Cannot find serial number for elements 13 I bought at besbuy

I just bout the adobe photoshop elements 13 at best buy and its asking for a serial number during the installation process. Where do I find this and what is the difference between this and a redemption code?

    Trials do not have serial numbers, so if you have a serial number you oughta try it and see.  If you use a serial number on a trial version it will activate it to full version status.

    Where can I find it?  Is it in a file somewhere in my hard drive because I can't find it there either.  If anyone can help I would sure appreciate it!

    If you have no record of it at your end, the only place you might find it is at Adobe's end via logging into your Adobe account and seeing if it is listed there.  If you registered the software it should be.
    Beyond that your only hope might be to have Adobe support check your information to see if the software/serial number is available and if it can be given to you.  Try contacting them by chat or telephone.

    You likely have a redemption code on the box that you have to enter into an Adobe website to convert that into a serial number.
