Cannot duplex print on Win 7. Duplex Unit "Install" not available

Printer Photosmart C6280. System Win 7 64bits Ultimate
The duplex printing was working fine on Windows XP. Bought a new computer, Win 7 and installed drivers and softwares from HP web site.
So far, I can only do manual duplexing. I tried following the instruction:
Step one: Add the Duplex Unit to your printer settings
On the Windows taskbar, Click the Windows icon ( ), and then click Devices and printers .
Right-click the printer icon ( ) for your product, click Printer Properties , and then click the product. The Printer Properties window opens.
Click the Device Settings tab.
If necessary, click the plus sign (+ ) next to Installable Options to expand the list.
Click Duplex Unit , and then click Installed .
Click Apply , and then click OK .
But the dropbox at item 5 "Duplex Unit" is disabled (grayed out). So what do I do from there?

This makes sense. However, I am the only user on this computer and my status is administrator. Anyways, I tried all combination of ctrl-right-click, shift-right-click, ctrl-shift-right-click in trying to get a "run as administrator" but none works. Any other ways to run the printer properties as administrator?

Lost duplex printing in Win 8.1

Everything printed double-sided on my HP Pro 1106dn using Acrobat Reader XI until i just upgraded to Win 8.1. Now there seems to be no way to get duplex printing anymore from Acrobat. No problems with other programs.
I can look for a Win 8.1 forum to post there too, but it seems to be an Adobe problem. This would never have gotten by me when I was a systems programmer. This is not USA standard quality!

I created a new internal UoM with the following information:
Int. meas. unit: PL2
commercial: PL
Measurement unit text: Pallet
ISO code: PL
When shopping for an item with this UoM 'PL' I get the error below, and the price is reverted to $0.
Line 1: Item price should not be zero
Line 1: Condition 01PB cannot be processed manually
Line 1: The physical unit PL2 is not available
When I click 'check', messages go away except price. When I enter price and click check, all messages come back and price reverts to $0. For a catalog item only the following message is shown:
Line 1: The physical unit PL2 is not available
any input would be apprecitated.

My Canon MX310 Series Printer failed as the software "is currently not available from the Software Update Server"? What is the matter with Apple OSX Mountain Lion?

Mountain Lion stopped working with our Canon MX310 Printer? Why is the software not available from the Software Update Server?

The printer and ICA scanner driver is available from Apple. There is probably some other reason why you cannot get the drivers.
You can also get the drivers from Canon.
But reading your post it sounds like you were printing to the MX310 and recently it has stopped printing. Is this the case?

HP Duplex prints first page non-duplex?

I have upgraded to Lion and am experiencing problems printing duplex (two-sided) documents on HP printers (tested on the HP Laserjet 4010 and 9050). The first page will print non-duplex (one-sided) as if it is a separate cover page. The remaining pages will properly print in duplex format. This problems occurs when printing both in Word (2011) and printing pdfs from preview.
I tried going to the HP website to download the drivers directly for Lion, but it said to use system update for the drivers. Doh! Any ideas? My brain is starting to hurt.

You should use Software Update to install the specific driver for your printer. You can also download the full set of drivers from http://support.apple.com/kb/DL907. What version of the HP driver are you using? Please post back if the duplex issue remains after updating the drivers.

Print Preview of Out bound delivery is not available in VL71

Hi Experts,
             I have created Outbound delivery with VL10B (against Purchase Order) and also set up output parameter in VL02N (Extra->elivery output -> Header)
             Now I want to take Print out of this Outbound delivey in VL71 , I cant even see the Print preview. I have already maintained Output type , Access sequence and condition table in SPRO . I have also maintained condition record also (with delivery type and Shipping point).
              Any help on this

Check if output triggered successfully in delivery.
If yes, then please use indicator "Processing Mode" appropiately on the main selection screen of VL71.
If not, please see the error and try to resolve it.
Also check from main screen of VL02n where you enter delivery no, don't go inside the delivery screen, from main screen itself,
Outbound delivery> Issue Delivery output

Pdf files fail to print as the message says Adobe is not available in FF

Adobe acrobat reader running cannot be used to view PDF files in a WEB browser.
That is the error report i am getting, I have used explorer to the same site and download documents with sucess

TS1398 Turn the wifi on and off? I think I have a serious problem here. I cannot even press the on and off because its not available (the color is grey not black). I think this is why Apple is constantly losing a buyer and user. Slow action.

Cannot Connect to Time Capsule: "the backup disk is not available"

I am having a problem that I can't diagnose with my 500 GB Time Capsule (my HD is 128GB). The firmware is current. I first did a search for 'the backup disk is not available' since that is the message displayed in the Time Machine window (with the red checkmark).The Time Machine widget says this:

I also renewed the DHCP lease, tried to do 'connect as' from the Sidebar window, also via go-> connect to server ("there was an error connecting to the server Timecapsule; Check the server name or IP address & try again"), go to Time Machine under System Preferences, select "None" for hard drive, turned off Time Machine, then turned it back on and reselect Time Capsule as the hard drive to backup (timed out), tried re-setting up the Time Capsule both automatic & manual (times out when reading TC configuration)., and finally, writing this post.
I am connected to the internet with the Time Capsule, and I am concerned about making too many changes, because I don't want to risk losing my internet connection, since that seems to be working fine. I was able to make regular backups until yesterday. Tracing my steps from when it used to work to when it 'broke':
1)I attempted (unsuccessfully) to mount the Time Capsule so that I could do a search on it. (I didn't realize at the time that I couldn't mount a wireless device.)
2)The only other thing I did was drag some music folders that I wanted backed up next to my sparsebundle backup (which I can no longer see, because the Time Capsule is no longer accessible via the finder) only to get the spinning ball with the copying window, which I couldn't force quit unless I quit the Finder. So, I force quit, rebooted, and repaired the disk/permissions with disk utility.
Did I do something wrong by dragging & dropping my files over trying to use it as a backup AND a an external HD? Or trying to mount the drive? Or maybe since adding several gigs of music, I took up too much space & now don't have room for a backup? (In which case, I need to access the drive & erase the music, and start over: if only I could SEE it I could do that.)
I am still doing searches trying to see what I need to do; I haven't yet re-set it, due to my concern about my internet connection, which could potentially prevent me from getting any information to fix it. At this time, I am not sure if this is a Time Capsule, Time Machine, or Airport issue. During the time that I have been writing this, the red check changed to 'connecting' but then the 'delayed - Time Machine is not available' message came back up

This is just standard windows.. woops, Mac OS networking now.

Cannot access Firefox home page - HTTP Status 404 resource not available

Firefox worked fine, had multiple pages upon opening for weeks, then switched back to single tab home page, then switched back to multiple. Entered about home page/gmail (no doubt wrong, but I'm a troglodyte), and after that, got the above error message. Uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox (2x), same error message every time. Download seems to go smoothly, but no luck getting to home page.

I found that while configuration of AM there was an warning
Command deploy executed successfully with following warning messages: Error occurred during application loading phase. The application will not run properly. Please fix your application and redeploy.
WARNING: com.sun.enterprise.deployment.backend.IASDeploymentException: ContainerBase.addChild: start: LifecycleException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
Successfully deployed /amserverthis might help in resolving the issue.

Cannot connect to itunes store. Says item requested not available in US store

When I start iTunes, an error appears that says, "Your request could not be completed. The item you've requested is not currently available in the US store." However, if I open iTunes from a link on a web page, it gets me to the store. Any ideas what is wrong and how I can fix this?

HP Laserjet 3015; Win 7; no duplex printing

I just upgraded to a new computer with Windows 7 using my old Laserjet 3015 (3-in-1) printer. Old setup with XP I could print duplex (printing on both sides). Now I cannot with Win 7.. I checked both printer-properties and printer-preferences for duplex printing.,Doesn't do duplex. I downloaded a new (?) driver for PCL5, no change. Called HP Help, after 1/2 hour and checking the same, did not help.
Can anyone suggest what should I do?

Hi Peter,
Please check the Device Settings configuration:
Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers
Right click the PCL 5 printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
Click the Device Settings tab.
Locate the Two-Sided Printing Accessory option - is it set as installed?
If not, change the value to Installed.
Can you see the Two-Sided printing option under the Printing Shortcuts / Finishing tab?

Officejet 6500 duplex printing paper jam

Every time I run duplex printing, paper stucks inside duplexing unit. It just gets smashed.
Is there a solution for that?

I have just bought an OfficeJet 6500 and am also having major problems if I try to use automatic duplex printing. The first side prints ok then waits a while to dry but when it tries to print the second side the printer jams every time. When I remove the duplexing unit the paper is always concertina'ed between the unit and the rollers inside the printer. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be really grateful! This is one of the features I was hoping to make use of.

HP Pro 200 M276nw Color Printer Duplex printing with Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10

So, I have been trying to use the duplex printing feature with my Mac. However, I havne't been able to figure it out. I see the option for manual duplex printing, but the actual duplex printing feature is not working.
Any advice?

I see that you are experiencing issues duplexing from Yosemite. I will certainly do my best to help you.
Did you download and install the latest software for Yosemite for the printer?
HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color M276 Full Feature Software and Drivers.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. Make sure it shows just the printer's name.
Click the Apple menu and then click System Preferences. Click Printers & Scanners, highlight the printer name on the left side and on the right side of the screen it should show the printer's name. (Laserjet M276)
If the full printer name isn't listed correctly, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.
Now try and print two sided.
On the File menu, click the Print option.
Open the Finishing menu, and click the Manual Duplex tab or open the Manual Duplex menu.
Click the Manual Duplex box and select a binding option.
Click the Print button. Follow the instructions in the pop-up window that appears on the computer screen before replacing the output stack in Tray 1 for printing the second half.
If the issue persists, connect the printer to the Mac by a USB cable and test the printer. Just to rule out a network issue, if the printer is networked.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)

Duplex printing- 2540 all-in-one desk jet

Just bought an all-in-one in the online manual it says how to set up duplex printing for OS X 10.7 however when going into system preferences the option in the drivers tab for duplex does not appear. Does the printer actuall allow for duplex printing or do i need to install another driver?

Hi Chris,
The Deskjet 2540 do not support Automtic Duplex Printing.
As the specific device provide manual duplexing only you may perform manual duplexing as following:
In order to perform manual duplexing, you shouls use the Pages to Print setting, as you may find listed within the Printing on both sides of the paper manually section below:
