Cannot find a qualifying product for serial number

I downloaded and installed the upgrade from Acrobat XI Standard to Acrobat XI Pro.  When I launch the product, it tells me that I have a valid serial number, but it cannot find a qualifying product on my computer.  There is a drop down list to select various products, but Acrobat XI Pro is not in the list.  This makes no sense to me.  What do I need to do to actaully get this program to register and run????

There is no upgrade path listed on the Adobe website from Acrobat XI Std to Acrobat XI Pro

The Acrobat XI Pro installer has searched your computer looking for one of the Acrobat versions listed on the above link which qualify for an upgrade to XI Pro. It didn't find any already installed.
Now it's asking you to manually select (from the dropdown) which eligible product (i.e. one of those in the link above which qualifies for an upgrade) you have a serial number for.
If you don't have a serial number for any eligible product then you'll be unable to use the upgrade.
If that's the case contact Adobe to discuss your options (which may include returning the upgrade)
