Cannot find Gymnastics menu templates in Premiere Elements 7

I am looking for a Gymnastics menu for Premiere Elements 7.
CraginJohn

Welcome to the forum.
If there is nothing in the included Templates, then I can only recommend that you look on Muvipix.com, as they have many additional, custom Menu Sets, though I do not recall a gymnastics set - but have never needed one. If you find what you do need there, there are two ways to get it - pay for the Menu Sets that you need, or subscribe to Muvipix.com, and then download everything, including the music, Menu Sets, etc., from that subscription.
Good luck, and hope that you find what you are looking for.

PS - I would also post to the Premiere Elements Forum (Community) at Muvipix.com, as many subscribers there know of additional sources, and also do a lot of school sports themed DVD/BD projects, and might have other resources for you.

  • Moving menu template from premiere elements 4 to premiere elements 9

Last year I upgraded from premiere elements 4 to 9.  I could not find a generic menu template in premiere elements 9 so I moved one from the program files of premiere elements 4 to the program files of premiere elements 9.  This seemed to work okay except that the background art that I used for the main menu does not show up on the burned DVD even though it is there when viewing the project.  I'm using a PC with Windows 7.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Several of the menu templates for PRE9 had problems, such as custom backgrounds ignored. A. T. Romano did a lot of work on investigating these issues.
    For example:
Premiere Elements 9 Disc Menu (main/scene)
    PE9 Menu background
It seems likely that whatever caused the faults in PRE9 is also tripping up with your PRE4 template. Others have reported that the problems were fixed in PRE10.

How do i drag media to the menu screens in premiere elements 13? I can't see my audio files and the menu screens at the same time. In prior versions it was easy?
It is very cumbersome to "re browse" for audio files/pics/movie clips to add to menu screens. Certainly there is a way to view the media and menu screen at the same time so I can drag and drop?

I think I know exactly what you are seeking and believe it cannot be done in Premiere Elements 11, 12, and 13 as it can be done in versions earlier than 11 where the Disc Layout and Project Media are viewed side by side.
Premiere Elements 13 uses a Movie Menu customization workspace which is not allowing viewing of Project Assets in the Expert workspace at the same time.

I can't find the reinstall for Adobe Premiere Elements 11 after it told me to uninstall the program and then reinstall.

    Hi seriously99,
Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Elements are seperate software. We have to purchase both the software seperately.

I am trying to authorize my new computer for Itunes.  I cannot find any menu option for this in the computer store

    Authorization and Deauthorization
Macs:  iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
      1. Open iTunes on a computer
      2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
      3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
      4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
      5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

Thanks for the reply. Glad you asked. Please check out my blog post on the use of the Difference Matte, especially for the Premiere Elements Mac users who run into this Windows Only situation.

We are not Adobe. Rather user to user. So, I am not sure why these keying features are not included in Premiere Elements Mac.
Please review and consider the above, and, if any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
    Best wishes.

  • Creating a custom DVD template for Premiere Elements 7

I have Premiere Elements 7, as well as Photoshop CS3. What I want is a very simple DVD title page that shows all 18 scenes in our movie - text listings would be enough - the point of the exercise is to make it easy for someone to click on a specific scene (I could use movie markers instead of scene markers, I guess, if that makes life easier) while giving a talk.
I cannot find instructions for doing that in either PE7 or Photoshop. Clearly am not looking in the right places. Can someone point me to useful instruction?
    Many thanks,
    ari

    Ari,
    Welcome to the forum.
One thing that tends to get in the way, when creating Menus for PrE is that PrE's authoring module (creates navigation, Burns DVD, etc.) is that it does things semi-automatically. To accomplish this, one needs to think of Menu Sets (a Main Menu and a Scene Selection Menu, that will be replicated enough times to fit the Project). If you look in the folder structure of the Library, you will see that there are two Menus, and their accompanying PNG's (thumbnail display for Create Menu organizer) for each title. That is done to accommodate the semi-automatic aspect.
Now, using a well-defined set of properties, one CAN create Menu Sets for PrE. There are also several additional Menu Sets available from Muvipix, including one with a Text-only Scene Selection Menu. These can be purchased, or can be downloaded free, if one is a subscriber.
One consideration, in your stated case, is that if you have a Widescreen Project, you can ONLY have 18 Buttons on any one Menu. If you have a Scene Selection Menu for 18 Chapters, then you have no room for a Back to Main Menu Button. If you have a Standard Project (4:3), you can have up to 36 Buttons on a Menu, so all is cool, so long as you can fit them into the area - NO element of a Button may overlap any element in another.
If one is creating, or editing a Menu Set, I strongly advise that they spend a great deal of time studying similar Menu Sets from the Library. There are many conventions that MUST be maintained, and if one does not, problems WILL occur.
This ARTICLE will give you a few tips on editing/creating PrE Menu Sets.
Steve Grisetti also has some useful articles on editing Menu Sets, on Muvipix.
For more options, regarding Menus and navigation, many like Sony's DVD Architect. One limitation of that program is that it does not use Photoshop PSD's for the Menus. I do not know about its Menu editing capabilities, or any limitations. I use Adobe Encore, and it does use PS Menus, and is also 100% manual, so I can set up any navigational scheme that I want - though I do this fully manually. Unfortunately, it is ONLY available bundled with PrPro, and not as a stand-alone.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • Menu Creations in Premiere Elements 7

Why can't I add a menu template? I followed the steps correctly and I still can't add a menu, what's wrong?

    Andy Herrman
Just a few thoughts before you decide to contact Adobe T/SAt this point, I also cannot judge if you have a serious problem with Premiere Elements 7 or if you are misunderstanding how to apply a DVD Menu to your project.
Does Import Media = you have used Get Media to bring media into the Project View/Media and have dragged it from there to the Timeline, applied some scene markers there, then hit Disc Menus OR have you just left the media in Project View/Media, nothing to the Timeline, and then hit Disc Menus? However, whether or not any thing is on the Timeline, you should still be getting a DVD Menu in the Disc Menus Monitor after you select a Menu and hit Apply.
    Clicked on Disc Menu
    Chose a MenuHit Apply
I was going to ask if you highlighted (blue rectangle) the Menu of choice, but, since you said that you clicked on Apply, I am further assuming that you did highlight the choice and therefore had an active (not grayed out) Apply Button.
After you hit Apply, did you get any message or dialogs, like:
    Missing Menu Marker Dialog
    Automatically Set Menu Scene Markers
At this point, in the bin below the Disc Menus Monitor, you should see a Main Menu and a Scene Menu. Which ever one of those is selected in the bin will be the one that is showing in the Monitor. So, when you say No menu would appear, are you saying that there were no menu images in the Monitor and/or the bin?
By any chance, are you looking for the DVD Menu to appear on the Timeline? You are never going to see the Main Menu or the Scene Menu on the Timeline of the program. You can edit the menu in the Disc Menus Monitor and check its button workings in the Monitor by pressing Preview.
Again, please excuse if I have asked inappropriate questions, but I was not sure what was happening or not happening in your situation.

  • How can I edit a DVD Template for Premiere Elements 10?

In previous versions of Premiere Elements, I would edit DVD Templates using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to include my logo and change the color or tint of the background. Now, I can only see the Fun template in the DVD Templates folder. I want to modify the Extreme Sports template, but can't find it now. Where are all the other templates located?

Install the excellent 'Search Everything' utility and enter 'extreme' as a search term. Note that when you first run 'Everything' it takes time to index your drive(s). After that though it is a nearly instantaneous start.

  • Editing menu screens in Premiere Elements 12

I have been using Premiere Elements 12 to put together a movie to burn onto a Blu-ray, but the image that I want to use as the background on the main menu screen keeps getting stretched horizontally.  The weird thing is that it looks fine when I'm just looking at the little preview window in the video editor, but when I click the "Preview Disc" button to see how it will look on a TV, then the image gets stretched.  Also, it doesn't actually reach the top and bottom of the screen the way I want it to, because the menu screen has letterbox bars that I can't get rid of.  I am using the "Secret Agent" template, if that makes any difference.  Is there any way to edit the template and maybe remove the letterbox bars so that it won't stretch my background image, or even just change the aspect ratio of the menu screen so that the bars will be less pronounced?

As far as I know Photoshop CC does not have an Adobe watermark associated with tryout as does Premiere Elements.
And, Photoshop CC is now marketed on a subscription basis.
Right now the only way I can get a full background replacement is to go into the main menu psd and replace its background
layer in the Layer Set with a 1920 x 1080 image.
I have found that will present full in the Movie Menu customization area but if I replace it with another image in Movie Customization those black "trims" are back.
This is what the Secret Agent (HD) looks like with its background layer replaced in the .psd using Photoshop CS5.1 and then the edited theme
opened in the Movie Menu customization area of the opened project
Just do not replace the Menu Background Video or Still that you see in the screenshot and you are OK.
I did a Snipping Tool copy of the background you posted to use for the demo.
We can talk about this some more in the morning.

  • I cannot find the command/template to force rebuild of users Spotlight

I give up, I have searched these forums, but cannot find it.
I need the command line to recreate the template, I know I found it online but cannot find it now.
What's worse I had a template for it, but re imaged the Mac on which I run ARD, and cannot find a copy or remember how to do it.
So does anyone have it or can they point me in the right direction to find.
    Thanks
    Phil

    Ah well,
Working on something else and remembered most of it, hacked it together and got it to work.
Here it is if anyone wants it, it will turn off, delete, then turn on Spotlight on a users Mac
    #!/bin/bash
    sudo mdutil -i off / /Volumes/*
    sudo mdutil -E / /Volumes/*
    sudo mdutil -i on / /Volumes/*

  • Cannot load media from organizer into premiere elements 9.0

I have spent the majority of the day trying to load media into a new project in premiere elements to edit the video. When I select the video and click edit in premiere elements, premiere opens but no media is available. It never loads the videos. I can review the videos including sound in elements organizer. I have a Canon Vixia HFS10, the file types were loaded directly to the harddrive of the computer as .mts. I have changed the presets for the type and that doesnt seem to help. I have updated premiere 9.0, disabled security, updated windows (vista).
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks,

Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 on Windows Vista (32 or 64 bit?)
Let us try the following before we get into an extensive exchange of problem details.
Your Elements Organizer 9 .mts video that you are trying to import as media into a Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 project is only a thumbnail that traces back to the source video which exists saved to a computer hard drive location.
What happens if you open a new project (with project preset set to match the properties of this particular video) and import this .mts video from the hard drive save location into the new project with Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1's Get Media/Files and Folders? Does the video import into the project?
As an aside, do you have any other versions of Premiere Elements installed on your computer besides Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1? Also, is this a "it worked before, but now" or "it never worked before" problem?
We will be watching for your follow up results.
    Thank you.

  • Where can I find the PDF manual for Premiere Elements?

Does Adobe have a full manual in PDF file format for Premiere Elements 9.0?
P.S. Watch out for trying to handle large (> 700meg) AVI files.  Phone support says I'm SOL on bringing in my 6.5 gig 24 minute file.  Their solution?
Bring it in small chunks or buy a new computer with more than 8gig of RAM.  Why don't they just tell you before you buy, that unless you have an awsome computer, don't waste your money on our software?

    Thanks John
I have reviewed the online information, and the DVD's and still don't see a full blown manual (PDF file format or otherwise).  If all you get is the
    Using Adobe Premiere Elements 9
Getting started with Adobe Premiere Elements
    Adobe Premiere Elements workspace
    Projects
    Capturing video
    , etc links
Then you ain't getting much information.
