Cannot find ipod control file

Hi guys
My pc crashed and ive lost all my music on itunes
When i connect my iphone to my new laptop i get internal storage-DCIM Then 3 folders containing pictures
I have enable show hidden files etc but all to no avail  i do not see the usual 4 files ie notes etc
Can anyone help ?

Either that or buy software that can try to extract the music from the phone.
You may want to invest in an external hard drive you can use for backup as well. They're cheap... What if those had been tax returns instead of music files and you got audited?

  • Songs selected restarting the iPod. Corrupt iPod Control file?

    My friend has a fifth gen iPod that seems to be on the fritz. Apparently the songs she loads on the iPod don't work when she disconnects it. The she tries to select them, the iPod turns off and then restarts. Has any one had this problem before or knows how to fix it? She's tried the built in error check tool and ran the diagnostic. Here is the log from the diagnostic:

    Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately I know that the songs aren't affected by the EQ. I'm pretty sure that it is either one song that is corrupt that is causing this to happen or that the iPod Control file that manages the loading and playing of the music is corrupt somehow.
    Yeah, I really don't expect too many people to even understand what that diagnostic garble actually means let a lone read it. I did notice after I posted this that the iTunesHelper was not running at the time. Since my friend lives in a different state I really can't check to see if it's on or not. I'm going to see if I can just restart the iTunesHelper (if I can figure out how) and see if that does the trick.

    I've just installed Firefox on my laptop and keep getting the message, "Windows cannot find 'c:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again." I get this message whenever I either try to open it from the Start menu or from the desktop icon. I've never gotten it to work and even uninstalled it and then redownloaded it and still cannot get it to open. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

    Are you installing from the official site? http://www.mozilla.com/firefox
    If you use Windows Explorer (My Computer) to check that path, is the Mozilla Firefox folder there? That is the normal installation location, but I think it's worth checking.
    If the folder isn't there or firefox.exe is not in it, I wonder whether some other software might be interfering. You might want to run some supplemental security scans. These two tools are highly regarded:
    Malwarebytes Anti-malware : http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free

    Cannot reinstate catalog after returning PC (Windows 7) to factory settings (because of worm infection). Catalog was backed up on external drive but not using PSE backup facility. Cannot find and *.tly file. Is this hopeless?

    If you made backups of all of your photos and your catalog file using some third-party method (i.e. not using the PSE catalog backup command), then you should be able to restore everything.
    Step 1. Put the photos in the EXACT SAME LOCATION as before. For example, if they were in subfolders of C:\Users\<username>\Documents, then they must go into the exact same subfolders of C:\Users\<username>\Documents.
    Step 2. Move the catalog file to wherever you want it to be, and then double-click on it.

  • Jdev 10.1.2  JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file bc4j.xcfg in cla

    Hi all,
    i have a ear application containing a web app and a bc4j module deployed on the embedded oc4j instance inside JDeveloper 10.1.2 (build 1929). Inside the model i have a topic durable subscriber that, when a message is sent, invoke, by reflection, a java class to perform the job. Inside the java class i need an Application Module so i write
    ApplicationModule am = Configuration.createRootApplicationModule(fullClassName, configuration);
    but i get the error in the subject.
    Here is a piece of the stack trace

    If i invoke the java class (the task) by command line inside jdev all works fine.
    I've read all the stuff about this exception but they do not apply to mi problem (I run the adf runtime installer, i try with an oc4j extended and standalone....)
    Please help us. Thanks
    Any ideas?
    Suggestion?

    This program is an example of basically what ADFBC will be trying to do to open/parse the bc4j.xcfg file. Can you incorporate the same lines into your test program to see if it also behaves the same in your JMS-initiated Java class ?
    Of course, you'll need to substitute "sample/common/bc4j.xcfg" with your relevant path name.
    package sample;
    import java.io.IOException;
    import oracle.xml.parser.v2.DOMParser;
    import oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLDocument;
    import oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLParseException;
    import org.xml.sax.SAXException;
    public class Class1 {
      public static void main(String[] args) throws XMLParseException,
                                                      SAXException, IOException {
        DOMParser d = new DOMParser();
       d.parse(Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader().getResource("sample/common/bc4j.xcfg"));
        XMLDocument doc = d.getDocument();
        doc.print(System.out);
    }

  • Cannot find the configuration file in classpath

    Cannot find the configuration file /oracle/apps/prc/po/....applicationModule/common/bc4j.xcfg in the classpath.
    Hi!
    I'm trying to run the following code:
    String appModule = "oracle.apps.prc.po.manageDocument.uiModel.viewDocument.applicationModule.ViewPurchasingDocumentApplicationModule";
    String cfg = "ViewPurchasingDocumentApplicationModuleLocal";
    ApplicationModule applicationModule = (ApplicationModule)Configuration.createRootApplicationModule(appModule, cfg);
    I get this error message:
    Exception in thread "main" oracle.jbo.ConfigException: JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /oracle/apps/prc/po/manageDocument/uiModel/viewDocument/applicationModule/common/bc4j.xcfg in the classpath

    I have checked and the config file does exist in the correct directory, and I can see it in my Application Module - Configurations. Any idea why this is happening? Am I supposed to configure something specifically for this or add it in my classpath? If so, how am I supposed to do it?
    Thanks

    Where is the code you posted? Running in a separate project, I assume? Does that project have a dependency on the project containing the app module specified?
    And just to check (although by default, JDev should do this for you)--the app module project has been compiled since adding the configuration, right? You need to check to make sure the config exists not only under Project/src, but under Project/classes.

    Oh, and BTW--I assume this is not a typical ADF application, right? In a standard ADF application, you would very rarely need to instantiate an application module in code like this; you could just let the data binding facility do it for you. The technique like the one you're using is most appropriate for purely programmatic, no-UI cases. (e.g., once I tried to implement an SMTP server backed by business components. That was an appropriate case for ditching databindings and doing the sort of thing you're doing, because it had no view layer (because it had no UI to render).

    Hi Resmi
    It seems the configuration file of your app module has been delete, try re-creating your Module configuration or creating a new Module.

    In the exported dump directory, we truly cannot find above TOC files.
    We did not have any ERROR during the export phase.
    According to my experience, this might be caused by the fact that this ABAP BW system has a JAVA add-on
    on a different server with a dfferent SID than the ABAP SID -- but the JAVA DB is in the same database as the ABAP but with a different schema. Therefore when we do export source system->central system->ABAP based, those TOC files could not be created. However I do not have the document created in my previous project, I cannot verify my impression.
    Are SAPDDIM and SAPDFACT standard SAP objects?
    Please help  input your opinions.
    Thanks!

  • Building PHP 5.2.5 and MySQL (Cannot find MySQL header files under /usr.)

    Hi,
    we are in big trouble here. On Mac OS X 10.4 it was no problem building PHP with additional modules. Unfortunately it´s not working this time.
    This is the error message i got when building php:
    checking for mSQL support... no
    checking for MSSQL support via FreeTDS... no
    checking for MySQL support... yes
    checking for specified location of the MySQL UNIX socket... /var/mysql/mysql.sock
    checking for MySQL UNIX socket location... /var/mysql/mysql.sock
    configure: error: Cannot find MySQL header files under /usr.
    Note that the MySQL client library is not bundled anymore!
    Looks like some libs are missing?!
    find / -iname 'libmysqlclient*'
    That doesn´t helper neither. No results.
    Any idera what´s wrong here?

    the php in 10.5 uses extensions, you do not need to rebuild php to get mssql to work..
    Take a look at http://downloads.topicdesk.com/docs/AddingGD2_to_PHP_on_OS_X_Server_10_5Leopard.pdf
    as you can see in that example GD is built separately, mssql is the same.. do a google search on mssql.so and you will find a bunch of info (most of it is for linux but you should be able to get the info to work)

  • JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file bc4j.xcfg in the classpath

    We have an application created using Oracle JDeveloper 9i connected to Oracle 10g DB hosted on:
    windows 2000 server with Oracle Application Server 9i (9.0.3.0)
    It was working fine until we transfer our Data center to another location and new netwrok design was implemented including changing IP addresses
    So we deinstalled AS and install again and deployed the war file...
    then , I tried to change this file : bc4j.xcfg (where connection string was stored in) to update the new DB Server IP address
    I got this error :
    JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file EumrDB\common\bc4j.xcfg in the classpath
    I tried everything including restarting the server , deploying different version of war files ... Your help is appreciated...

    Hi,
    Did you change the bc4j.xcfg file manually by extracting from the war file and then adding back to war file? Have you tried opening the application in JDeveloper, change the connection, re-deploy to war file and deploy to application server?

    Hello,
    i'm new on this board and found it while i was searching for an solution of my problem.

    in project 1 there are entity objects, view objects and an application object.
    in project 2 there are jsp's action classes and form beans (i try to use Struts).
    in one jsp i try this:
    <jbo:ApplicationModule id="am" configname="*.*.*.bc4j.ReportingModule" releasemode="Stateful" />
    <jbo: DataSource id="ds" appid="am" viewobject="*.*.*.bc4j.HilfeTexteView" />

    i think it dont work, because the configuration file bc4j.xcfg is in project 1 folder and i try to take it out of projeck 2 folder
    I hope you know what i try to tell you

  • What causes JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /common/bc4j.xcfg

    I know that the jbo exception message:
    JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /common/bc4j.xcfg
    can be caused by several things including the file really not being there. But in my current case, I know it is there and can be found throgh the classpath, because I actually find it using Configuration.buildConfigurationFileNameFromClassPath and
    Configuration.getConfiguration just before calling Configuration.createRootApplicationModule. Is there any way to turn on a diagnostic to find out what is really wrong?
    I would also like to request an enhancement to give meaningful messages in the jbo exception.
    Roger

    This is on jdev 903 with patch running a local application attempting to connect to standalone OC4J 903. I think the error occurs before there is ever any attempt to make the connection to OC4J. Having one big catch-all exception for everything that can go wrong in creating the AM is pretty poor. I know in the past I have done manual editing of bc4j.xcfg and XML sentax errors cause exactly the same exception as not having the file at all. That is why I would at least like a list of all the causes behind the exception so I can go through and check them all.
    Thanks,
    Roger
