Cannot find Fiori Backend Role

Dear expert,
I'm implementing Fiori wave 2 Leave Request Approval and Purchase Order Approval for customer.
The customer is using ERP EHP6, thus we installed GBAPP002 and GBHCM003 on the backend.
Both the components are at the latest patch.
However cannot find the pre-defined backend role in PFCG:
SAP_GBHCM_LEAVE_APPROVAL_MGR  and
SAP_MM_PO_APV_APP
Is there any important step that I miss?  Masayuki Sekihara
Thank you very much!

  • Cannot find "Create A Role " in BI Publisher

    Hi All,
I am trying to configure EBS security and assign catalog permissions to the EBS Roles.Following the Oracle Document Integrating with Other Oracle Security Models - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)
and it says under Security Center-->Role & Permissions click "Create A Role" but I can't find Create A Role button or option. I am using OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0
Any help or thoughts if i am missing anything.
    Thanks
    SYK

As Per the Oracle Support Documentation
    1. Login in to xmlpserver as weblogic user
    2. Navigate to Administration > Security Center > Security Configuration
    3. On the bottom of the page navigate to the Security Model section
    4. On the drop down list select "BI Publisher Security" and provide a password for the security
    5. Log out of xmlpserver and login as weblogic user on Weblogic Console and restart the BI Server
    6. Once restarted then login back to xmlpserver with the username as administrator and provide the password you had provided on step 4.
    7. Now navigate to Administration > Security Center, and a new link called "users" is available and on the Roles and Permissions link, "Create Role" button can be found.
N.B this solution is applicable to only Standalone BI Publisher
It is not recommended to  change the Security Model to 'BI Publisher Security'  when  using BI Publisher within OBIEE installation.
For OBIEE installation the Security Model should be 'Fusion Middleware' security or 'BI Server Security'.
It Worked for me ..Just posting it if anyone run into same issue:)

  • Cannot find CAF Developer Role

    Hi ,
When i try to access the Test Tools - Service Browser in   CAF Runtime Config . -
    I get the error --
Access forbidden. You should have the CAFDeveloper role. Please log on again.
We did not have this problem when we were on
SP 9 . Now we are on SP 12.
I have added all the roles that are present for CAF including all the Admin roles.
Yet i do not finrd any role - CAF Developer.
I searched the forum - there was a solution saying to make a dummy role -i tried that but it did not work. There was a mention of SAP Note but the number was not given.
Does anyone have the idea as to how to resolve this problem and which SAP note referes to this problem.
    Thanks

  • Cannot find role xi_jpr_register_bindings

I get into the Identity management of NWA, I cannot find  any xi_* or XI_*  roles.
Please help understand why?   Version is PI7.00 SPS 09.   Points guaranteed. Thanks!

    Hi Jennefer,
If you are looking for XI_* roles, if exsists as roles in your backend system then you have to find this in groups in the nwa
identity management.Because the roles in backend system are represented as groups in java stack.
    Reward points if helpfull.

  • Cannot find role SAP_SDCCN_ALL in satellite system

    Hi,
I cannot find the role SAP_SDCCN_ALL in satellite system. The sattelite system is R3 4.7 PI 2003_1_470, PI_Basis 2003_1_620. Did anyone of you encounter the same problem?.
    Regards
    Anil

    Hi Anil,
the role SAP_SDCCN_ALL is shipped with ST-PI 2005_1_*.
In this ST-PI release the new transaction SDCCN is shipped first time. This transaction replaces the old SDCC. So it is quite clear that in the ST-PI 2003__ the role is not available.
So please upgrade your ST-PI and you will get the new SDCCN.
This SDCCN has the following new features and functions. You can send data to more then one Solution Manager.
If you have installed the new ST-PI and you are generating then RFCs (the SM_*_BACK), the tool automatically assigns this destination to the SDCCN, so then automatically the SDCCN would ask the new SolMan for new sessions.
Also one big advantage of the new SDCCN is, if one download is required by more then one service, this download will not be collected multiple times (reduces system load), it is collected only ones. By default a new download will be collected after 3 or 6 days, this is customizing of the SDCCN.
So I recommend to upgrade your ST-PI
    Regards,

  • Cannot find the field for the Contact Role in Contact object.

    Hi, friends,
I need to set Contact Role when creating new Account and Contact. I tried the following tests but cannot figure it out:
    1. Create new Account and then new Contact, set the AccountContactRole in Account WSDL as “Main” but failed to set that field in form
    2. Create new Account and then new Contact, set the ContactRole in Contact WSDL as "Main” but failed to set that field in form
    3. Create new Contact and then new Account, set those two fields, but failed to set that field in form
So far I know, the Account Contact Role is kind of picklist type in Account Contact Field. I could find its customization in Admin-> Application Customization -> Account -> Account Contact Fields -> Contact Roles. However, I cannot find the exact item in WSDL file to map this item. The AccountContactRole in Account WSDL and ContactRole in Contact WSDL are suspicious.
It will be appreciated if anyone could help me on this issue.
    Thank you very much

Hi, Sean, I tried the Web Service 1.0 call to create a new Contact and then a new Account with created Contact ID. But the CRMOD return the "Access Deny" fault. Is there somewhere I could see or change this kind of access rights? Or some bug in my web service call?
I am sorry I did not open a new topic thread as I think they are related and easy for reference. Thank you very much.

  • Cannot install WINS Server Role on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard x64

    Hi,
We are trying to install WINS Server Feature on a brand new Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard x64 (Virtual Machine). It seems that WINS is getting installed and right at the very end it gives an error 0x80070002.
We have tried rebooting the server multiple times , DNS/DHCP roles have been installed successfully as
well . It is just the WINS server feature that we are unable to install on this server.
Can someone point us to right direction. Are there any pre requisites we need to ensure before installing this feature. Are there any alternate ways to install
the WINS feature .. if yes please let us know.

The error indicates a File was not found:

    2) Is the OS fully patched and has it been rebooted since it was patched?

  • "system cannot find the path specified" error when deploying EAR

I am trying to deploy a J2EE based web service created in Sun Studio 5 to the SunOne AS 7.0.
I get an error saying "The system cannot find the path specified". I have followed the deployment instructions as closely as possible I think.
When I look in the file system for the file the system is trying to find, the whole directory it seems to be looking for (C:\Sun\studio5_se\appserver7\domains\domain1\server1\applications\j2ee-apps\PostCodeLookupApp_1)
is missing. (In fact there is nothing in the j2ee apps directory).
Got any ideas? Have I missed something?
    Thanks for any help,

  • Bulk Insert Task Cannot bulk load because the file could not be opened.operating system error error code 3(The system cannot find the path specified.)

Following error i am getting after i chnaged the Path in Config File from
    \\vs01\d$\\Deployment\Files\temp.txt
    to
    C:\Deployment\Files\temp.txt
[Bulk Insert Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Cannot bulk load because the file "C:\Deployment\Files\temp.txt" could not be opened. Operating system error code 3(The system cannot find the path specified.).".

I think i know whats going on. The Bulk Insert task runs by executing sql command (bulk insert) internally from the target sql server to load the file. This means that the SQL Server Agent of the target sql server should have permissions on the file you trying to load. This also means that you need to use UNC path instead to specify the file path (if the target server in on different machine)
Also from BOL (see section Usage Considerations - last bullet point)
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms141239.aspx
    * Only members of the sysadmin fixed server role can run a package that contains a Bulk Insert task.
Make sure you take care of this as well.

  • Concurrent Manager cannot find information for your conc req in FND_USER

    Dear All,
Our customer is facing this issue while submitting conc requests. The requests end up in a Error with the following message in the Diagnostics.
Concurrent Manager cannot find information for your concurrent request from FND_USER
Cause: Concurrent Manager found no rows while selecting information for your concurrent request from FND_USER .
Sometimes it does not happen. It happens only for HRMS users. We are not sure what is causing this issue.
Anyone has faced this already? Highly appreciate your suggestions / pointers towards solving this issue.
    Thanks in advance!
    Hem

    Hem,
Not sure if this is relevant here, but you may try to submit the following concurrent programs and see if it helps.
    - "Sync responsibility role data into the WF table."
    - "Synchronize WF LOCAL tables"
    - "Workflow Directory Services User/Role Validation"
If the above does not help, enable trace/debug on any of those concurrent programs, and submit it again, check the concurrent request log file contents then (you do not have to generate TKPROF file, so skip this step).

  • Defining the navigation frame: Cannot find the menu path in Customizing

    DEFINING THE NAVIGATION FRAME
I do not find the path in this CRM 7.0 to change the navigation frame.     The navigation frame for the header area is customized in the following path (in CRM 2007, I think)
SPRO -> IMG -> Customer Relationship Management -> Business Roles -> Define Navigation Frame
Here you select the navigation frame specified for your business role, the component ID for the logo area, and so on. when you have the navigation frame ready, you assign it to the business role, but I cannot find this path in CRM 7.0, so help would be needed. Regards, Martin.

    Hello Martin,
    The correct path is
    SPRO->IMG->Customer Relationship Management->UI Framework->Define Navigation Bar Profile
Here you select your customized profile defined your Business role and configure it as per your requirement.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have more questions.

  • Cannot find DC containing IConnectorGatewayService

We are on Netweaver 2004s SP13
I am working with NWDI building DCs and one of the main issues I keep coming across is trying to find the Used DC that contains the libraries I previously use in pre-nwdi code (i.e. I just added the jars to my project and often these were jars from EP5 or EP6).
I need to use two classes to connect to a backend Oracle system (JCA approach)
    IConnection
    IConnectorGatewayService
Using a Class locator utility I was able to find the DC that contained "IConnection" (tc/conn/connectorframework in the SAP-JTECHS SC).
For the life of me, I cannot find "IConnectorGatewayService" in any Used DC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
Take a look at my blog: <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/4182">The Story About How 2 Eclipse Plugins helped me to make a lot of points on SDN forum</a>
Try to use "JAR Class Finder" eclipse plugin.
Specify directory where your DC`s are.
    For example:
C:\Documents and Settings\<USER_NAME>\.dtc\0\DCs\sap.com\ in case of using NWDI (Dont forget to sync before!)
    or
C:\Program Files\SAP\IDE\IDE70\eclipse\plugins\com.sap.tc.ap_2.0.0\comp in case of locale development.
Search for "com.sapportals.portal.navigation.NavigationNodes" in local DC`s and DC`s from NWDI doesn`t return anything.
    I would recommned following approach:
    1) creat library DC
    2) copy jar to comp\libraries folder from (C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servletjsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps\com.sap.portal.navigation.api_service\lib\com.sap.portal.navigation.api_service_api.jar)
    3) create public part
    4) add jar to public part
Now you can use functionality from jar.
    Best regards, Maksim Rashchynski.

  • Error when trying to install the iSCSI target - Cannot find the Windows PowerShell data file 'ImportExportIscsiTargetConfiguration.psd1'

    Hi,
I'm just attempting to setup an iSCSI target on a freshly installed Windows 2012r2 box, but I get the following error when attempting to Create and iSCSI virtual disk via the wizard after a successful
installation of the iSCSI target role.
    The full error is:
Cannot find the Windows PowerShell data file 'ImportExportIscsiTargetConfiguration.psd1' in directory 'C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\IscsiTarget\en-GB\', or in any parent culture.
I tried to uninstall, then reinstall the role but no go.
The Server Locale and UI was all updated to en-GB but this folder does not appear to exist in this location. Rather, the folder I can see is:
    'C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\IscsiTarget\en-US\'
I'm going to attempt to copy the 'en-US' folder to 'en-GB' to see what happens, but I would like to know why this has occurred in the first place? Other roles have installed (such as AD DS AD CS and

    Hi Chris,
The error "Cannot find the Windows PowerShell data file 'ImportExportIscsiTargetConfiguration.psd1'" occured, because the file 'ImportExportIscsiTargetConfiguration.psd1' can't be loaded under the folder en-GB with current culture.
I recommend you can copy this .psd1 file under  'C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\IscsiTarget'. Essentially if PowerShell can’t find the specified data file for the current culture it will “fallback” to the top-level data
    file in this case.
For more detailed information, please refer to this article:

If there is anything else regarding this issue, please feel free to post back.

  • SSRS Sharepoint Integrated Mode logs - Cannot find site lookup info for request Uri AND [Forced due to logging gap]

    Hi,
Our reports run very slow in SharePoint Integrated mode. I look at the logs and I see that for one report request there are bunch of "Forced due to logging gap" rows. Is it some kind of a configuration issue or is it working as it should. Below
is the full log for one report request. I have no admin experience at all and I am confused what each one in the logs mean. I have made some of them in bold font as I suspect it is some kind of configuration issue there. Could you please help understanding
    those logs?

    Thank you.

That is likely the case as native mode is quicker than SharePoint-integrated.
A couple of things to check, and perhaps change if you can:
    1) Make sure the latest SSRS ReportViewer is deployed to the SharePoint WFEs. This does not have to match your SSRS deployment version. See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg492257.aspx
    for the compatibility table.
    2) If possible, move SSRS to the same SharePoint servers that end users interact with (e.g. the "WFEs").
    3) Make sure the underlying server hosting SharePoint has C-States disabled (these are Intel C-States, e.g. C1, C2, C3... aka processor sleep states). If the server has any sort of power regulation, make sure it is at maximum performance (rather than some
    form of power saving).
    4) Make sure the underlying Windows OS has it's Power Management set to Maximum, rather than any sort of power savings.
You can review the execution logs in the Reporting Services database. Take a look at the ExecutionLog3 view. Compare the TimeProcessing (time it takes to process the report) and TimeRendering (time it takes for the processed report to render to the end user).
