When I open my MS Visio 2013, I can see the Rack Diagram template, but when i cannot find the shapes/stencils of the Rack Diagram

Did you use Visio 2013 standard version? If it was, please download the Rack Diagram template:

Multi Page Diagrams in Visio (2013)
Hi,
I have a very large diagram to produce, that does split nicely (by department) over several pages, although data / processes do flow between the pages.
I also want to be able to have a link to each Department's diagram within their own Word document.
If I have one, multi paged VSDx file, I can connect the data stores across the pages using an off page connector - but will I then be able to have a hyperlink to the individual page in my Word doc?
Alternatively, if each Departments diagram is a separate .VSDx it means that I can easily put the hyperlink in Word, but can Visio link objects in separate VSDx files?
Or is there any other way of achieving these to aims?

Cannot find UML diagrams in the "New" dialog
I must be missing something simple but I can't for the life of me figure out how to create a UML diagram in JDev 11g. I had previously had the beta version with which I had no problems. But since I installed the release version, there is no "Diagram" category in the "New" dialog.
Are there different packages of the product that have different capabilities? It doesn't seem so from the download site. Or is there an extension I'm missing?
I've searched the forum to no avail.
I'm running on Mac OS X 10.5.6. Below is my version info:

You're running the Java Edition of the product not the full Studio*.* If you downloaded and installed the studio edition then the issue will be that you started the product with the Java Dvelopment role - You can fix that simply:
Tools > Preferences > Roles, check the Always prompt for role selection at startup and then restart JDeveloper. -

I have downloaded Visual Studio Express 2013 for Windows Desktop and am currently working my through the introduction sessions on: http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/program_structure/
I did not get far before i encountered this error whilst trying to run my segment of code. I am completely new to all this so please bear with me :)
The error window said:
"Unable to start program 'c\users\username\documents\visual studio 2013\Projects\ConsoleApplication1\Debug\ConsoleApplication1.exe'.
The system cannot find the file specified.
Would love some simplified help please if this is indeed the right area of the forum to post this in.

Based on your issue, to check if the issue is related to the VS IDE or your specified C++ project, I suggest you can refer the following MSDN document to check if you get same issue.

(1)you get same error in the new c++ console application, maybe you will need to repair or re-install the VS2013 check this issue again.
(2)If you did not get the issue in the new c++ console, so I suggest you try to clean and build your c++ console application, then debug it again.

Issue: We have upgraded TFS 2013 App Server and Build Servers from TFS 2013 RTM to TFS 2013 update 4. Everything looks good but we are receiving the below error:

Hope there is nothing wrong with the update.
Yesterday, Our developers were troubleshooting the issue with the builds and found that
Build Activities dll has the reference of LibGit2Sharp.dll
version 01.12.0.3051.0. After TFS upgrade, Build activities does not have a reference for the new version of
LibGit2Sharp.dll [required] which has caused the issue in the build process.
Error: Could not load file or assembly 'LibGit2Sharp, Version=0.13.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Resolution: New version of LibGit2Sharp.dll
was added and referenced to Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Build.Activities.dll
which has resolved the issue with the builds.
I think this should be referenced somewhere regarding TFS Update 4 so that everyone will be able to spot the issue and fix the issue without any issues. -
Cannot install Office 2013 - Seup cannot find or validate an installation file
I downloaded the trial version of Office 2013 to evaluate it, but was unable to install it because I kept getting the following error...
Setup cannot find or validate an installation file. Please try reinstalling office from your installation source or if you installed from a downloaded package, please re-download and reinstall. If you continue to haVe problems
contact Microsoft or your system administrator.
I tried re-downloading the program - again I was met with the same problem. I tried running the setup file as administrator - problem remained. I tried copying the program to the hard drive and running it from there as the administrator - problem
remained. I downloaded Microsoft fixit tool for problem installations and ran that - that was no use either. The error message just kept coming back again.
I am assuming the setup file is corrupted in some way but seem unable to get an alternative setup file that will actually INSTALL. Or is there something so blatantly obvious going on that I'm missing it?
Help please!I deployed Office 2k13 to client machine via SCCM 2012 R2. It did that flawlessly but I got the same error after trying to uninstall Office 2k13.

Hi, your command-line is not valid - you are using a "relative" path for the <config.xml> and that is not supported..

Note: You must use a fully qualified path. Setup does not recognize relative paths with /config.
Instead, I suggest that you copy your "Uninstall.xml" file to the same folder where setup.exe exists, then, adjust your command-line like this:

Visio setup cannot find Visio.en-us\VisioLR.cab
When I attempt to install Visio 32bit on a laptop running 32bit Windows 7 I get the following error message when installation begins copying files.
"Setup cannot find Visio.en-us\VisioLR.cab. Browse to a valid installation source, and then click ok."
I am attempting to install from the CD. When I try to browse to the VisioLR.cab file on the CD, during the installation the file does not show up.
Any help I can get is appreciated.It's on both of my images (x86 and x64). Since that directory is for the US english version, what language is the disk for and where did you get it? The download version from MS is an EXE and not a disk image.

[Exchange 2013] Cannot find Template User object error

I've faced with really strange issue. When I try to execute cmdlet Get-Recipient for user from @hotmail.com, @outlook.com and @live.com domains I get error "Cannot find Template User", even SilentlyContinue is used.
Let me show an example. Open PowerShell and load exchange snapin:

It works well for others domains (e.g. gmail.com), besides it works well for Exchange 2010. And finally it works well in Exchange Management shell.
What does the error mean? Why Get-Recipient doesn't work only for Microsoft's domains?
Thanks in advance!I have seen a lot of weird errors and sometimes incomplete results when manually adding the Exchange Snappin into powershell. Exchange 2010+ is setup for remote powershell, so if your on the server then use the exchange shell which will do all the remoting
for you, or you can setup the remote session your self.

How to get mouse over shape to display data in Visio 2013?
Hi Visio pros,
I am required to create a diagram of our servers rack setup and will be publishing to a Web page using Visio 2013.
The goal is to mouse over the server shape and have the data be displayed. I have followed arguably every solution on the internet. I am either doing it wrong, or it might be outdated information.
I'm hoping Paul Herber, or other Visio pros would be able to help me with this situation as I am on a tight schedule and have exhausted my resources.
Things I have tried:
user.visEquivTitle in ShapeSheet

Browser that I am using is Internet Explorer since I ran into problems with Google Chrome.
However, after more reading I noticed the User.visEquivTitle provides a tooltip. If it is what I think it is, which is a small yellow box displaying a string, my employer would not want that.
We're looking for something that will provide an aesthetic display of data after mouse over onto the shape.

I want to create a new Master Shape in the Microsoft Visio 2013 x64 like the Class
Master Shape in the UML Class Stencil.
When add the Class Master Shape to a page, it appends two Member and one Separator Master Shapes in itself automatically. Furthermore, can add more Member and Separator Master Shapes in it.
I was thinking that it adds other Master Shapes in itself by some written VBA codes; however, when I checked the file of the UML Class (Metric)
Stencil in the following full path, I got that it uses no VBA codes, not at all.
D:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\Visio Content\1033\USTRME_M.VSSX
The file extension is "Visio Stencil (*.vssx)" instead of "Visio Macro-Enabled Stencil (*.vssm)"; so, it can't have VBA codes.
I know that I can do something by adding some new Rows in the Actions Section of the ShapeSheet; however, it doesn't exist any action Rows to add fresh Member and Separator Master Shapes for Class Shape.

When I do RMB click on a Class Shape that is placed in the page, it has two new options in theContext Menu:
Show Template Parameter
Show Stereotype
And I see related Actions' Section Rows for them.

When I do RMB click on the Member and Separator Shapes in added Class Shape, can see "Insert "Member/Separator" before/after";
however, when I add Member and Separator Master Shapes on the page directly (not in the Class Shape), when I do RMB click on them, can't see extra options in the Context Menu.

I checked their ShapeSheet and can't find any related rows for above-mentioned actions.
Now, my question is that how can I create a new Master Shape with the ability to accept some other Master Shapes without any VBA codes like Class Shape
in the UML Class Stencil that is created by Microsoft?
Regards Mohsen RostamiThe class diagram master shape is a "Container/List" shape, which has two "elements" (members) pre-loaded. You can of course build these groups using VBA. You might try to google it. Here is a starter.

Free trial for Visio 2013 Standard?
Hi,
Is it possible to download a free trial for Visio 2013 Standard version?
I can find the download option for the Visio 2013 Professional version, but as we are likely to need only the Standard version I want to download the trial for this to ensure that it covers all that we will need it for, which I can't check if the only version
available is the Professional trial?
