Cannot find my iphoto application ...

I have no idea what I did.. or my friend who used it, but it appears to be MIA. My pictures are around, but I can only preview them.. I just so happen to see the iphoto icon in garageband and other places, but the actual application icon is no longer in my Applications folder or on the toolbar.
What do I do? Is there a way to pull it back from somewhere?

Click on the external drive and choose Get Info from the File menu. If the format contains Mac OS Extended with or without anything after it, drag the iPhoto Library of the Pictures item in the Finder's sidebar to it. If not, open the Disk Utility in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and depending on your needs, erase the drive, create a new partition in that format on it, or create a disk image on it(must be smaller than 4GB if drive is in the MS-DOS format.)

The iPhoto library should be in your user folder/Pictures unless it was moved.

    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu and provide ~/Pictures/ as the path. If that doesn't work, control-click a photo in iPhoto, show it in the Finder, and Command-click the folder's name in the window's title bar to find the path.

  • Cannot find the iMovie application

I just started teaching at a new school which uses iMacs. The students in my classes are doing video work, and need iMovie. For some reason I cannot find iMovie in the applications folder (nor any of the subfolders). It doesn't show up in a search either. When I use spotlight and find iMovie projects, however, the program will open. How can I find the .app file (I'm assuming that's what I'm looking for, but I'm not really a mac poweruser yet so I'm not sure) and put it back in the applications folder then put it back on the dock?
I also don't have access to the original install disc, so I have to fix this without reinstalling anything.
    Thanks!

  • Cannot find deployed BPM application in bpm workspace with BPM 11.1.1.7.0

I created a bpm suite 11.1.1.7.0 servers with one admin server and one soa managed server. I deployed a BPMN application to it according to the "Building Your First Process with Oracle BPM 11g" tutorial (a little bit changes according to thread https://forums.oracle.com/thread/2355518). I deployed it successfully by jdeveloper. I can find the UI project and SOA composite in EM, and the human tasks have URI in administration tab. However, when I try to open the BPM worspace and try to find the application that are deployed, the list is empty and got ADFC error in manged server console. How can I fix this problem? In bpm suite 11.1.1.6.0, there is no such problem. Thanks

    Hi!,
when that happend to me, I used to do the next steps:
In EM, go to FARM_SOA...>SOA>SOA-INFRA>Default, right clic on your proyect and uninstall it
Log in into your BPM workspace as your administrator> Administration, and erase all roles for that project and save.
Install your project from jdeveloper again.
Log in into your BPM workspace as your administrator> Administration, clic on your project.ProcesOwner Role, and add your user on the members below section
After adding thee user, clic SAVE
Do the same for all the roles of your project
This worked for me, remember to clic the save button after adding a member for the role
    hope it helps!,
    regards.

  • Cannot find new iPhoto files

Since moving my photos over to a new imac two years ago, none of my new photos show up in finder. Only those I imported at the time I moved everything from my old mac. How do I find them and make them visible in finder.

Then you used a referenced import on your old Mac. You imported with the iPhoto Preferences > Advanced > Importing "Copy items to the Photo Library" turned off. Then your older photos have not been imported to iPhoto and the copies in the Pictures folder are your only copies. Do not modify or delete them, or you will no longer be able to use them with iPhoto.
If you want to access your iPhoto photos from other programs, it is much safer to use one of the other methods, described by Terence Devlin in "  How to Access Files in iPhoto".
you can export them (File > Export),
    Reveal them in the Finder
see them in the Media Browser,
or set an external Editor in the "Advanced" Preferences.

  • N95-2: Cannot find pre-installed applications

    Hi
I just purchased a N95-2 series phone. On my phone, the app manager shows Snakes, FIFA08 and asphalt 2 installed. However, these do not appear anywhere in n-gage games application.
Can someone tell me where I can find and access these games?
    Many thanks

If this is the case, is there any way I can recover these applications? Or maybe delete them and reinstall from the phone itself?

    Hello Kumato,
    First quit all running application.
In top right corner you will see a lil magnifying glass-> click in it [spotlight]
in spotlight type in -> Photoshop.
if it gives any results in application it means its installed.
Click on photoshop if it there in drop down list.
Otherwise you need to install from creative cloud
Similarly type  creative cloud in spotlight and click on it
Under apps Tab -> Photoshop CC/CS6 -> Install
    or
go to creative.adobe.com -> sign in -> seach for photoshop in download center and click download.
