Cannot execute program
I have developed a standalone program, then i execute from the ABAP editor, but the report cannot execute properly, and shown a error message "No name free for internal report copy. Save the report first". After i save the report, the message still appear. How to solve it. Thanks~

Cannot execute 70SP04 MUP on MSA. Keeps giving error cannot open folder

I cannot execute an (70SP04) MUP on MSA. When the MUP runs, it keeps failing saying that it cannot write to location c:\program files\sap\mobile\app.net\Layout......
In the Client Upgrade log, "the error occurred in module ClientUpgrade.shared.ccompressor
<can't open for writing>
I have checked this folder, and granted full read/write/creation/deletion premissions to all users and cascaded these properties to all subordinate folders - no change. Same error. I even tried granting full rights to all folders inc and below C:\program files\sap\mobile Still same error - HELP?!

In case you're upgrading to 70sp04 and executing an MUP for that matter, I'd like to know if
you've already run the Hotfix.mup that comes bundled with 70sp04(Please see the 70sp04 Upgrade guide).
In case you've already done so, can you try removing the ReadOnly flag of the folder -
c:\program files\sap\mobile\app.net\MSA\Layout and then try running the MUP again.

Exception "Cannot run program" while using ProcessBuilder class

I try to start a program within a Java application using the ProcessBuilder class. This is the first time I use ProcessBuilder so I do not have any deep knowledge of it. Here is a snippet of my code:

Does anybody have an idea why this is not working? I tried to start another application like "notepad.exe" and that works fine. So it seems related to the fact
that the program I want to start is only available in a certain directory and not via the PATH env-variable.

LemmyOkay I guess I misinterpreted the JavaDocs regarding the directory method. The exception message is a little bit confusing too, because it seems like Java tries to find the Application within the specified
working directory.
I tried to use the full path with the ProcessBuilder constructor and it looks like this variant is working. I still have some trouble with the application itself but I was able to start another program which is
not in the PATH var, using the full path to the executable.

Installing Veritas SF on Solaris 10 5/08 - perl - cannot execute
Hi all,
I have been trying to install the Storage Foundation on a Solaris 10 5/08 box. Running ./installer from the DVD gives me quickly the following error message, 3 repeated lines (referring to file/folders on the DVD):

./installer: ./perl/SunOS/perl/bin/perl: cannot execute
./installer: ./perl/SunOS/perl/bin/perl: cannot execute
After installing Solaris I updated it and installed the companion programs. I also compiled and installed the more recent perl 5.8.8.
Does anyone have any idea why the Storage Foundation is giving me this? All the r/x. rights are in place.

We can make use of programs of Type - Include(I) in other type of ABAP Programs.
These Include programs cannot be executed directly but can be used as a part of the main program i.e Executable program - Type E.
So after creating your main program of type executable program then use the below line
REPORT ZM_SAMPLE_PROGRAM.
INCLUDE INC_PRG_NAME.
Now the code as availablein INC_PRG_NAME becomes part of the main program ZM_SAMPLE_PROGRAM.le
Also you can make use of this Include program in other executable/include programs too...

IDX5 - System is not a central XI; cannot start program
hi all -
Did anyone come across this error message - "System is not a central XI; cannot start program" when trying to execute the tcode - IDX5 on the XI box?
I pushed an IDOC - MATMAS05 from IDOC to XI. It doesn't come into XI.
1. I checked the SM58 on the R/3 side. No Messages.
2. I checked the IDX5 transaction on the XI side, that's when i get the above error message.
3. I checked the IDX2 transaction on the XI side, i get this error "I:000" - Anyone knows what it means?
4. SXMB_MONI doesn't show up anything.
5. R/3 - pushed idocs shows a status of 3.
Any ideas where to look for and how to solve the problem -IDX5 and IDX2.
Environment:
1. We are using SAP NW 2004s
2. SAP BASIS Component - SAP_BASIS - Release 7.00

I am using OWB 11gR2 and I am getting "perl" location error after start workflow for any dimension or fact.
*Cannot run program "/usr/bin/perl": CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified
The log is below. I am using Windows 2008 R2 OS and 11gR2 DB. The perl path is set in the environment variables and I can run the perl.exe from command line.
Why OWB is looking for the Unix base path "/usr/bin/perl": is a question for me.
If anybody knows the issue please guide me.

Runtime.getRuntime().exec() error message "cannot execute"
I'm trying to start another program written in c++ with the commands:
p=Runtime.getRuntime().exec("nameofmyprogram");
it works with other programs written in java, and also with ordinary unixcommands like "ls" etc. but when I try to start the c++-one I get the message: cannot execute.
I can start the program directly from the terminal window, so it's ok.
does anybody have any idea of what I'm doing wrong?
( my friend claims that it has to have a name ending with .exe, is that true?)
grateful for advice!My first guess would be that the program is not on the path and Java cannot find the executable, ls on the other hand is on the path..
I'm assuming that you are running on a unix system as you are using ls, so in this case your program does not need to end in exe, this is a windows thing. If your C++ program compiled on windows it would end in exe, but this is not the case on unix systems.
I would suggest you try either giving the exec method ./nameofmyprogram assuming java is working in the directory your compiled c++ program. The other is to give the exact location. -

Ever since i installed kasperesky software, i'm getting this msg, when i start my system: CANNOT EXECUTE "CEC_MAIN.EXE".

The CEC_MAIN.EXE belongs to the Camera Assistant software. The file you find on C:\Program Files\Camera Assistant Software for Toshiba.
I think the software will be blocked by Kaspersky Firewall. So allow the CEC_MAIN.EXE in the software and then the problem should be solved.

i'm upgrading Solman from SP04 to SP13 using SUM (SP12 patch 10) on windows 2012
and i faced error during Excution phase 5.6 in JAVA Stack.
phase : Excution - Actual Update
Error : An error has occurred during the execution of the Deploy software components step.
Could not stop SDM server. Cannot execute Java process for stopSDM with parameters 50018. Return code condition success evaluated to false for process java.exe for action ACTION_STOP

Notice how what's printed out doesn't start with a quote?
