Cannot drag blue loops into track.

When I try and drag a preset/blue loop into my track, I get a message saying 'Not and Audio Track' as below. How can I fix this? Thank you.

You don't have to fix anything, becasue nothing is broken.
The Problem
Blue Apple Loops can only be dragged onto an Audio Track (Mic or Guitar). All your Tracks in your Screenshots are MIDI Tracks and that's why get the warning message.
The Solution
Create an Audio Track in your Project and drag the Blue Apple Loop onto its Track Lane.
Click on the Plus button above the Track List
That opens the "New Track Dialog" where you select the Mic Icon
Click Create and a new Audio Track is created in your Project

Cannot drag Indesign files into my Cloud space

Cannot drag Indesign files, or IDML versions of, into my Cloud space. Tried on home and office PCs, tried different ID files. This is a major problem for my workflow. HELP!

Sorry I haven’t replied before – just taken a short break away from office (and disconnected home PC!)
Our office OS is Windows XP. I would not be surprised if there were problems on office PC as I’m working in an NHS network environment and there are loads of security protocols and some functions disabled within it.
But my home PC is running Windows 7. In both environments I see the ‘Drag and drop to upload’ message, but after releasing the Indesign file in that window nothing more happens.
Just before I went off I discovered the ‘Upload’ button; hadn’t recognized it as such – I thought maybe it moved a file up out of a folder! Durr.....
That worked fine, so I can use that instead.
Is there any way to amend the date display for individual files? I keep getting confused with the month appearing first – European thing I guess.....

You just drag the spple loopf from the finder ro the Loop browser onto the sample area in the lower left of the gui.

Cannot drag MOV videos into timeline

Hi there,
So i have weird problem now with MOV files. After dragging into timeline the second one, different from the first one, I can't drag any more files. Including the first one, or other non-mov files. If I drag just the first one i can repeat it many times. In this case I can continue with other types. But then I cant add any movs. There is only audio to be moved.
What I can do is open it new sequence, and then use this single file sequence on primary timeline.
This is very annoying.
Please help.

Hmm, am not sure about codec; footage was shoot with iPhone 5. I can check it when I'm at computer.
QuickTime have been not updated recently I suppose.
One more fact I found last night - I can drag those files from new sequence into main timeline. Another words - I need to create new sequence for each single file, then I can use many in main timeline.

Cannot drag video transitions into timeline on FCE

Just picked up FCE today and have imported an imove '09 project correctly into FCE. Transitions were able to be dragged down into timeline at first but now do not work. Have I done something wrong here?
Any help would be most appreciated.

Cannot Drag & Drop pic into email

I just purchased a Mac Pro 2.66 now running 10.5.8. I am a long time Mac user but this one has me stumped.
When I drag a pic from my desktop to an email (using any email client , Mac Mail, AOL mail or gmail) it inserts the path of the where the pic is (in this case the desktop) and not the pic like it used to do.
This is also true if I drag it from iPhoto etc.
What is happening here? Is there a setting somewhere that I have missed?
By the way this is happening on my wife's G3 now and she is running OS 10.4.11
Any help to resolve this would be appreciated.

I'm not certain and don't want to speculate. Seems to me this was possible in previous versions of Mac software like Mail.

If you are accessing AOL mail at their website, you can attach images/documents the option for re-sizing isn't available. But... there is a Help Menu. After you Login it's on right side of the window.
Now, if you use AOL software, you might have the option for resizing.

It's exactly as I stated. Whenever I try to drag these kinds of loops (ESX24 / software instrument loops? the ones marked in green with the white music note next to them) from the loop browser into the timeline a message comes up saying Audio Not Found for that loop. And a new track is created automatically when loops are dragged into the timeline, so I'm not creating some other random / synth instrument track so I'm not sure what the deal is... But perhaps I'll try creating a software instrument track first and then drag the loop into that track and see what happens - maybe there's something with the default settings that automatically creates audio tracks whenever loops are imported?

Premiere Pro CS3: Can't drag and drop into project window

I had been using PP CS3 with Windows 7 64-bit RC successfully for about half a year. Recently I did a clean install of the final, released version of Win 7, and now I cannot drag and drop into the project window.
I am sure I used to be able to do this. Having to import every clip, instead of just dragging it from Bridge (CS4), is a major headache. Ok, a minor one. But is there anything I can do to regain this capability?

I just discovered the problem isn't PP CS3 at all.
The problem is Bridge CS4. Or, more accurately, how I am running it.
In order to do drag and drop from Bridge, it needs to be executed in "Run as administrator" mode.
So, fantastic! There is an quick, easy solution that works.

You probably put Midi loops (green) on audio tracks, and audio loops (blue) on Midi tracks.

Cannot Drag & Drop Audio Files from iTunes into Project Timeline

Hello,
I have an iMovie (10.0.6) project open. I click the iTunes icon to fetch an audio track and it won't allow me to drag/drop it into the timeline. Yet it allows me to drag/drop other tracks from the same playlist (all from the same CD). All tracks are the same file type and about the same size/length, yet one of them (the one i want) cannot be dragged/dropped into the timeline. This happened with another iMovie project recently (different tracks from a different CD, but same idea: can't drag/drop one track, but i'm able to drag/drop others).
Your help is appreciated!

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

Installed update of Firefox, but cannot drag into applications folder, it indicates that "The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges", so how can I complete the install?

I try to drag the app into the applications folder where an old app of firefox exists and it asks me if I want to replace it and after i say yes it gives me the operation cannot be completed message.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
