Cannot find "Employee search" option portal - EHP7

Customer says, on previous version of portal, they had “Employee search” option in which anyone can search for basic data of any colleagues. Right now in EHP7, there is no such options. Did we miss activation at any place or missing any notes?

its very simple..
For Who's who :- open launchpad and create new folder and add New application in that give name as Who's who and select Application type as Portal page from drop down and in application parameter add below path :-

Hi i have just downloaded maverick and cannot find a search icon that'l stay on my toolbar

just up graded to mavericks and i cannot find a search icon that'll stay on my tool bar..? i can find the one in edit/find but it closes after use. also safari help does now not work... would much appreciate some help

In Snow Leopard the Spotlight access is exactly the same. The only search field is in the Safari toolbar, and this has been amalgamated with the address field - as I said above, just type the search terms in the address field:

You are following the instructions on that page exactly for creating a new account (it won't work with an existing account) e.g. selecting a free app in the store and clicking on 'create Apple id' when 'buying' it ?

In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

Search using finder sidebar search options - but restrict it to one profile

I'm relatively new to my mac & OSX. How do I use the Finder sidebar search options - but restrict it to searching on just that one profile. currently it scans both the Administrator profiles. Thanks

In the old days when we wanted to search for something on the Mac (or Windows) we'd invoke the Find function, type information into the text box(es) and click on the Start button. That was fine but we often searched for the same thing over and over. That's why Apple created the *Smart Folder* which is really nothing more than a pre-made search. It isn't really a folder in the traditional sense; it doesn't hold items, it holds the search criteria and then shows the items that match it. Since it is a folder, these pre-made searches can be put in the sidebar the same as any other folder.
The sidebar search option, as you refer to it, is a collection of searches that Apple created for us. If they don't do what you want, you can create your own by selecting *New Smart Folder* from the File menu and save it to the sidebar. I've deleted all the ones Apple provided and replaced them with my own.

The problem is with facebook, go to settings / facebook / your user name and delete your account, the do a hard reset (home+power for some seconds).

Cannot find the sync option on my iMac to sync my new iPhone 6 .

I have a new 64 iPhone 6+. I have tried to sync it with my iMAC like I did with my iPhone 5 but I cannot find the screen with the sync option. When I go the the menu bar and select File/Devices/Sync, the Sync is grayed out. How do I get this to work?

Find/Change search options vanish

I'm using ID CC 2014 in Windows 7. I have had this same problem since CS4 and it is driving me crazy. At various times, I'll open the Find/Change dialog, and will see that not all of the search choices are there. All Documents and Documents are always there, but the other options of story or selection are not (and yes, I'm either in story or have selected text).
The only way to fix it is to exit and restart ID.
Any thoughts on a permanent fix?

Certainly a good thought; I've got lots of stuff running, though nothing particularly unusual. It would be probably harder to track that down than to just make do with the current situation.

Cannot find S/PDIF option

Qosmio G30. Windows XP SP 3. I received this G30 as a gift and I've red there's an optical S/PDIF output in the headphones output. There it is, I can see the LED. When I enter the control Panel/Sound Options I can't find anything about the S/PDIF output activation anywhere. Am I lacking some configuration or software? BTW, It's in Spanish

When you plug the S/PDIF cable in does a pop up window for Realtek show up?

If this does show up, ensure you tick the S/PDIF option.
If it does not show you may need to find the Realtek application and launch it manually (should automatically show up in the system tray as the fugly brown speaker icon, if not, search control panel for Realtek).
If the pop-up still doesn't show up, go into "Device advanced settings" and tick "tie up same type of jack inputs". Now see if the box shows up, if it has ensure that the "Enable auto pop-out dialog" option is ticked and tick the S/PDIF. From now on when you plug a device into the jack it will ask for the type of device
Hope it helps, I am using Vista with the same type of S/PDIF set-up but it should be almost the same.
