In my case I had no problems. Maybe - after a better analysis - it could be a case for the "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool".

When I check updates in my CS5 it tells me that there is an update Adobe Extension manager 5.0
The upload seems to download but then it says that there has been a problem downloading the update and I should try again.
I tried over and over again but.. the same result.
I manually downloaded version 5.01 and manage to install this, but when i check updates it still stays there is this update 5.0 and it cannot download
What can I do to solve this??

I downloaded the TDS managed IP Hosted Assistant Toolbar 17.4.86.1 and I cannot get it to work on Firefox. It says it is fully compatible but I downloaded it like the instructions said and it will not show as a toolbar option for Firefox. Please help and I am trying to not use IE at work as we run XP. Actually, if you're experiencing problems with an addon/extension, you would better off asking the developer about it since Mozilla nor us volunteers have anything to do with the extension not working. I would suggest Safe Mode to see if that addon is being conflicted with by another addon but I don't want to give you wrong steps.
If you want to try Safe Mode, feel free to:

If Firefox opens up fine with no problems, it's probably one of your extensions that's causing the issue. You can re-enable your add-ons one by one until you find the one that causes the issue upon being re-enabled. -

Trying to load a Dreamweaver CS5 extension called Image Show Pro to mac operating system 10.9.2. Trial version worked fine, but when I try to load full version, Adobe Extension Manager crashes. I am not sure if you already tried this, but in case not, try to update Muse via Creative cloud directly.
Start creative cloud application manager, if you dont have it, you can download it from here,
Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Windows : Adobe Application Manager
Login using your adobe id, once you are in, switch to Apps, and you should see the Update for Muse, click Update.

Did you download the Creative Cloud management app, install that and then use it to download the AI app?

Hello- I recently upgraded to OS Mountain Lion on my iMac and cannot download the most current version of Adobe Flash Player. I even uninstalled the old Flash version but this did not resolve the issue. Could somebody please assist? Thank you.
Hello- I was able to resolve the issue after clicking on the top right hand corner that shows the recent downloads (it has that down arrow). I realized that I had tried downloading the Adobe Flash Player Install Manager about 7 times, but still needed to click on the file and install! So I erased all the duplicates and installed one of the Flash Player Install Managers and it finally worked! Yay!

Is it possible to install Flash extension without using the Extensions Manager?
I am so frustrated with Aodbe releasing new versions incompatible with older versions! I work with Flash CS3. There are many good reasons why I cannot and don't want to upgrade. I have recently updated to Mountain Lion. Everything is good except that the extensions manager 1.8 (CS3) doesn't work on Mountain Lion - it crashes. But all the newer Extensions Managers don't see any older versions of Flash. So basically I cannot install any of the extensions, which are essential to my work!
I am thinking going back to Snow Leopard because of this ridiculous issue. Unless there is any other way to install extensions into Flash CS3...I am not sure whether the root cause for EM CS3 crashes is the same as EM CS5/5.5 on Mac 10.8. If the root cause is the same and you have installed InDesign CS3 and don't need install extensions for it, you can rename XManConfig.xml under InDesign folder to anything, then EM will not try to import pre-installed extensions for InDesign, EM should start up correctly. If you have to install extension for InDesign, you can remove all pre-installed extensions of InDesign, which should be located in "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/InDesign/Version XXX/<Locale>/Extensions" (I haven't installed InDesign CS3, so the folder may be a little different).

I am afraid you cannot do it. "swishmax4" is NOT a ZXP or MXP file and it cannot be supported by Extension Manager. It has its own installer, and install the contents to Dreamweaver without Extension Manager, so Extension Manager cannot handle that. You can consult "Swishnone.com" to check if they can provide ZXP extension "swishmax4" for Dreamweaver CS6. Thanks.

It's a connection timeout error. Google for a copy of iOS 5.0.1 and download it to your computer. Prepare to restore your iPhone but hold down Option (Mac) or Shift (Windows) when clicking Restore to bring up an explorer where you can manually install iOS 5.0.1 on your device, since you do not require a full download from the Apple Servers other than to verify your iOS build being installed.

If the machine was upgraded to Lion 10.7.x by the original owner then you bought an illegal license of Lion and also of any other applications that the seller said came pre-installed, this assumes the seller did not include original install media. In that case you need to contact the seller for the original install DVDs that came with the machine re-install up to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and then purchase Mountain Lion ($20) and the applications you want or need. If the seller cannot come up with the original install discs then you can buy them from a nominal cost from AppleCare..
