Cannot enter x.y.z.255 as static IP on E2500

My ISP assigned me a static IP of x.y.z.255 with a mask of 255.255.0.0. When I try to enter that into my E2500 it says "The value is out of range [1 - 254]." and sets the IP's 255 field to 0. If the mask was 255.255.255.0, that error would be correct because the first and last numbers are excluded from assignment. However, with my subnet, the first and last numbers are x.y.0,0 and x.y.255.255, and thus x.y.z.255 is valid (assuming z is not 0 or 255, which mine is not). Is there a workaround for this, or did I just buy an expensive paperweight?

Hi BennTech, the device does not really support Class B subnetting. It only supports Class C subnet so it can only be 255.255.255.0.

the settings are gone, i guess. But even worse, I cannot get the iPad2 to play Full HD thru the Apple digital AV adaptor using apps that support (and advertise this), like AVPlayer HD. This definiteley used to work before one of the last iOS upgrades. (I am now at 5.1.1).

I purchased a new Iphone 5S about a couple of months back. The phone use to hang up occassionally with a white screen and the black apple logo on it. Two days back the screen went unresponsive. I cannot enter the lock code. Everything seems to be normal otherwise. I can see the Atnt signal, I get calls. The find my iphone app on a different device can locate my iphone. I can even take screenshot by pressing the home key and power button simultaneously.
I took the phone to apple store and they say they will issue me a new phone. I dnt mind but I will loose the data on the phone. It was never backed up because my icloud is filled with data from my ipad. Is there a work around to get the data back.?

Are you sure that the battery is not empty: when the battery is VERY empty (that is when it was on and a long time off the charger) it may take an hour or even more to start charging with the charger connected. When you have an iPad charger you can also use that one, and it charges a bit faster.

Hi Experts,
I'm having these error "You cannot enter a partner function for output NEU" (message VN041) when I tried to assign a partner function (e.g OA) in the conditions records for application "EV" (Purchase outline agreement). The system do not allow me to do this for any doc type (LP, LPA, MK, OA, etc). I'm using t-code NACE or MN08.
I want to assign partner for key combination "Document Type". The conditions is already there but with no value, so I want to assign partner function "OA" or "VR".
I already check all the configuration and looks fine. For example, define possible partner functions for output type "NEU" for application "EV" (Purc outline agree).
Hope you can help me to find the problem.

I have the error in NACE or using tcode MN08.
As soon I executed those transaction the system shows the condition records created for varios Doc Type (e.g LP, LPA, MK, etc) but with no partner function assigned. For example:
Doc. Type / Name                     /             Funct /   Partner     /            Medium / Date/time /   Language
LP        /       Scheduling Agreement     / blank / blank /                                          2      /          3   /              EN
LPA      /      Scheduling Agreement                              / blank    / blank   /                1        /       3         /        EN
For example, I try to assign function "OA" for Doc. Type "LP", choose value from quickpick. Then when I press enter, the system give me the error "You cannot enter a partner function for output NEU", message no. VN041. Do not allow me to continue, so I have to leave this field blank, with no change.

system: ECC: 6.0
Scenario1: Inter company STO with import process
PO created and delivery created and TO created and confirmed and PGI done.and SD invoice done
After this foreign trade module process starts and creating shipment and entering delivery import costs and releasing import costs from the custom transaction which will update the delivery costs into PO through BAPI_PO_CHNAGE
here i am getting the above error Message no. V1631-You cannot enter new delivery costs
but when i am adding delivery conditions manually in ME22N system accepting
scenario2:
PO created and delivery created and TO created and confirmed
foreign trade module process starts and creating shipment and entering delivery import costs and releasing import costs from the custom transaction
successfully updating delivery conditions in PO
scenario 3:
PO created and delivery created and TO created and confirmed
Foreign trade module process starts and creating shipment and entering delivery import costs and releasing import costs from the custom transaction
successfully updating delivery conditions in PO
PGI done and SD invoce done and GR completed
After that trying to add delivery conditions and getting the same error
Question: why i am not able to update the conditions through BAPI and i am able to update conditions in ME22N manually in scenario1??

Getting issue after PGI. no GR done.

I can no longer sync my IPAD2 to my ITUNES and I cannot enter the ITUNES store.

Up until recently, I was able to enter the ITunes store and sync my IPAD2. Now I cannot enter the ITune store and cannot sync my IPAD2. Not sure what to do. Can anyone help if you have had the same issue?

Sounds like there is a conflict between iTunes and the security software on your computer. What secuirty software is running on your computer? Have you update the security software or iTunes before this started happening?

If you use Windows program to partition the Hard Drive, the Apple partition gets destroyed.
Windows does not understand it is a guest on your Mac, and throws garabge wherever it pleases.

Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

I cannot enter text in the iTunes search box

I'm having a really bizarre problem with iTunes latest version (10.5,0.142). When I click in the search field in the upper right-hand corner of the program, I cannot enter any text--no text cursor appears. I can click on the little down arrow next to the magnifying glass and select "All," or "Artist," or "Album," etc, but I'm not able to enter text. It's like the focus doesn'tshift from the Library pane and any letters I type just cause the highlight for that window to drop down to the closest match to the character I typed, even though the focus has shifted to the search pane.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, but that does not correct this misbehavior.
Not sure if it's related, but I also no longer have the text menus available at the top of the window, whether the program is maximized or minimized and taking up only part of the screen (this is not a screen clipping problem--those text menus are no longer there, though you can get very small hotspots to appear near the upper left hand edge of the program window (when you have the program window in normal mode, rather than maximized), where those text menus would be, and if you click on the hotspots, the menus do appear.
But, by far, the first issue is the most perplexing.

Solved: This was caused by replacing the SegoeUI (Regular) true-type font. I have no idea what process or why that font was deleted, but finding the segoeui.ttf file on another Windows machine, emailing it to myself, saving it to disk, then right-clicking and choosing "Install" fixed this problem.

Cannot enter data into table with column named DATE

I have a table as follows:
CREATE TABLE PACKINGLINE (
SNO VARCHAR2(13),
"DATE" DATE DEFAULT SYSDATE,
PRDORDNO VARCHAR2(12),
NOW DATE DEFAULT SYSDATE,
CONSTRAINT PACKINGLINE_PK PRIMARY KEY ("SNO", "DATE"));
Note the "cleaverly" named DATE and NOW columns (yes, that is the name of the column... our company was bessed with a very clear SQL server DBA in the past)
This SQL statement works:
INSERT INTO PACKINGLINE (SNO, PRDORDNO) VALUES ('1000808972', '100080897');
However when I try use SQL Developer as follows I cannot enter data:
1. Open SQL Developer
2. Click on "Tables" then on my table named PACKINGLINE
3. Click the "Data" tab
4. Click the [+] "Insert Row" Icon
5. Enter the same data as above
6. Click Commit
7. The following error is shown in the log window and I cannot commit the data change.

I can copy and paste the above query into a normal SQL statement window and the data commits fine.

Its so flaky there really must be something wrong Mr Adobe support person....
If I load a PDF, do nothing, gently save it, reopen and then waiting for my trial dialogue to wake up so that I can click on continue trial... then save as extended reader blah.... then close. I have finally saved one that works!!!! but how difficult is that????

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.
