Cannot export the framemaker graphic element

Hi you,
I need some help for exporting graphics on translation to XML. In general FM exports a changed graphic into a new *.cgm file. This works. Now I'd like to change the format to eps and wrote the read/write rules:
     element "Grafik" { is fm graphic element;
                               writer anchored frame export to file "$(entity).eps" as "EPSI";}
When I save the FM document to XML, the message occurs: cannot export the FrameMaker graphic element () into the specified graphic format.
The XML will be created an also the entity for the graphic, but not the needed graphic file. What is wrong?
Thanks,
Stucki78

Hi Maike,
the EPS is referenced in FM. In unstructured documents sometimes we added a text frame to the anchored frame, because it was easier for translation and we need only one graphic instead a graphic for each language. Now we want change to structured working in FM to give only one XML to the translator. The text frame then will cause a new graphic, but we still want translate the text inside the graphic. That is why we need EPS or something like this.
Do you have a better idea for the problem? We discussed the problem and think about leaving the text frame away and using a graphic for each language.

  • You cannot export the request at the movement -while releasing the request

    Hi.. Experts
    Today, we had message from our functional consultant that When he is trying to release the TRANSPORT REQUEST (not tasks) he is getting the error  " You cannot export the request at the movement "
    After 2 / 3 hours, we discovered file exists in Transport Profiel directory
    " /usr/sap/trans/bin" directory Fine Name :   T_OFF.ALL
    After removing that file - The request releasing were happening normally.
    In this juncture, Even though the issue is fixed ,
    We would like to learn how this file got created  and which transactions / which configurations will create this T_OFF.ALL file and stops all Transport releases
    Thanks in advance
    Rgds
    PR

    This file T_OFF.ALL has to be created manually in the bin directory to basically stop release of any transport request from all systems. No transaction creates it .

    I fight with the same error, it is curious that the schema from schemaLocation can not be validated. If i set the schema manually through an attribute it works. What i try to do is overwriting the resolveEntity in the handler to get the schema from another location and validate the xml against the schema specified in the attribute schemaLocation rather than setting it manually :-(

    yeah, in itunes if you select your phone, you should get tabs across the top for what to sync, under photos uncheck the box
    EDIT: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236 is the link to a apple support document with information on syncing photos using itunes.

  • Cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'html'

    I was getting an error when I was trying to validate the following XML file as below:
    cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'html'
    However the error below goes away when I type in
    <xhtml:html xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
    instead of "<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
    I am not sure why the second way works. I am not familiar with namespaces, so if anyone could tell me why the second approach works, i would be grateful. Or, is there any other reason also that makes the error appear..Please demystify. Thanks very much

  • Validation error: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element

    I use JAXP to do XML Parsing and validation. I use DOM and not SAX.
    My code is as follows:
    SchemaFactory schemaFactory = SchemaFactory.newInstance("http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema");
    File schemaLocation = new File("C:\\config\\JMS_properties.xsd");
    Schema schema = schemaFactory.newSchema(schemaLocation);

    // Add an error handler to the validator
    JMSErrorHandler errorHandler = new JMSErrorHandler();
    validator.setErrorHandler(errorHandler);
    // Create the dom factory
    DocumentBuilderFactory domFactory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
    // Set the namespace property
    domFactory.setNamespaceAware(true);
    // Create the document builder
    DocumentBuilder builder = domFactory.newDocumentBuilder();
    // Parse the xml file
    Document doc = builder.parse(xmlFile);
    // Create the dom source and destination
    // The destination will contain the doc augmented with the default attribute/element
    DOMSource source = new DOMSource(doc);
    DOMResult result = new DOMResult();
    // Validate and augment the source
    validator.validate(source, result);

        System.out.println("XML file is not valid");
        System.exit(1);
    // Get the augmented document
    this.augmented = (Document) result.getNode();When executing my code, I got:
    Validation error: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'JMSProperties'
    But the xml file has this element in it so I do not understand the meaning of that error.

    Next, you need to configure the parser factory to generate a parser that is namespace-aware parser, as well as validating:
      SAXParserFactory factory = SAXParserFactory.newInstance();
      factory.setNamespaceAware(true);
      factory.setValidating(true); I MISSED THE factory.setNamespaceAware(true); LINE!!!!

    Hi! Ive got an error: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'wsdl:definitions'
    My WSDL file was generated by PI.
    After import this WSDL-file to my Business Process to section Service Interfaces - I've got this error.
    But, it seems to be OK when I created the project, create a model by choosing the WSDL-file. All validators do not give me any error.

    Not sure what your version of OIM is, but I have seen this in R2PS1 even though all the OOTB jobs and custom jobs are working fine. So I guess this can be safetly ignored.

  • Why I cannot export the KB effect?

    After making a Slideshow in iPhoto using the KB effect, when I export it to iDVD by clicking on "Send to iDVD" button, The KB effect disappears. Then if I try to add the KB to iDVD I am not able to find it.
    I read older discussions where we are supposed to use iMovie as an intermediary between iPhoto and iDVD. Is this true? What a pain!
    Frank Secco

    After making a Slideshow in iPhoto using the KB effect, when I export it to iDVD by clicking on "Send to iDVD" button, The KB effect disappears.
    Something is messed up at tis stage. I use KB on iPhoto all the time, and the "Send to iDVD" retains the KB effect.
    Try the export over again.
    BTW, you can only add KB in iPhoto and iMovie, not in iDVD. But if KB is added in an iMovie or iPhoto slideshow, it should be retained in iDVD.
