Cannot find backed Note in Icloud

I accidentally erased one of my notes on my iphone 4S. The Icloud backup says that one was done at 1:30 am but when I go into Icloud the last notes was 17 days ago. What happend to the back up from 1:30 AM this morning.

The iCloud backup backs up the device contents so you can restore the entire device from a backup. The Notes, Reminders, Contacts, etc. on icloud.com are syncronized with the content on your device (and vice versa), so deleting a note from your iPhone would also remove it from icloud.com.  If you want to restore your device from the iCloud backup, you should follow along with this overview: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4859

  • Cannot find my notes on icloud

I've back-upped my phone to the iCloud and cannot find my notes.  Does anyone know where they are stored?

Notes are not available when accessing iCloud via webmail access using a browser. Being included with your iPhone's backup via iCloud does not make the notes available there or anywhere else. That is for when restoring your iPhone with iTunes if wanted or needed or when wanting to transfer the backup for an old iPhone to a new iPhone.
Notes can be synced over the air with your iCloud account and with a supported application on your computer with your iCloud account.

  • HT6150 Upgraded to OS X 10.9.2 and cannot find some notes that I have on my iphone

During the weekend I upgraded to OS X 10.9.2 on my MacBook Pro and cannot find some notes that I have on my iphone. I see the notes on my iphone but cannot see them in Notes on my MacBook Pro. Please help!!!

    from your Mac login
Apple Menu()>System Preferences>Icloud> and see that your notes are turned on to synch.

  • Since I moved to OS X Maverick, I cannot synchronize my notes from iCloud to my Mac. Any idea how to overcome this? Thanks

I had this problem after updating too. On my Mac, I went into System Preferences>ICloud> and unchecked Notes. Then I restarted my computer and went back to System Preferences and checked Notes. The sync worked fine after that (at least for now!). Must be a bug in the update. Hope this works for you too.

  • I cannot find the icon of Icloud. I have only Mobile me, I cannot find the icon of Icloud. I have only Mobile me

Please always state your operating system when you have a question. From your description it is evident that you have Snow Leopard or earlier.
The minimum requirement for iCloud is Lion 10.7.5 (Mavericks preferred): the iCloud Preference Pane does not appear on earlier systems - the MobileMe pane appears on Lion and earlier but is non non-functional - you cannot now open or access a MobileMe account.
To make use of iCloud you will have to upgrade your Mac to Lion or Mavericks, provided it meets the requirements.
    The requirements for Lion are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
    2GB of memory
    OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
    7GB of available space
Lion is available in the Online Apple Store ($19.99). Mountain Lion (10.8.x) is also available there at the same price but there seems little point as the system requirements are the same for Mavericks (10.9.x) - which is free - unless you need to run specific software which will run on Mountain Lion only.
The requirements for Mountain Lion and Mavericks are:
    OS X v10.6.8 or later
    2GB of memory
    8GB of available space
      and the supported models are:
    iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
    Xserve (Early 2009)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
It is available from the Mac App Store (in Applications).
You should be aware that PPC programs (such as AppleWorks) will not run on Lion or above; and some other applications may not be compatible - there is a useful compatibility checklist at http://roaringapps.com/apps:table
If you are running Leopard on an Intel Mac you will have to upgrade to Snow Leopard to access the Mac App Store - it's available in the online Apple Store. However if you have a PPC Mac you cannot run Snow Leopard and cannot proceed further.

  • I cannot find videos (not movies) that i have transferred to my macbook pro from an external hard drive, these files used to be on my windows PC!

I cannot find videos (not movies) that i have transferred to my macbook pro from an external hard drive, these files used to be on my windows PC. Photos and a few of the videos came over but i am missing the majority of the videos. Help please!!! I have tried omnidisksweeper with no success in finding them.
in my Usage it says i have over 40 gb of movies when i only have about 9gb which i can see using spotlight search. i really hope the other amount is my missing videos! these are videos of my kids as babies.

Read this post and do the migration again, putting the library in a portable shape first if necessary.

  • I backed up my iphone and cannot find my "notes" on my mac

I backed up my iphone 4 in itunes.  I selected (without meaning to) the option to delete the notes once they were backed up.  Now I need these notes and cannot find them on my macbookpro.  They are not in the mail/notes option.  I was told they are hidden in a back up file.  Can someone please advise how to access these notes?

Did anyone ever answer your question?

  • I cannot find my photos in icloud after updating my iphone.

I cannot find my photos after updating my iphone.

If you have backups on both icloud and on your computer, then do a restore from either source.  If the phone is new, connect it to iTunes, it should offer you the choice to restore from computer or from icloud.
    Note:
You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer

  • HT5824 i cannot find my pictures on icloud? help

I synced my photos with icloud and now i cannot find them
    how do i find them

If you backed up your phone to iCloud over wifi, the backup would contain your camera roll photos.  However, you would have to restore the entire backup to your device to recover the photos.
As mentioned, photo stream photos can be viewed from a computer or iOS device that is signed into your account with photo stream enabled.  Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days.

  • I cannot find my iMac in iCloud

    Hi
When I have checked "Find My Mac" in iCloud System Preferences, my Mac doesn't show up in Find My iPhone.
On my iPad it shows: "Offline"
My iMac is connected to internet: mail, Safari, FaceTime, and everything is working perfectly.
I can't find more settings to fiddle with.
    Help!

Ok thanks for the help, but i'll wait till OSX Mavericks is released and see if it sorts itself out, if not i'll take it to Apple..

  • I cannot find my most recent iCloud backup for my iPhone 4S

Backed up to iCloud in the Apple Shop today (11/10/12) before my Genius appointment, warranty still in place, got a new 4S. Can't now only find a backup from the 19th Sept and 10th Sept, any advice please?

Also, could it be because my old 4S was on iOS6 and this hasn't been updated yet?
That's the problem. Upddate your new phone, & the backup should be then available.

  • How do i back up iTunes to iCloud. Cannot find any ref to iCloud in itunes9-08

i have been using idisk for two years. i back up all my files on it. today there is no idisk icon on my home screen. it does not appear in finder. it does not apppear in spotlight. when i search for files that i know are on idisk, nothing appears. this is very serious as I publish a weekly newsletter and all that i need is on idisk. where has it gone?

Joining iCloud has signed you out of MobileMe. Go to System Preferences>MobileMe and sign in again: then you can access your iDisk at Finder menu Go>iDisk>My iDisk.
