Cannot find FireFox 4 Windows en-US installer

Why is Firefox 4 installer not available?
I need to install it for doing QA work on a website.
Thanks

Use Firefox 19, that is the current Release version used by most people. Once installed it will by default to update correctly with future releases.

* http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
* [[Install Firefox on Windows]] (articles also exist for Mac & Linux)
The Beta, Aurora & Nightly channels are for more experienced users willing to assist with versions in earlier stages of development, with the Beta being the one about to be released next and as near as possible in a final state for imminent Release, (within 6 weeks).
In fact personally I wish more users would run and test Firefox Beta. The current Fx19 Release crashes some Windows AMD machines, and with more testers this should have been really easy to spot and fix before release.

  • Error when trying to install the iSCSI target - Cannot find the Windows PowerShell data file 'ImportExportIscsiTargetConfiguration.psd1'

    Hi,
I'm just attempting to setup an iSCSI target on a freshly installed Windows 2012r2 box, but I get the following error when attempting to Create and iSCSI virtual disk via the wizard after a successful
installation of the iSCSI target role.
    The full error is:
Cannot find the Windows PowerShell data file 'ImportExportIscsiTargetConfiguration.psd1' in directory 'C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\IscsiTarget\en-GB\', or in any parent culture.
I tried to uninstall, then reinstall the role but no go.
The Server Locale and UI was all updated to en-GB but this folder does not appear to exist in this location. Rather, the folder I can see is:
    'C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\IscsiTarget\en-US\'
I'm going to attempt to copy the 'en-US' folder to 'en-GB' to see what happens, but I would like to know why this has occurred in the first place? Other roles have installed (such as AD DS AD CS and
IIS) on other machines with no issue.
    Many thanks
    Chris
    Chris

    Hi Chris,
The error "Cannot find the Windows PowerShell data file 'ImportExportIscsiTargetConfiguration.psd1'" occured, because the file 'ImportExportIscsiTargetConfiguration.psd1' can't be loaded under the folder en-GB with current culture.
I recommend you can copy this .psd1 file under  'C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\IscsiTarget'. Essentially if PowerShell can’t find the specified data file for the current culture it will “fallback” to the top-level data
    file in this case.

If your Firefox is located in the standard installation location - that is, given that you didn't change location during install - you should be able to find it in the '''C:\Program Files\Mozilla\Firefox\''' folder.
Or you can try searching your hard drive(s) for it, by using menu Start -> Search > for Files or Folders... -> in left-hand Search Assistant box, click "-> All files and folders" -> enter "firefox*.*" and click button "Search".

  • ITunes cannot find the folder containing the installation package itunes64.msi.

When I try and update iTunes to the newest version it says that it cannot find the itunes64.msi.  How to i fix this? I have a Dell Inspiron if that makes a difference.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)

  • I cannot find my serial numbers for installation anywhere on my CS5 box set?

I received my CS5 box set about 3 years ago and installed it all fine to my MacBook Pro then. I recently wiped and reformatted my Mac as it was becoming slow. All the software was backed up on my hard drive, however after reading forums it sounds like Adobe aren't all inclusive style apps, so need reinstalling with a disk. I have my full box set but when it came to install I cannot find my serial numbers ANYWHERE. When I went onto customer care it shows that they should be on the back of the DVD sleeves. I really need to install these programs back and I'm getting quite frustrated, help?!

    To locate the serial number:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html
You might be able to find your serial number thru your Adobe account online if you registered the products when you originally installed them.
Beyond all that your last hope will be in contacting Adobe support thru chat to see if they can assist:

  • Cannot find shared windows printer with NEW macbook running leopard HELP!

I just bought a new Macbook this past week. Woo Hoo. I love everything about it with the exception of file sharing and printer sharing. I have a less than one year old pc running vista that is connected to a hp 1300 series all in one printer. I can not even find this printer anywhere on the mac. i have been able to connect to my pc server via the ip address and share files this way. I am at a loss and really have no knowledge of mac. it is really disheartening, as I had way less trouble setting up windows networks for my roommates in college.
Also, as a side helper, how can I setup a shared folder that can be accessed from both the mac and the pc. I would like something that I can set on the desktop of both in order to share files better and more efficiently than connecting to a server everytime I want to do this. Please help, and explain as if I am as stupid as I appear.
    Thanks.

Here are two articles that may help:
Mac OS X- Cannot locate a shared Windows printer.
Mac OS X 10.5- Compatibility with Windows-shared printers.

  • I just installed 7.0.1, but when i go to open a web site, it cannot find firefox to open the web address.

I have been trouble having trouble with my browser and actually had to get to the Firefox web site by going through Safari since my shortcut was not getting me there. i saw that there was an upgrade to 7.0.1 so i downloaded it, installed it, and now i can't get in to any web sites through firefox at all. by browser says it can't find it. when it was installed, it was save to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

The problem is with desktop shortcuts or links in external programs?
First, turn off Firefox's setting to check whether it is the default. This is in the Advanced Options as described in this article: [[Advanced settings for accessibility, browsing, system defaults, network, updates, and encryption]].
Next, go to your preferred browser, and use its internal feature to have it make itself your default browser. For Internet Explorer, see: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/make-ie-default-browser (there is a version selector on the right side of the page if it opens for an inapplicable version)
    Does that fix it?

  • Cannot find Firefox runtime directory. Exiting. - eh?

So what the heck does this mean?
Earlier I'd deleted my unneeded firefox versions (firefox-3.5 and firefox-nightly), and now my pgo-beta doesn't run. If I install nightly, IT runs, but pgo-beta doesn't.
I'm currently re-compiling pgo-beta because that's soooo much fun, and hoping it puts back whatever went away, but I have no clue WTH happened. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, despite reaching the end of the registry twice, it appears that my problem is still not solved. I've checked the cmd prompt and it still has the same error, and Java.com continues to tell me to install Java when I go to "Do I have Java?".
Since uninstalling has no effect, perhaps we could focus on the installation aspect? Since there's no chance that files in odd places or dodgy keys in the registry I'd check where Java.dll is supposed to be, but I don't have a working system readily available to see where that should be. Can anyone else search their computer and registry for a more specific location as to where it should be installed please? If it's not there, we could try and inject one, and if it still fails or I can't move anything there, then permissions may need to be altered.
Just throwing out ideas here, since you guys are the experts. I hope anyway.
EDIT: Ran a whole search on the computer checking that it searched every field for the criteria "java.dll". Results are as follows (note: "---" means same folder):
    MikeyTWolf found:
-- Computer -- (all found in Program Files)
    java\jre6\bin "java.dll"
    Azureus\jre\bin "java.dll"
    Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS3\Server\jre "JavaWebStart.dll"
    --- "java.dll"
    adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CS3\JVM\bin "java.dll"
    adobe\Adobe Flash CS3\JVM\bin "java.dll"
--- "JavaWebStart.dll" I didn't bother with a registry search, since I would only find what I had previously attempted to delete, which has presumably returned from today's install.

  • Cannot find "ant" in the oracle10g installation

I have installed oracle10g application server. i was asked to
please make sure that the ant command associated with the OC4J ant distribution is in your execution path (%OC4J_HOME%/ant/bin).
    the problem is
    1. which directory in oracle10g does the oc4j_home point to
    2. i searched for 'ant' in the entire oracle10g directory and could not find it at all. Is my installation incorrect?
please tell me where i can find the ant in the oracle10g dorectory
    Thanks,
    Sharath

    Hello
As far as I know, ANT is not a component of OAS. So you never will be able to find it in a fresh oracle install.
What you can do is go to Ant/Jakarta home page [1], download the software and install it in the OH

  • Cannot find Runtime Assitant after complete installations

    Hi Gurus,
I have tried deploying OWB 10g along with Oracle 10g (10.2) as well as with Oracle 9i (9.2.0). Both the times the installation was successful but I could't find the Runtime Assitant anywher after complete installations.
I found Repository Assistant with the help of which we created the Design repository but was unable to find the Runtime Assistant in the installed components.
    Please help..
    Regards,
    AB

As detlef pointed out, in the OWB 10gR2 version, there is no more notion of separate repositories. Check out this thread:
Design Repository / Runtime Repository OWB 10gR2
But for every database hosting a target schema you need to install and have running the OWB runtime service. This service is then accessed using the Control Center, previously known as the Runtime Repository Assistant.
