In Windows 7 when I Choose Start>Control Program>Programs and Features - My CS4 Web Premium programs are not listed but my later additon CS4 Premiere Pro is listed. Adobe Tech suggested that I remove all Adobe programs and reload the CS4 suite along with PrPro to solve a problem with updates...
How do I find/remove the CS4 Web Premium Suite?

Did you do a clean install of Windows 7 or did you upgrade from Vista? You can remove all vestiges of CS4 by using the CS4 Cleanup script:

If you registered PSE before, go to the main page of adobe.com, sign in and go to your account and you should find the serial number there in your purchases.

Cannot find the Web Content repository in test system under KM Content

Hi Experts,
We have implemented Web Page Composer in our development landscape. I have created a web page with the required content in the development and now wish to transport this web page and its content to our test system.
However when I navigate to Content Administration -> KM Content, inside the root directory I am not able to find the Web Content repository within which all WPC content resides.
I want to know what configuration has to be done in the test system so that the Web Content repository becomes available within KM Content.

CS6 upgrade cannot find my existing qualifying product

I bought a CS6 upgrade but on installation, it says it cannot find a qualifying product on my computer. (not cloud, by the way). My Photoshop CS5 extended was part of a Creative Suite.

the only upgrade paths are ps cs5, ps cs5.5 and acrobat x suite (which contains Acrobat X Pro, Photoshop CS5, Captivate 5, Presenter 7, LiveCycle Designer ES2, and Media Encoder CS5).

Safari 5 Cannot Find Any Web Pages

We have two iMacs. My wife's is model 8,1 and is running OSX 10.5.8. My iMac is model 9,1 and is running 10.6.3. Both are Core 2 Duo. We have both downloaded Safari 5. Mine is running okay, but I cannot decide if it is slower or faster.
My wife's iMac can _no longer find any web pages_.
We are connected by standard ethernet twisted pair cables to a router, which is then connected by cable to our broadband modem.
Both of our emails work fine. Also, Firefox runs fine on both of our iMacs. For the time being, until Apple has a fix for this, or someone in the forum has a suggestion, I guess we are stuck with Firefox on my wife's iMac.
Any suggestions. Very frustrating. My wife's iMac was running fine until she downloaded Safari 5.

On the iMac running v10.5.8...
Have her login to another user account and see if she can access web pages there. If she can, the problem is just in her Home Folder, not system wide.
Go here for trouble shooting 3rd party plugins or input managers which might be causing the problem. Safari: Add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues
Make sure Safari is not running in Rosetta. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. In the Get Info window click the black disclosure triangle so it faces down. Where you see Open using Rosetta... make sure that is NOT selected.
Go to the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Make note of all the preferences under each tab. Quit Safari. Now go to ~/Library/Preferences and move this file com.apple.safari.plist to the Desktop.
Relaunch Safari and see if that makes a difference. If not, move the .plist file back to the Preferences folder. If Safari functions as it should, move that .plist file to the Trash.
And try cycling off the router for several minutes then turn it back on then see if she can access the net.
Try repairing disk permissions.
Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.
If nothing above helps, install the v10.5.8 Combo Update It's ok to do this even though her Mac is already running v10.5.8.

After decommisioning our server Reader update cannot find path so I can neither uninstall nor install

We have recently decommissioned our server and are using dropbox. Updating Reader failed because it cannot find the path to the server, as it isn't there anymore but I cannot find a way to uninstall or update.

But you may still encounter problems when trying to reinstall; make sure that no entries point to your server on these registry keys:

Cannot install CS4 Web Premium

I am having problem in installation CS4 Web Premium in my Windows Vista x64 Ultimate. I will get Internet Explorer SCript Error:

I can't do anything once this happened. Tried to Yes or No will not help. After clicking many times, a dialog box will come up for follow up action (like to quit?) but there is no OK or Cancal or whatever button. I have to use Task Manager to kill the installation program.
I have tried to search for installation script error but none seems to be the same as mine. I appreciate your help.

Cannot find CS3 Web Premium disks - do I have to go illegal ?

I walked into B&H NY, bought an upgrade to CS3 Web Premium (from CS2 suite), and took it back home. Before insatlling it I emailed myself the license keys.
Now, several new computers and several old computer deactivations and crashes later, I needed to reinstall, could not find the original disks so downloaded PS from the Adobe site.
Photoshop CS3 won't recognize my CS3 Web Premium serial !
Adobe support says I need to reinstall the whole suite. There is no download for Web Premium.
I'm seriously angry. I am thinking of dumping the whole activation crap and downloading a pirate version, or even regressing to a pirate version of CS1.
I don't feel comfortable stealing, but although Adobe has confirmed that my serial number is valid they cannot offer me a way to get what I paid for working again.

(1) I assume that what you are telling us is that you lost the original disk for your upgrade copy of CS3 Web Premium but you do have the serial number (
not keys).
(2) You also didn't bother to register the CS3 product.
(3) Please call
Adobe Customer Support (not
Adobe Technical Support!) and advise them of the situation of your lost disks. You may be asked to provide some proof of purchase, such as a receipt from B&H showing the item in question. (Note that B&H is closed this week for Passover, but should be open again on Monday!) As Bob Levine indicated, Customer Support should be able to supply you with replacement media for a shipping and handling fee. If you have any problems with the representative you are speaking with, please ask to speak with a Customer Support supervisor and make sure they give you a "case number." If you still have problems, please contact me off-forum directly and I'll see what I can do to assist from Adobe San Jose.
(4) For better or worse, the individual Adobe products have different installers and serial numbers than the suites. That's why you cannot install a downloaded trial copy of Photoshop 10 using a CS3 serial number.
(5) It will certainly not help your case if you start threatening to use pirated software when discussing your problem with Adobe Customer Support. The fact is that YOU lost your disks; Adobe did not cause that problem. But Adobe can make replacement disks available to you if you cooperate. In the future, please register your product ASAP upon initial product installation. You don't have to mail anything in; the product can self register via the internet - all you need to do is provide minimal contact information. One of the main reasons for the registration process is to assist customers when disks are lost, upgrades are required, etc.

Help Adobe CS4 Web Pre on iMac

I just downloaded and "installed" it from the web. This time, the only thing that actually installed successfully was Acrobat... but it wouldn't open until I had opened one of the other Adobe applications first. I reinstalled the entire package to no avail.
Could this have anything to do with the fact that I originally purchased this as a student through the Adobe Education program? Nowhere have I been asked whether I am still a student. Would the license simply have expired? This is so bizarre. You would think I'd at least get a message telling me this is what's going on, but the programs won't even install (from download) or open (after installation from disc).
And yeah, the 1984 "last modified" date is super bizarre! This is the craziest software issue I've ever dealt with.

I cannot access firefox because it says it is already running. It is asking me to close the program that is running I cannot find where it is. I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version. It did not correct the problem

when I click the firefox link a window pops up saying a the program is already running and I must close that program in order to run a current one. I went through task manager and then completly uninstalled firefox and reinstalled the newest version. This did not help.

Cannot find Skype in my programs to uninstall, so ...

My upgrade always fails with an error code and says first remove the old version of Skype. I go to Add/Remove Programs on my pc and Skype is not listed. I really want to add the new version, but can't do that unless I can work out how to remove the old one. Thanks!

Cannot find system in table file

I got the 8900 series and I upgraded the desktop software to v4.7
I am trying to synchronize with outlook, but when I am configuring it when I click finish it appear this run time error 'cannot find system in table file'
I uninstalled and installed again the desktop software and there was no change.
I tried removing something of connectors and it didn't help.
Can someone please help me with this.

Firefox cannot find webpage. Error msg involve 'bramnjet' site.

When I try to download firefox as my new web browser, a page appears with the error msg that it cannot find the web page. The address in the navigation bar contains 'bramnjet'. This happens with both custom and normal installations

My suggestion would be to dump the "Google Toolbar" extension, and install
"Adblock Plus" extension and then to make it work the subscribe to the EasyList US filter subscription.
