Cannot find some fields from SAP interface (employee master data screen)

Dear All,
We are using SAP881 US localization. When I open OHEM table or form settings of list of employees, I can see some additional fields. E.g.
Health insurance code
Vacation: Current year
Those fields I cannot see it from the interface. Can anybody tell me how to key-in those kind of information? Thanks.

HI, you cannot hice many fields in SAP, since they all need for something.
try to explain this to your customer; furthermore many fields are filled form the master data so the users don't have do mind of them.
Anyway you can alter the screens using the transaction variants: go to IMG
Spro: SAPNetwaever->general settings->Field Display Characteristics->Configure Application Transaction Fields

It should be in the Videos App - if it's not in there then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Resttrictions that is hiding it ?

Upload fields from SAP R/3 to BW

Dear All,
I'm looking for a method to upload fields from SAP R/3 to BI 7.0.
My testing case as following:
- Upload table DFKKKO \ field OBEL from R/3 to BW
- I created a Generic Datasource and select this field.
- When coming back to BI, I replicate the metadata from SAP source system and can display my Generic Datasource.
- I create the Info Package for this Generic Datasource but when I run the scheduling, I didn't find any data in PSA table.
So this is my questions:
- Is this method (generic datasource) suitable for uploading from SAP R/3 to BI or there is anything else better?
- Why the data cannot uploaded to PSA table? (I got this error message from Monitor "EDI: Partner profile inbound not available" and "Some IDocs have error status" but don't know how to correct)
If there is any possible response, I shall give reward point.

I think you have missed the mapping part in BW....did you create the transformation in BW side before loading the date?You have to map the R/3 field to BW infoobject.

I cannot find some of my contacts on my contacts list.

I cannot find some of my contacts on my contacts list. When they call me or I send a text the name comes up but I can't search for them. Have checked all the options in 'groups' but still no joy.

When they send you a text scroll up to the "contact" button and click on it. From there you should be able to edit it, & now it will correctly show up.
If this doesn't work, try rebooting & if you still have any type of issues, just reset to factory setting. If you have all the options checked in groups but feel like there's still a better option than resetting it, try turning on your contacts in "icloud" and this may fix the issue.

Finding a field from CS11

My spec is to find a field Comp. Qty thats is displayed when you run CS11 for a material to display BOM. Pls help me out in finding that field from any table. Suggest me in solving this issue

Remove fields from OrgChart extended employee profile

Hello experts,
I would like to remove two fields from the Extended Employee Profile from all Herarchies: "Address" and "Place of birth".
I reviewed the Details Designer from the AdminConsole but I see they are part of a data sheet so I guess it is not as easy as untick them to be removed. Any guidelines where I can deleted them from the details panel?

Try ..\AppResources\detaildataconfiguration\SAPPositionIncumbentsInfoDetailsConfig_Data.xml - there is a fieldset called EmployeeDetailData that contains the fields.

You are technically way ahead of me, so I can't argue with what you did.
How about an even simpler WiFi network consisting of only the AirPort connected by an Ethernet cable to the printer? If the iPad still can't find the printer when connected to this network, then something is broken!
(Also try a different Ethernet cable.)

Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing issues with your iPhone in relation to music. Does the music that appeared on your device have a cloud symbol next to it when viewed in “Songs”? If so, it sounds like these songs are not yet downloaded to your phone. Instead, it sounds like you have the “Show All [Music]” setting enabled (by default in iOS 7):

Just show music that’s been downloaded from iCloud. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music.

Problem in Fetching value from Employee Master Date in Crystal Report

Hi All,
I am using the SAP Standard report for Sales Quotation and now my client needs a new requirement.
That is, for certain sales employee they need a manger and the manager name, email, mobile no from employee master data should be fetched.
I tried this way,
Assigned the Manager name in the OSLP, memo field and tried to equate the employee name in the OHEM table by using a parameter and tried to fetch the fields but i am not able to view any of the fields from the OHEM table.
How to fetch the fields from the OHEM table?
Help me solving this issue.

Please let me know if some one of you know about SAP Conversion Project. Below you have more description:
- testing of Interfaces from Legacy Systems
- testing of conversion programs used in the conversion or transposition of data from legacy systems
- data cleansing activities associated with conversion
- identify and populate various SAP environments with Master Data necessary for both conversion and interface testing
Any detail info in that and what kind of knowledge you need to have in some of project will be useful.

Labels reversed in french in Employee Master Data, fields Branch and Dept

There is an error in SAP B1 2007A translation from english to french.
In the Employee Master Data, in french, the labels Branch and Department are reversed. So our client has its Departments in OUBR and its Branches in OUDP.
Is there a way to make a correction to those labels without creating an add-on?

I've double-clicked on the labels and nothing happens. Is there a lock in the menu that has to be deactivated before we click on the labels in order to change the caption.
I'm in the Employee Master Data interface and the labels for the Dept and Branch are reversed in the french version.

Integrating SuccessFactors PMS solution With SAP HCM without saving any employee master data in SF

We’re implementing SuccessFactors’s Performance Management Solution only at one of the client location in Saudi Arabia and trying to integrate with the On-Premise SAP HCM and Push the employee data to SF.
However, due to security concerns customer doesn’t want to store any data on SucessFactors cloud solution to run the PMS cycle.
During the purchase of license for SuccessFactors SAP has demonstrated client that, in SF a unique Id will be created for each employee, which will not be the actual UserID(PERNR)from SAP, and with this unique ID actual employee data will be tagged/linked in SF which will fetch the data from SAP On-Premise system to run the PMS cycle. Once the user logins in SF, based on the unique ID data will fetch from SAP On-Premise system to SF on a real time basis and when the user logged out from the SF system, data should be cleared/deleted and nothing will be saved or stored in SF with respect to employee Master Data.
I understand SAP has provided the standard add-on for the Employee Data Scenario between SuccessFactors and SAP HCM, which could have been leveraged here for integration using PI, however with the above limitation this solution is absolutely out of scope.
Please advice, is there any solution where with PI if we can achieve the above requirement of client.
