer in range. Unable to download printer drivers. Now what do I do?

Due to a recent incident (my own stupidity) I had to reinstall my OS on a couple of computers. One is an older MacBook running Lion (10.7.5), the other is a newer iMac running Mavericks (10.9.4).
On the older Lion unit, the printer settings indicate that drivers ARE available for my printers (an HP OfficeJet 8500 a909N and an HP OfficeJet 8500 a910N). But when I attempt to download them, I get back a message that the drivers AREN'T available.
In the case of the newer, Mavericks unit, I was able to install the drivers for the a910N but the drivers for the a909N are reportedly unavailable. And of course, HP is no help as they don't make drivers available on their website.
So, what do I do (other than purchase a new printer?)

If the drivers aren't downloaded automatically for your printer, then download the most recent package of drivers for your printer make from Apple - support.apple.com/downloads. Or go to the maker's website, locate their driver download pages for a current driver.

Installing network printer and downloaded print drivers aren't recognized.

I downloaded drivers for the Canon ImagePRESS C1 and they seem to install just fine. However, when I install the network printer the driver is not listed anywhere. Even when I choose "Other" and point to the device folder the files are greyed out, and I can't select the driver. I've tried updates and resetting the print system an still no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are three printer options (at least here in Oz there is) available for the imagePRESS C1. There is the internal Canon printer board and two external print controllers - the imagePASS-T1 and the imagePRESS-Q1, which is what we have connected to our C1. Each of these print controllers have different drivers so you need to determine which one you have first. If you are not sure, then check with someone or have a look at the C1. If it has a white metal box hanging on the back of the copier with some network cables, then you have the T1. If there is a PC case connected to the copier then you have the Q1. If the network cable connects from the wall straight to a network card on the back left side of the machine, then you have the internal Canon board.
For the two imagePASS controllers, you can download the driver from the print controller, by opening its internal web page (type the copiers IP address into your web browser to access). These queues for these drivers are added via IP > HP Jetdirect-Socket and you should find the driver by searching for either T1 or C1 in the Print using menu.
If you have the Canon board, then how you create the printer queue depends on which driver you have downloaded. Could you tell me the driver name and version so I can explain the method of adding the printer queue.

Cannot Download Bootcamp drivers on iMac, will MacBook Pro work?

I have to install Win 7 x32 and x64 on iMacs with bad (almost ZERO) internet access. I tried downloading the Windows Support files for Bootcamp drivers, but it wouldn't download. I have a MacBook Pro and a MacPro (2007) i can use (both running Lion) is there a direct download maybe? None of the BootCamp Updates I have found have worked.

Cannot download bootcamp drivers

Hi,
I have Macbook pro 2012 , 13" , third gen i5.
i have recently installed windows 7 using boot camp, but i dont have drivers for it. Actually I have a very slow internet connection, and not stable. Thus after some time it looses its connection and the whole downloaded thing goes off
So instead of downloading from apple site, is there any other altenative where i can download it and PAUSE it whenever needed and RESUME download later.
Please help me.
