Cannot find pic shown on main "Photo Albums" page''

Going into "Photos" brings up the "Photo Albums" main page.
Along the Left side, there is a small picture for each of the Albums (Typically the first picture in that album).
For "Camera Roll" a picture is shown that does not exist in "Camera Roll" or any of the albums on the phone. (Noting that It was a picture taken with the phone).
The picture is a good picture that I want to save on my computer.
Is there any way to do this?

You might need to reset and or restore the iphone to resolve any software issues.

If it's not too late, see Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. As long as you have a backup of the device when the device still held your photos you should stand a chance of recovering them using a tool such as iPhone Backup Extractor.

IWeb 09' photo album page cannot be displayed on IE7/8

I have created a photo album page with iWeb 09'. Publish to a folder and test on Windows system (IE6/7/8). All photo frames cannot be displayed, but just the title and some text. The page is blank afterwards with background colour only. Firefox for Windows is fine. Anything I can do as there is no other option for export / publish webpage to folder...... thanks a lot.

Movies on photo album page not working correctly

I have movies on some photo album pages, and only since updating to Snow Leopard, when I click on a movie, the sound begins to play, but the picture sticks on the poster frame. If I go "back to album" and click the movie again, it will usually play normally. What gives? Anyone else have this happening?

I have a similar problem with movies. Put a movie made on the iphone into a space holder place on a Blog page. Got the green plus sign and it played on the page.
After publishing I see the first frame on the main blog page, but when I click read more to see the movie and whole blog entry I get a faded quicktime symbol with a question mark symbol in the middle.

Vertical Pictures Cut Off in Photo Album Page

On my photo albums page, the picture I want to use as the first picture is a vertical picture. But on the albums page, the albums are all horizontal. So when someone goes to look at my albums page, they just see these cut-off pictures with heads missing. Is there a way to change the orientation of the albums so they are vertical? Or is there a way to edit the first picture so that you can move the picture down so at least the head is showing in the horizontal view?

Hi Kara,
the only solution I can find is to drop a vertical photo into the MyAlbums page and cover the album with it (thus hiding the other head-less photo) linking that photo to the photopage.
However this will cause the effects moving the pointer over the album cover (skim, dissolve, ...) to disappear.
As far as I know albums can't be rotated and vertical photos are cut off and you can't tell iWeb not to cut them off...

iWeb has no Italian version.
The language setting on your computer determines the language that is used.
Change the language settings on your computer or use this :

I cannot see the pictures in the photo albums (IPhone6)

Hi, i have recently bought a new IPhone 6 and synced everything from Icloud to the new phone. Everything works perfectly except one little thing which i cannot solve..
I can see all the photo albums in the Photos but the albums i had created in my previous iphone are empty. The name and the number of pictures in them is there (e.g.: Budapest - 19) but when i open the album it says that the folder is empty and i can add or sync pictures.
has anyone seen something like this? what shall i do?

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images, the permissions.default.image pref should be 1.
There are also extensions like Adblock Plus (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images and other content.

Photos showing up in Wallpaper Photo Album, but not Main Photo Album

I just switched to iPhone - love it. Just transferred all of my photos from my old device into my iPhone via iTunes. They show they are in the iPhone when I check the iTunes capacity at the bottom, and they all show up as options for my wallpaper in the wallpaper settings. However, when I just go to the Photos app on my main screen they aren't in the Photo Album there (not the camera roll either but I expected that).
Thoughts on this? Did I do something wrong in the transfer? None of the files are corrupt - I was able to open them all in the wallpaper area but they just aren't available in the normal photo album.

How to move an album into the main photos album

Hi, I created an album from my main photo secton under LIBRARY and it removed the photos from that. I'm not sure how to get them back and would like to. Thanks

If you see them in the Album, and you can double click on them to see them larger, then they ARE in the library section.
Albums are "short cuts" back to the library, and if they were not in the library, they would not be in the Album either.
To locate which event the images are in.....do the following:
- launch iPhoto and select the album where you can see all the images
- hold down control, on your keyboard, then click on one of the images you see in the album. Select "show event"
- this will then launch the event that the image is in

email attachments can only be viewed, you cannot move, cut, copy, paste...
you will need to download the picture emailed to you on your iphone to your computer and if you want, upload to your photo album on your iphone.

Need help editing scanned images of old photo album pages PSE 9

Before I begin this project, I thought I'd get some advice from someone who has undertaken a similar project. I have three photo albums from the 50's and 60's. The albums were made by my mother who mounted the photos (mostly black and white but some color photos) on construction paper (of various colors) using the corner holders or glue. She hand cut the construction paper so each page is not a perfect rectangle ( about 11" tall, 8.5" wide). The pages were punched and put into a three-ring binder.
She added text to the edge of the photo and/or to the construction paper. Each page contains one to 6 photos and text. Each album has about 120 pages. I want to keep the notes on the construction paper so I scanned each page into a TIF files, 400 dpi and stored the images in a separate folder for each volume.
I use (poorly) PSE 9. I see it has a auto straighten/crop feature that can be used one photo at a time. I tried the divide scanned images function and that did not fully separate all images on the page and also created an image for stray objects on the page such as an unused corner holder. (I know those things have a better name but it escapes me now.)
I plan to create photo books for my siblings. I am now thinking of cropping the image of each page (rather than each photo on the page) into a uniform size, adjusting levels, contrast and sharpness, saving this image to a JPEG file, and using these edited JPEG images to create the photo book. Since each page was hand-cut, there will areas of white where one page was torn or cut smaller than another page. Some pages will have blanks where old photos have been lost leaving behind only the corner things. It won't be perfect but it will be an image of the album as it exists today.
My questions are:
The pages are about 11 by 8.5. Does anyone know a photo service that prints photo albums in a portrait layout in this size? I have been unable to find one; it looks like most online photo books are wider rather than taller.
Let's assume I use a company such as Shutterfly that offers a 12x12 format. I assume it would be better to edit the images in PSE9 rather than any online software. What should I do to keep the proportions in the current images true but make the image fit a 12x12 page, for example?
IS there any other editing software anyone can recommend that will speed this up, hopefully a software that would take multiple photos at one time, auto-straighten and auto crop to a set size? And also auto contrast/level/sharp. If I could use such auto features on these images and then go back and adjust the photos that did not play well with the auto features, that would save me time.
I appreciate anyone's input. I dread doing this but we have one set of photos and 5 siblings so it has to be done. Thanks!

Mentioning your issues one by one:
1) PSE does not have any portrait Photobook available, so your thought was the best way to get the work done is by choosing the 12x12 - shutterfly one.
2) PSe does a good job of editing the images. You can set your images of approx. 11x8 size to fit to the 12x12 page. Just choose a one photo page Layout for the page and then right click on the image to " Fit photo in the frame".
3) If more edits are required for the image, you can easily go to Advanced mode and edit your photos, layouts, move the frames, images or add effects to the images.
4) Photo book creation sure takes time. because, you want it to be the best. I am sure PSE would help you best here.
Go ahead and create you photobook. Inc ase you get stuck somewhere, you can always post here to get help!

Is There a Way to Have Multiple Photo-Album Pages?

... specifically by duplicating a current album page. I have an Album page with 13 albums on it, which makes for slow loading.
I was thinking of breaking it into 3 Album pages. The easiest way, it would seem, would be to duplicate the existing Album page twice and then deleting the Albums I didn't want on each page. But Duplicate is grayed out for the Album page. Is starting from scratch the only way to have a 2nd or 3rd album page?
It also doesn't seem to be possible to copy an album so it can pasted on a new Album page.

Just as Cyclosaurus pointed out if you drag a photos page from an existing album page onto the icon of a new, empty album page that photos page will be transferred/moved to the new album page and the captions will be maintained.
Give it a try and if it doesn't do what you expect just quit iWeb without saving any changes.

Photo album page won't publish in Go Daddy but does on Mobile Me...?

Created a photo page (from an iWeb template) which publishes properly in Mobile Me, but when published to a Go Daddy account, the photo album portion is blank. The "Play Slideshow" button is there, but no photos. Familiar to anyone else?

Lots of people (including me) are having problems with both photos and the navigation bar not working when we use the built in FTP server of iWeb. I haven't found an answer yet.
