Cannot Find Previous Purchases

I have bought quite a few ringtones but when I change my phone or computer to a new one they don't show up in my iTunes. If I try to go and buy the same ringtones like you would do with app's it charges me twice even though the message says "You own this already. Are you sure you want to purchase?"
Someone please help me figure this out.

I've no idea why your music would have been deleted. However, if you didn't make a back-up of your purchases to restore from then I'm sorry to say that the policy on lost purchases is that you have to pay to download them again:
"Once a Product is purchased and you receive the Product, it is your responsibility not to lose, destroy, or damage the Product, and Apple shall be without liability to you in the event of any loss, destruction, or damage." iTunes Store: Purchased content can be downloaded only once
You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and they may sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. We are fellow users on here, you are not talking to iTunes Support here.
Whether a film will show in the Purchased link will depend upon what country that you are in (redownloading films isn't possible in all countries), what studio that they are from (not all allow re-downloading), whether they are still in the store (studios occasionally remove them from the store), and whether you've hidden them or not (hiding and unhiding).
Do any films show in the Purchased link, and do you not have copies of them somewhere ? If some do show but others don't then are they hidden (some might also have been removed from the store or the studio doesn't allow re-downloading) ? If you do have Movies as an option in the Purchased tab and you think that there should be more listed there (and you haven't changed countries since buying them), then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they know why they aren't showing
But as with all content from the store you should be keeping and maintaining your own backup copy of them, as there is no guarantee that a content provider won't remove their items from the store.

I have no clue what you mean. If you downloaded the audiobooks in iTunes on your computer or of you transferred the audiobooks from the iPad to iTunes via the transfer purchases feature, the books should be in your iTunes library,
If you are looking to download them again in the purchased section of iTunes, you have to buy them again. Audiobooks cannot be downloaded again for free. They are not part of iTunes in the cloud.

- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
If you can't log into Settings>iTunes and App stores with your new ID them mean there is a problem. Try restting the password and try to sign in again.

Cannot find apps purchased for iPhone and iPad in iTune

My iMac 27 running very slowly under Mavericks and since the upgrade of iTune to version 12.01.26 being impossible to complete a sync of my iPhone and iPad I decided to completely reset my iMac 27. Before doing this I copied all the files I wanted to keep on my MacBook Pro (including all my music and apps for iPhone and iPad).
The OS X Mavericks being no longer available on the App Store I completely reset my iMac 27 and installed OS X Yosemite 10.10. Once this was done I copied back all the files I wanted to keep from my MacBook Pro (running Mavericks) to my iMac 27 (now running Yosemite). There was no problem with all my music now appearing in iTune. However I cannot find any of the apps I bought for my iPhone and iPad and which I copied back from my MacBook Pro (running Mavericks) to my iMac 27 (now running Yosemite).
All the copied back apps appear correctly in the following directory of my iMac 27 :
Musique/iTunes/iTunes Media/Mobile Applications/
However none appear in any of the 5 sections in the Apps section of iTune.
I decided to purchase an app in the App Store to see where the related file would appear and it appears in the same directory as stated above. I can see the icon of this newly purchased app in the app section of iTune but none of the apps I recopied from my MacBook Pro. Moreover when I go in the app store to see the newly purchased app I can see that it has been downloaded. However when I try to do the same for the apps I have already purchased and recopied the App Store tells me to purchase them. When I try to do the same on my MacBook Pro the App Store tells me that the apps have already been purchased, though they were the copied apps from my iMac 27 before full reset.
Can someone help me to get all my previously purchased apps in iTune on my iMac 27 so I can sync my iPhone and iPad without loosing all the apps which appear on them ?

Fruit Ninja has a unique iPhone version and a unique iPAD version. So for this particular App you can buy both. That said, if you decide to buy the iPhone version, the iPhone version will also work on your iPAD too. But the iPAD version which you have already purchased will not work on the iPhone.
So to summarize, iPhone apps will work on iPAD, but iPAD unique or specific apps will not work on the iPhone. Some apps are designed to work on both beyond the features of just the iPhone app. The Fruit Ninja HD unique or specific iPAD app will not work on the iPhone.

Cannot load previous purchases in iTunes 10.3

In iTunes 10.3.1 I cannot download anything from the cloud. Whenever I go to the "download previous purchases" section it always tells me " temporarily unable to load your purchased items". It's been like this since 10.3 beta was released. Is there something I can do or is it iTunes itself? I've tried searching for help and no one seems to have this problem, or at least not enough where I can find them. I've also found that when I go to the "Purchases" tab in the iTunes Store I get the error -1202. I've tried searched that error and my time and date are correct, but when I try to copy link and open in browser I get an 500 internal error. I am able to get to purchase history though by clicking the "Purchased" tab on the sidebar of iTunes and clicking the "download previous purchases" as I mentione before.

I have the exact same issue. I cannot view my purchases in the iTunes store and cannot subscribe to podcasts, among other things. The stuff I already tried (multiple times):
- Checked date and time
- Latest iTunes version
- All Windows updates installed
- Installed the March 2011 root certificates update
- Disabled "Check certificate revocation" in IE(8)
- Uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled iTunes
- Deleted all Apple and Apple Computer folders in C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\ [ Local | LocalLow | Roaming ], thus creating an entirely new profile on next iTunes start
- Rebooted PC several times
I'm running Windows 7 64bit with iTunes 64bit latest (10.3.1.55)
I really hope to have this resolved soon, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

How do I find Previously Purchased Shows?

I downloaded Season 5 of Stargate Atlantis (yes I am fan) to my laptop. I ended up wiping my laptop due to a virus I got on it. I went back to Manufacture's specs.
Now I have downloaded Itunes again back on to my laptop and still have my same account as I did before but no Previously purchased items.
I spent almost $25.00 on these downloads, and please don't tell me I have to download them again, its bad enough I can't burn them to DVD :rolleyes:

I had purchased iTunes music about a year ago. My old PC has been reimaged and I am now using a new PC. I went to purchase a song and it stated I already purchased it. How do I get old music that I previously purchased downloaded into my current library?

You don't.
The music will only be where you put it. Where is your backup copy? You should back up your music, particularly purchased music.

HT4710 Where do I find previously purchased guitar lessons on Garage Band?

I've just tried to redownload a previously purchased lesson from within an updated Garage Band.
It did aknowledge that I had already purchased the item/lesson and, as it usualy did with the songs from iTunes a few months ago (just before iCloud), it asked me if I wanted to repurchase the item.
As I had no other visible way of redownloading the lesson I pressed the ok button.
The problem is that, afterwards, it did, in fact, charge my credit card for this redownload. As a matter of fact it did charge my credit card twice since I did click the button a second time few seconds after, as I wasn't sure that everything was right.
So now, I've paied 3 times for the same lesson:
- 1st one, the 9th of January of 2010.
- 2nd and 3rd, the 11th of August of 2012.
Does anyone know how can I redownload all the lessons I've purchased back in 2010?
Since I've updated to the latest version of Garage Band (sold through the App Store) I've lost all of them. What can I do?
I know Apple aknowledges the sell of those (anyway I have the invoices), but I can't find any of those applestore purchases I've made prior to the last 18 months (I'm refering to my Apple Store Account > Orders page)
And since now we don't have Express Lane anymore I'm in a deathend!

For me this worked beautifully. After signing into the account and viewing the Order history, I found Sting waiting for me to download again.

I cannot open previous purchased I tubes video from the cloud

I have previously purchased I tunes movies but cannot download them from I Cloud. I am in flight but have purchased Wi fi and I synced my I pad to my Mac last night with the content I was hoping to view on the flight.

Yes it said i had alrdy bought it but i could see anywhere where i had bought it. I saw it downloading last night, I went and checked my mail, checked my bank account, and looked on itunes but it was like i never ordered; but when i looked at Itunes again it said i had purchased the same movie but had no record of it.

ITunes 12 - cannot download previous purchases

HI everybody
I the new iTunes 12, I cannot seem to download my previous purchases through "manage previous purchases". When I click on "manage previous purchases, the process seems to start up, but then freezes, and I get an error message saying "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close". There is then no option but to click "close program" and, surprise surprise, the program closes. I have tried re-installing and de-activating and re-activating, and nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

Cannot download previously purchased music

I am trying to download previously purchased music, Darius Rucker True Believer album, to my iPhone 5. I've tried using my LTE connection and WiFi. When I click on the cloud icon, it spins for a few seconds then stops. If I try to stream the song it just goes to the next song that's actually on my iPhone. I get no error message or prompt to sign in with my credentials. Having the same issue with a few other songs. I've downloaded updates and podcasts today so I know my connection is working.
I am not using iTunes Match.
Any ideas?

Cannot play previously purchased songs

I have a handful of songs that I previously purchased that can no longer be played. When I try to play them, it asks me to authorize the computer but it is already authorized. I even unauthorized the computer and authorized it again. Other purchased songs work and I know my account is OK.
When I view the Summary on Get Info, I noticed that these songs do not show a Purchased Date as others do. They do show Purchased by and my Apple id.
Ideas?? Is this a version issue or something that can be resolved?

It sounds like you have multiple Apple ID’s associated. Once the 90 days are up, you are able to associate the Apple ID with your iPhone. Another option is to restore your iPhone and setup as new. The article below will explain further about assocating Apple ID's to devices.
