Cannot download videos

I recently bought an Ipad and used a digital camera to take short videos and a few pictures. They were successfully transferred to my Ipad and I could view both pictures ( jpeg) and videos in the Ipad.
However I am unable to download the videos to my PC ( 3 yrs old, running XP ).
My Itunes is the latest version and so is the OS in Ipad. Itunes does not allow me to download the videos.
My XP does not recognise IPad using Windows explorer.
How do I download my videos????????????

I see a download link on that page to download and save that video via the right-click context menu, so the extension is not really needed in this case.

HT201077 I cannot download video from shared photostream

I can upload video to a shared photostream. I can see video in my and others photostreams. But I cannot save any video from shared photostream to my Ipad. It is declared officially that it is possible. But after I tap SELECT and tap a video in shared photostream, the DOWNLOAD sign in the left top corner does not become blue. It stays grey and does not offer any options if I tap it. If I do the same actions with any photo (not video) it works well. But with video it refuses to activate this download sign in the left top corner of the screen.

I downloaded and installed firefox 5, but uninstalled it because it is not conpatible with Real Player video downloader. I cannot download videos from You tube or other sites with Firefox 5. How can I resolve this problem? ooader

I use Real Player to play music and videos. I also download videos from You Tube and from other sites thru Real Player which is compatible with Firefox 4.0.1, but not with Firefox 5. Please tell me why?

Firefox 4.0.1 has been an unsafe browser since the release of Firefox 5. So please don't use it.
Real hasn't made Real Player Browser Plugin compatible with Firefox 5.

Most likely you are using an add-on for this feature, maybe the Real downloader? In your "More System Details" to the right of your post, I see several different Real plugins. In case this is a problem with the plugin needing either an update or to be switched to "Always Activate" you could go ahead and visit the Add-ons page using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Plugins.
To see whether plugins are disabled ("Never Activate") or require activation every time ("Ask to Activate") you can scroll down and check your Real plugins.
To check all your plugins for updates, you can use the link above the list. Note that the Mozilla plugin checker site isn't always up-to-date, so starting your Real software outside of Firefox and using its built-in updater might be a good follow-up.

Cannot download videos from YOUTUBE since you ugraded Firefox.

Since your recent upgrade to Firefox 5, I am unable to download Videos into RealPlayer through Firefox. I can with I.E. however I absolutely detest I.E.
How can I FIX this problem? I do NOT want to change my Browser...I love FireFox!

It notified me that it was not going to be compatible with Real Video so I skipped the update and somehow it ended up taking place anyway. Can we go back to the days when the Portable Version of Firefox wasn't automatically updatable? Nothing worse than getting a version forced on you that breaks compatibility. Why exactly do I need Firefox 5 anyway? I would much prefer an update that goes - "We have a new version. Go to our site to get it if you think you might want it" rather than one that comes down from one click of the mouse.

iPhoto does not support mts files, you need to convert them to mp4 using Handbreak, and then you can add them to your iPhoto/iMovie gallery.

I can purchase and transfer music all day long, but when I try to purchase videos, I get an Error message -- no code or number --- and it says try again later under advanced, check music purchases. When I do that, the same thing happens. The error message says cannot write to disk or something like that.

Hmm... I know this has to do with a corrupt folder or a folder without permissions. Recently purchased a Panasonic Lumix but cannot download video from camera to my Mac.

Cannot download videos onto ipod

i tried to download a couple videos from itunes and when th ey download it'll just come to a stop half way through the process and wont move again so i cancell it and go to advance then check for purchases on the itunes menu but it will say "there was an error downloading your puchased music. an unknown error occured (-50)."

are you downloading the vidieos and podcasts off itunes? if not they are in the wrong format. for the vidieo just use quick time and for podcasts use itunes and go up to the advanced menu and chose convert to ....... it maybe mp3 or some other ipod supported format.
now if you have dowloaded off itunes then try restoreing the ipod via the latest ipod updater.

I actually want help from the experts; and with my question everything is said. As I wrote: I returned to version 35.01 (US - before I had a German version - both worked or work) for the time being; with 36.0 almost everything is fine except that I cannot download videos any more.
The " educated guesses" seem to be correct except for the Shockwave; at least I couldn´t find it in the list.
Oh, I forgot: I got a message from my firewall when I had downloaded version 36, stating that it had blocked some features of this app, then listing those features, but giving the possibility to grant access to them ("Zugriff zulassen") on which I clicked. - See uploaded screenshot.
Any idea where the problem could be?

thanks for dealing with my Problem. I´m using the latest Version of downloadhelper; I mentioned that I downloaded the US-Version of 35.01, but the screenshot came from my German Windows 8.1.
I just downloaded 36 again & separately, got the same warning from Windows, clicked again on "grant Access" (Zugriff zulassen), tried out parallel 35.01 - Video download o.k. and 36 - Video download did not function. So I did not get further. The Firewall lets me - so it seems - download with one Version of Firefox and without any changes executed does not let me download with the new one.
