Cannot download to my computer

Hi, I use to be able to use Firefox with no problem. One day I went to open it and it just sat there and did nothing. I've tried looking through my processes for Firefox to be running and it's not showing up. I've also manually deleted Firefox from my computer and moved it to my recycling bin. I was not able to remove Firefox automatically with add/delete programs. When I do go to download Firefox I tell it to run, it starts to extract files and then nothing happens, it just sits there. I don't know what to do now. I'm running Opera on my system but a lot of my sites I frequent say to view in Firefox. Can anybody help. Please. Thanks.

Retired Crafter first it sounds like you are trying to install the software instead of downloading The downloading terminology is utilized when you are downloading a file from a computer over a network connection. Installation is when you are trying to place the software into the correct location on your computer so that you can utilize the program.
As for how to install it will depend on which version of Windows 7 you have. Is it Windows 7 or Windows 7 64-bit? Depending on the answer you will see a label on the right hand side of the DVD stating to start with Disc 1 if you have Windows 7 or for 64-bit installations begin with Disc 2. My computer crashed along with my CS5. When trying to download CS5 on new computer it recognizes my serial # but will not allow to download. I suspect my 2 download limit is reached but have no way delete from old computers So I can download on new computer How can this problem be resolved?

Contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations. Then you should be able to activate a new installation.

I cannot download songs from computer to Ipad. Have lost the few songs on the ipad as well.

Are you syncing like this?
Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on all of the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
If that does not work, post back and describe what is happening. All you said was that you can't sync music, but you provided no details at all as to what is actually going on.

Cannot download latest airport extreme security update.

When I try to download it, it say, it cannot download on my computer.
I checked to make sure I had the correct build in the kbase and I have.
I tried and tried.
I downloaded straight from the ethernet to my computer, not from my airport extreme base station. Still wouldn't no install.
I tried doing it just while using my airport basestation...still won't install..
The words, this software cannot be installed on your computer.

My 10.3.9 computer is in reasonably good shape; and the last AirPort

On my Mac I cannot download itunes 10.5. IT is telling me that it is already up to date on this computer. When I download 10.5 it doesn't read my iphone and it still says its 10.3. It will not update my iphone until it is 10.5. What can I do?

Remove old Apple programs, and use Explorer web-browser. (Firefox or Chrome will not do)

I replaced my old "slave" XP system computer with a new ASUS Windows 7 computer. I connect the slave computer (Windows 7 OS) wirelessly through a Linksys router.with my "home" computer (XP OS) and the internet. I get the following error message when I try to install Adobe Reader: "error 1606: could not access network location %APPDATA%\. I cannot download through either Firefox or through Windows Explorer.

No. As a matter of fact, I tried to install it using Internet Explorer 64 bit. It also would not install Acrobat 9.3My PC is an ASUS E5400, Pentium Dual-core, 2.7 GHz each, with 6.oo GB RAM and 64 bit OS.
I spent a couple of hours on-line with a Linksys troubleshooter to see if the problem was with my Linksys router or adaptor. Neither of them appear to be the problem.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to put everything on the new computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup ( not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipad- without syncing : File>Transfer Purchases
In some countries you can redownload some itunes content.
