Cannot enroll devices to Afaria via HTTPS relay

Hello,
I have read a lot on these forums, about these problems, but cannot find the resolution.
Relay server seems to work, I have 5 RSOenablers (afaria,CA,IOS,Enrollment,Package). I also have configured RS on a relay server as a service, it looks like relaying is OK.
I have a problem enrolling any device (iOS or Android). with iOS I get to the profile installation, SCEP is managed OK, but when it should proceed it just hangs...the same is with Android. I open the Afaria app and enter the enrollment code. The enrollment code is accepted and the client starts to connect via https than hangs.
I have tried various things that I have found on the forum, and I am not sure what is correct and what is not. What certificates exactly do I need on Enrollment server (iphoneserver installation)? Is this the certificate with FQDN of Afaria server or FQDN of relay server? Which certificate do I have to use for "Device communication" page in Afaria? I am a little confused and am not sure how this should be installed...haven`t found any instructions.
I am sending you the logs of Android connection, I hope you can see something. I can see that there is an error at enrollment server connection (EV-Afaria-Aips) and the webpage returns 403 Forbidden...
I also get the error in Afaria logs:
XRS1391: Unable to establish SSL Connection with client at IP address 192.168.253.79.  EXPLANATION: A Client requested a SSL or HTTPS connection on this server, but the SSL handshake could not be completed. (Failing function: ASSLSocket::Init.  Return code: 5.)
I am attaching the logs.Probably this is something with certificates.
Thank you very much!
Rok

Hello Rok,
Can you let us know your Afaria Version?
Looks like issue with SSL cert configuration. Have you validated your SSL configuration?
1. SSL cert need to be installed/configured on Relay Server
2. Same cert has to be imported into Personal and Trusted store of Afaria Server.
3. Reinstall Enrollment Server component and select this cert while setup.
4. See if you can launch Relay server status page with https without any certificate error.
Also let me know if you have checked 'Use https for Relay server connections' in Enrollment component page. If it is checked, then uncheck it and then try connecting.
Thanks,
Srikanth

    Hi Tamir,
I assume you are using Internal Use Rights licenses in you tenants, please verify if they expired.

  • Cannot enroll devices

    Hello,
We have set up SCCM 2012 R2 + Intune integration, configured DirSync and added test users collection for Intune connector in SCCM.
But we have a problem that Cloudusersync.log in SCCM reports that
"Failed to add user UserUPN; reason UserNotFound"
I suppose this is the reason why I can't enroll my Andriod device. What should I check first?
    Thanks

Have you added UPNs to Active Directory to match the public domain you added in Intune?
Has DirSync synced correctly yet? Do you see your users in Intune (with your domain, not the onmicrosoft default domain)?
I have a guide here which describes the entire process

    Hello
I have installed sap business one 8.81 PL4 on a windows 7 x64 with integration services (AKA B1if) to access by iPad.
I follow the installation manual to access by https required by 8.81 but, when starting the application on iPad, after inserting password, the appllication remains in stand by waiting the server connection.
The same configuration on sap business one 8.8 PL 20 without https works properly.

  • SPA devices - factory reset/upgrade firmware via HTTP?

I've a number of clients using SPA502G's, SPA504G's, and some of the older/Linksys SPA-922 devices with a hosted PBX.
Getting these devices to resync via http is really handy, e.g.
    http://192.168.1.12/admin/resync?http://prov.domainname.com/something
I also seem to be able to reboot them via http using:
    http://192.168.1.12/admin/reboot
I've just checked the provisioning guide to see if there's any documentation suggesting that I can perform other functions via http, namely:
    Firmware updates, or
    Factory reset
    Any clues?
Similarly, I understand that a sip notification can also force a resync/update, but I can't find any official documentation describing how the SIP message should be formatted, e.g. to specify a URL in the notification.
Can anybody provide pointers to documentation for these?
    Thanks in advance!
    Mark

You can upgrade like the following
    http://192.168.1.12/upgrade?http://domain.com/filename.bin

  • Can't enroll devices with Profile Manager - invalid key

n my case I can install profiles on devices from Profile Manager page but I cannot enroll devices.
The certificate I download to enroll is reject by my MacBook Pro Lion: Says Invalid blablabla at the end:
Now I have done log research and I now exactly and understand why it doesn't work:
the scep_helper daemon is supposed to listen to port 1640 TCP (which you should forward to your server by the way, if you want to be able to enroll devices) and provide the requsting client the root CA that signed the certificate. In my case, it can't find the root CAT to provide the client with so it can finalize the cert validation process.
In my case, that's what I see in the log:
    Jul 29 02:12:44 teknologism scep_helper[1638]: SCEP_HELPER: /SourceCache/RemoteDeviceManagement/RemoteDeviceManagement-701.70/scep_helper/m ain.m:727 'status = SCEPGetCACert(session, NULL, 0)' = -25300

Jul 29 02:12:44 teknologism ProfileManager[516]: Could not retrieve root certificate from open directory server.
No , as for the bad news: I have no idea on how to fix. Have dug into scep_helper, googled etc. Not a single clue on how to check it's configuration or even why it can't find the root CA. By the way everyhting else (I really mean everything, ical, cardav, web, wiki etc.) work great. And profile manager too, it's just the enroll thingy that doesn't work. And the root CA cert is in /etc/certificates. My server a legit Class 1 SSL cert signed by a system trsuted CA (Startfiel to name it)
I have tried with other certs etc... It's a no go.
    Can anyone help ??
How can I add that missing CA Cert in opendirectory ?

  • How to send command to device via HTTP

    Hy everyone,

  • Enroll to Prof.Man. via Configurator, during setup.

    Hi!
I would like to enroll devices to my OS X Server - Profile Manager during Setup Assistant, after setting device as supervised via the Apple Configurator, but i can't figure out how.
What MDM server URL should i add in the Device Enrollment Payload? https://my.server.com/?????
Do i need to include any certificates, trusted profiles, enrollment profile or such?
    Thanks!

I'll break you the bad news. I've spoken to a Crapple 'engineer' today and was advised that you can't really bypass having an itunes account per device.
Apple Colloquially known as Crapple. Need to run 2 models. Why they haven't done this is beyond me, its killing their market. Especially in the education sector.
    1. The current model where by you can distribute licences to the end user's itunes account - and revoke.
    2. The devices remain under a central account and scope of control through an MDM and licences are bound to the UUID of the device.
It couldn't get any simpler than that.
Will we ever see it? I highly doubt it. Another half *** company dealing half assed solutions to the world.
I live for the day Apple forcloses due to the ridiculous close minded garbage they put out.

    Hi  ,
Before you configure SharePoint 2013 to use Office Web Apps Server via HTTPS, make sure that you have set up Office Web Apps Server by following the steps in Deploy
a single-server Office Web Apps Server farm that uses HTTPS or Deploy a multi-server, load-balanced Office Web Apps Server farm
    that uses HTTPS.

  • Submitting a PDF form via HTTP Post: Beginner's Questions

    Hi,
I am completely new to PDF forms, so I have been finding the documentation and options overwhelming.
I am hoping to get pointed to the documentation/tutorials/examples I really need.
I would like to build a "proof of concept" for my boss.  I would like to include a screen in our Java ( JSP & Spring ) webapp where either a PDF form is embedded or is accessed via a link.
    I have
Adobe Acrobat Distiller X standard license
    Adobe Acrobat X Standard
    Microsoft Office 2010
I made a small, 3 field Microsoft Word form.  I then converted it via DIstiller into a PDF form.
I then found this document about how to submit a PDF form to a server side component:
    http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/form-submit-e-mail-demystified
My big problem with this document it doesn't have an example nor an example showing what is going on in a full HTML page.   As I result I have some questions:
Can I see such an example somewhere?
Does the call to the javascript function doc.SubmitForm(urlToMyServerSideComponent) go in a script tag on the HTML page like other javascripts?
Can I execute that submit function from an HTML button or do I need to put a "submit" button on the PDF form?
Do I need Adobe LiveCycle in order to create a PDF form with a "submit" button?  Free versions?
Can I send via HTTP POST ?
Do I need Adobe LiveCycle to crate a PDF form with a digital signature?
Is there a document/tutorial that fits where I am starting off from? ( Please no books, I am tyring to show my boss that this is something that can be done, in a reasonable amount of time, not time to get and go through a book ).
Thanks in advance for any tips that get me pointed in the right direction
    Steve

To answer some of your specific questions:
2, 3. The submit form button needs to be on the PDF. You can either configure a Submit Form action or use the submitForm JavaScript method.
4, 6: No to both questions. You can create the form in Acrobat. Such forms are knows as Acroforms, as opposed to XFA forms that are created with LiveCycle Designer. Acroforms have wider support.
5: Yes, that's the method that's used when submitting to a web server. You have your choice of formats. The "HTML Form" option causes the form data to be submitted in the same format as an HTML form, so the same type of server-side code can be used to process the data. As Dave's tutorial shows, the server should return an FDF as the response, however, as opposed to HTML content.
It's a mistake to try to embed the PDF in a web page. So much depends on the user's browser, PDF viewer, and how both are configured. PDF forms can be submitted directly from Adobe Reader/Acrobat, so it's not necessary for them to be viewed in a browser. Note that Adobe Reader for iOS/Android don't yet support submitting to a web server (apart from FormsCentral), but that's is supposedly being worked on.
Since you mentioned digital signatures, be aware that for Reader users to be able to sign, the document has to be Reader-enabled, either with Acrobat Pro or LiveCycle Reader Extensions (which is not the same as LiveCycle Designer). Digital signatures in PDF forms are not yet supported on mobile devices. Also, you will want to submit the entire PDF, as opposed to just the form data, when submitting a digitally signed form.

This is the message I get when connecting a camera on binoculars to ipad.  Is there a work around the camera will also load to a SD card

    There are a few options:
    1. If your camera supports it, you can try a low power mode, or picture transfer mode so it does not attempt to charge from the iPad. some cameras have this.
    2. You can add a powered USB hub between the iPad and the camera, so the camera uses the usb hub's power instead of trying to charge from the iPad.
    3. You can get the SD card reader and read the photos direcltly off of the card instead of through the camera.
    Depending on model of iPad:

Some cameras are designed to use the power suppled via USB when they're plugged into another device, usually a PC or laptop. The iPad does not supply sufficient power for a camera. The iPad Camera kit allows for either a camera to be plugged in only for the transfer of photos, not as a power sourse, or the removal of the SD Card from a camera so it can transfer photos as an alternative.
