I left a message a few hours ago. Managed to get hold of tech support via chat. Uninstalled and reinstalled...thought all was OK. Back to square one. Now cannot find chat help. LOST!! Its been 6 hours and still I cannot use my Adobe X! Pro!!!

That is because you apparently did an upgrade. The upgrade requires the SN of the qualifying product to prove you own it. Keep in mind this is a user forum and not customer support. Don't expect and answer immediately. Many of us only check in once a day or so -- we do have another life. Glad you got a solution. From support that is often a lucky statement.

Cannot enter serial number- PSE 10.

On install of PSE 10, the serial number field would not accept the serial number. It took 3 digits - not more. So I installed it as a trial version, thinking I could enter the serial number after install. Not so, the field would not accept 1 character. What do I do with this situation? By the way, this is a Costco version of PSE 10... I had PSE 9 on my computer before installing the trialversion of 10.

Really need some help here - in serious trouble.
We have a vista machine running at work, due to this the IT department will not allow it to be on the network (they will not give a reason why - just flat out refuse)
They kindly installed Photoshop from a site license, but we now need to install illustrator. We have purchased illustrator, but when we intall it does not ask for the serial. When you then try and start the program you get a serial has expired error.
I have tried uninstalling illustrator and re-installing but keep getting the same error.
I don't want to have to use the clean utility as we will lose our photoshop version and IT will probably not want to re-install.
Obviously there is an old serial number on the machine - is there any way to find the file and manually delete it so we can re-enter our new one?
Really need help here fast :-(

Is this Illustrator CS3 or CS4? If not, then the problem might be because earlier versions are not compatible with Vista. Try searching the forums for the error message, though, and you might find a solution.

How to enter serial number for sale order line which is in shipped status

We have 2 different items which are defined as Serialized at Sale order issue at item definition.
In one sale order,User has forgot to add serial number to one of the item at Ship confirm stage.
He has entered serial number correctly to other item.
Now the both Sale order lines are in Shipped status if we view them through Shipping>transactions.
I am technical guy and new to OM.Could you please let me know the process to enter the serial number for the item to which user has missed it

Since the item is already shipped, you cannot enter serial number for this line.
you have to enter serial numbers after pick confirm only.

As a workaround for the previous lines do RMA and try to receive the goods back to your subinventory.
For all new transactions follow the above notes.

Normally if a Mac does not recognize a keyboard it asks you to press certain keys to identify the keyboard. What is happening on screen with this keyboard? What serial number are you referring to?

iOS devices cannnot be tracked or located with just the serial number. Unless you shared your Apple ID and password with anyone, then your account cannot be accessed at the iTunes Store.

You likely have a redemption code on the box that you have to enter into an Adobe website to convert that into a serial number.

Pro Tools is curretnly not compatible with Maverick. Also, I believe that Pro Tools 10 only allows 4GB ram to be utilized (not sure )

You can use Activity Monitor to check if apps run as 32 or 64 bit - simply look at the "Kind" column (you may need to select it under View -> Columns) and see if the app in question is listed as "Intel" i.e. 32 bit or as "Intel (64 bit)".
While in Activity Monitor you can also check if Pro Tools is close to the 3-4 GB limit of a 32 bit app - if you aren't you will probably not benefit from more RAM.
Your MacPro (it appears to be a Early 2009 model) should have come with a small booklet showing how to install RAM and what kind of RAM that you need. Any RAM that fulfills the requirements should work but your safest choice is probably to buy from a retailer/online store that supports Macs as they will usually know what kind of RAM you need for your mac model.
Upgrading the CPUs should be possible, but I haven't seen Apple document how to do this, so you will probably have to google around a bit to find instructions and CPU part numbers.
Your choice of CPUs will also be limited by the motherboard and CPU socket so you may be limited to faster version of your current CPU chip and some slightly newer versions.
Going from your current CPU to the fastest version included in the 2009 MacPros would be going from 2.26 GHz to 2.93 GHz. This would only give a modest 30% speed boost. Using newer and highly clocked CPUs might boost this somewhat more maybe to 50% ?

Your CS6 must have been purchased as an upgrade. What it is asking you to select/provide is the name/serial number of the previous version you purchased that qualifies you to install and activate the CS6 upgrade version... this would be likely be one of CS3 thru CS5.5.

start the installation of design premium cs5.5 just to make sure you're using the correct serial number. once your serial number is accepted you'll see a screen giving you the option to install none, some or all of the cs5.5 programs. at that point you can quit and not install anything having verified your cs5.5 serial number if you want nothing cs5.5 on your computer.
on the other hand, if your cs5.5 serial number is not accepted, you'll pinpoint the problem.
or, if your cs5.5 number is accepted, you could install a cs5.5 program and then install cs6. it should recognize you have a cs5.5 program installed and NOT prompt you for you cs5.5 serial number allowing you to continue with your cs6 installation.

did you purchase your product from these firms like Amazon? If yes, this is not a serial number, only a code with which you can request a serial number from Adobe. Please have a look at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html. (Start here: How did you purchase your product?)
The following part, so I just see at least, ceased to exist on my Adobe website, everything takes place in the link from above. I leave it as an info yet, it might still fit for you. For this purpose, please click your way through to your Adobe Store and find the button "Get Serial Number". Fill in the form and after a while you will get the real serial number.
