Cannot find the file MsDtsSrvr.ini.xml
My SSIS 2008 book says that -
The MSDTSServer100 service is configured through an XML file that is located by default in the following path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn\MsDtsSrvr.ini.xml.
I cannot find this file in the given folder. But, I did find a MsDtsSrvrUtil.dll file which is of no use to me.
The book also says that if you cannot find the path, go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\100\SSIS\ServiceConfigFile registry key in the Registry. By default, the XML file should look like the following:
< ?xml version=”1.0” encoding=”utf-8” ? >
< DtsServiceConfiguration xmlns:xsd=”http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema”
xmlns:xsi=”http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance” >
< StopExecutingPackagesOnShutdown > true < /StopExecutingPackagesOnShutdown >
< TopLevelFolders >
< Folder xsi:type=”SqlServerFolder” >
< Name > MSDB < /Name >
< ServerName > . < /ServerName >
< /Folder >
< Folder xsi:type=”FileSystemFolder” >
< Name > File System < /Name >
< StorePath > ..\Packages < /StorePath >
< /Folder >
< /TopLevelFolders >
< /DtsServiceConfiguration >
But, I don't see this either inside regedit. All i see is a blank "thing" (photo attached). What is happening and how do I complete these steps ?
Hello,
Are you sure you have SSIS installed on your machine? Please check it with Windows Service Manager (services.msc) if you have an entry like "SQL Server Integration Services 10.0"
BTW, the blank "\SSIS\ServiceConfigFile" registry key exists also on machines, where only the client tools are installed, but not SSIS itself.

Thanks for your answer. This is very embarrassing, I did find the xml file there. But, what is the difference between SSIS and SSIS client tools ?

I got maven 221 installed
i got jdk 1.6 and 1.5 installed (have tested both)
I have a strange error. All my co-workers can build but I cant. The only thing I can find is that I dont have installed BEA Weblogic but I dont want to have that installed. It should be able to run anyway.
Could someone tell me what is wrong? If you need pom.xml I got that one as well.

[INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------from my experience, using weblogic jars can be a pain if the full install is not on the local box.
Note that you dont have to 'install' it. Just copy the directory.
Reason is that the jar files have manifests with relative classpaths.
For an example of horror take a look at the weblogic.jar MANIFEST's classpath entry.

MDT2012 - Deployment failed, the system cannot find the file specified
Hi everybody.
First, excuse me for my english, i think it's not the best thing I'm able to do, but now, I REALLY need help.
I encounter issues with my MDT 2012 Update 1 platform.
I have 5 systems to capture. All systems have 3 partitions (System, softwares, data). Capture is working fine for all parts.
In my Task Sequence, to deploy these images (C, D and E parts), I use a script after the "Install Operating System" which runs imagex to deploy the WIM images for D: and E:.
The script is the following :
"%DeployRoot%\Tools\x64\imagex" /apply "%DeployRoot%\Operating Systems\D_Drive\D_Drive.wim" 1 %DDrive%"
But, for some images, the task fails on the "D" drive deployement. The wizard shows the following error :
Litetouch deployment dailed, return code = -214767259 0x80004005
Failed to run the action: InstallD (ie : the script above)
The system cannot find the file specified. (Error: 00000002; Source: Windows)
The error is on my task which uses imagex to deploy my D and E WIM.
So I looked to see if the file's path was the good one.
And it is !!!
Wizard says that the file couldn't be find, but the file is existing, and in the good path.
For your information, there is no problem when I don't use multicast. Everything is working fine on unicast, not on multicast.
I even encounter this issue if I use my MDT server and my computers on the same switch.
Any help would be gratefull, my client gives me the week to resolve the issue.
ThanksBDD.LOG

Hi,
I'm trying to capture an image of computer that was already imaged using MDT 2013. I tried to install the new Windows Updates and add some files to the original image but each time I try to recapture the image I get this error: "ZTI Error Unhanded error
returned by LTISysprep: The system cannot find the file specified -2147024894 0x80070002"
I checked the Deployment Share and I do have LTISysprep.wsf in there.Well, it only runs LTISysprep when you tell it you want to capture an image (via the wizard, or through the equivalent set of CustomSettings.ini parameters).
The log you provided doesn't actually show it running LTISysprep. In fact, it specifically shows that you specified not to capture an image:
Property DoCapture is now = NO
Maybe you specified to join a domain (which isn't good for capturing an image) and it skipped the wizard pane about that?
Thanks,

Hi,
I want to obfuscate my jar file. for this purpose i followed the steps below.
1. Copied proguard.jar in C:\WTK2.5.2\bin
2. Now opened the file ktoolbar.vm , which is present in C:\WTK2.5.2\bin
my ktoolbar.vm looks like this
{color:#666699}C:\PROGRA~1\Java\JDK16~1.0_0\bin\java -Dkvem.home="%KVEM_HOME%" -Djava.library.path="%KVEM_HOME%/bin" -Dsun.java2d.ddlock=true -Dsun.java2d.gdiblit=false -cp "%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/kenv.zip";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/ktools.zip";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/JadTool.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/MEKeyTool.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/customjmf.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/lib/j2me-ws.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/lib/j2me-xmlrpc.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/schema2beansdev.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/j2me_sg_ri.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-impl.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-api.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-spi.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/activation.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/mail.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/saaj-api.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/saaj-impl.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/xsdlib.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/nist-sip-1.2.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/JainSipApi1.1.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/jain-sip-presence-proxy.jar" com.sun.kvem.toolbar.Main{color}
3. my project or my workspace is at location D:\workspace\WTK
4. Also my wtk is located at C:\WTK2.5.2
5 Now i renamed ktoolbar.vm to ktoolbar.bat and the edited the file then added 2 lines at the beginning of ktoolbar.bat
SET USER_HOME=D:\workspace\WTK
SET KVEM_HOME=C:\WTK2.5.2
6 Also i added -Duser.home=%USER_HOME% in the next line.
7 Now my ktoolbar.bat looks like this.
{color:#800080}SET USER_HOME=D:\workspace\WTK SET KVEM_HOME=C:\WTK2.5.2 C:\PROGRA~1\Java\JDK16~1.0_0\bin\java -Dkvem.home="%KVEM_HOME%" -Duser.home=%USER_HOME% -Djava.library.path="%KVEM_HOME%/bin" -Dsun.java2d.ddlock=true -Dsun.java2d.gdiblit=false -cp "%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/kenv.zip";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/ktools.zip";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/JadTool.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/MEKeyTool.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/customjmf.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/lib/j2me-ws.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/lib/j2me-xmlrpc.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/schema2beansdev.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/j2me_sg_ri.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-impl.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-api.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/jaxrpc-spi.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/activation.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/mail.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/saaj-api.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/saaj-impl.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/bin/xsdlib.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/nist-sip-1.2.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/JainSipApi1.1.jar";"%KVEM_HOME%/wtklib/jain-sip-presence-proxy.jar" com.sun.kvem.toolbar.Main{color}
8 Now i opened the command promt and i executed the bat file.
9 Now when i try to open the WTK toolkit it gives me the following error
Fatal error : File: C:\WTK.2.5.2\bin\ktoolbar.vm does not exist
Please help me to resolve this issue or suggest me some different way.
Also i would like to tell that my project is completely build using netbeans 6.5 . but when i try to make the obfuscation level high using the scroll that is provided by netbeans , it gives me following error.
{color:#ff0000}C:\Documents and Settings\SShete\My Documents\NetBeansProjects\vtms_test_lwuit_Backup\nbproject\build-impl.xml:459: Error while expanding C:\Documents and Settings\SShete\My Documents\NetBeansProjects\vtms_test_lwuit_Backup\build\obfuscated.jar
java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Documents and Settings\SShete\My Documents\NetBeansProjects\vtms_test_lwuit_Backup\build\obfuscated.jar (The system cannot find the file specified)
BUILD FAILED (total time: 8 seconds){color}
Also i dont know what changes are to be done to the build.xml so that obfuscation can be done .
Thats the reason why i am now opening the same project using wtk and trying to obfuscate it.hi....
i have tried another way out ,
i followed the procedure below
In order to integrate this plug-in in the toolkit, you'll have to put the following lines in the file {j2mewtk.dir}/wtklib/Linux/ktools.properties or {j2mewtk.dir}\wtklib\Windows\ktools.properties (whichever is applicable).
obfuscator.runner.class.name: proguard.wtk.ProGuardObfuscator
obfuscator.runner.classpath: /usr/local/java/proguard/lib/proguard.jar
Please make sure the class path is set correctly for your system.
Once ProGuard has been set up, you can apply it to your projects as part of the build process. The build process is started from the WTK menu bar:
Project -> Package -> Create Obfuscated Package
The Toolkit obfuscates other sample projects
However now my project gets build without errors , but when i try to create a obfuscated package it gives me the following error
Error preverifying class bc
VERIFIER ERROR bc.a(Z)Lhx;:
Incompatible object argument for invokespecial
com.sun.kvem.ktools.ExecutionException: Preverifier returned 1

Bitlocker "The system cannot find the file specified"
I am trying to get Bitlocker working on the C: drive of a Dell Venue 11 (5130) 32bit, running Windows 8.1Update Enterprise. I click Turn on BitLocker and the system checks the perrequisites and is happy. Then I type in a PIN (6 numbers) and confirm it and
hit Set PIN. At this point it fails with a message saying "The system cannot find the file specified".
I am an Admin on the machine. TPM is working fine. GPO is not setting either BitLocker or TPM to store on the AD DS. Secure Boot is turned on in BIOS. Plus I've tried the reverse of all of these.
I've spent hours reading through web articles without any joy, so I'm hoping someone can give me a pointer. Please.Hi guys,
Almost have the same problem, and still not able to solve it now [despite lots of search].
I used to have BitLocker working on my laptop, but I removed it before cloning [with Paragon] my SSD to a new and bigger one. When I replaced the SSD the system did not boot, and I had to create a new BCD store by copying UEFI boot files from the system
directory on fix the UEFI boot partition. When the boot problem was fixed, I used gParted to extend my C: partition and delete useless recovery partitons at the end of the drive. So actual partitioning is as follow [as per Diskpart]:
Partition ### Type Size Offset
Partition 1 Recovery 500 MB 1024 KB
Partition 2 System 300 MB 501 MB
Partition 3 Reserved 128 MB 801 MB
Partition 4 Primary 930 GB 929 MB
So I guess I made something wrong when I tried to repair the UEFI boot partition... Well, now it boots correctly, but I can't enable BitLocker anymore and get the not-so-explicit "The system cannot find the file specified" error you had. Here is
what I get with a "bcdedit.exe /enum ALL":

I also enabled Fast Bios and ACHI Mode in my BIOS [along with enabling Secure Boot on UEFI mode], as well as tried to clear TPM and reinitialize it, but that didn't change anything. And thanks to your posts I had a look to C:\Windows\System32\Recovery\ReAgent.xml

Hi,
I am facing an issue when I deploy the application to Azure. Not sure what's causing the issue, It runs fine when debugged locally.
XmlSerializer s = new XmlSerializer(typeof(List<SomeClass>));
Below exception is thrown :
Could not load file or assembly 'mscorlib.XmlSerializers, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
System.IO.FileNotFoundException
I have set to "CopyToLocal = True" for System.Xml dll in the references, this does not fix the issue. The application and all its required projects are running under .NET 4.5.
Anybody faced this issue earlier ? Appreciate any help.
Thanks.I'm guessing now. but:
The system might be generating a serializer for the whole of mscorlib, which could be very slow.
You could probably avoid this by wrapping the system type in your own type and serialising that instead - then you'd get a serializer for your own assembly.
You might be able to build the serializer for mscorlib with sgen.exe, which was the old way of building serializer dlls before it got integrated into VS.

I put in my memory card to the left side of the computer, but I cannot find the file of pictures anywhere. Its not even on my desktop. What should I do and how can I get it to show up on my desktop?
If your Mac is new-ish and has one of the Lions as its OS, the drives, cards, USB sticks no longer show up, even though they're there. Go to Finder's Preferences and tick the corresponding items in the General and Sidebar tabs.

CA Forum: Crystal Reports
Hi,
I am currently developing an ASP.NET website using Visual Studio.NET 2005. I am using the .NET 2.0 framework, VB.NET as my programming language and I connect successfully to a SQL Server 2005 database. I can select, insert, update and delete data from the database elsewhere in my project, so I know basic connectivity isn't an issue. The problem seems to be with Crystal Reports.
I created a folder called 'Reports' in my project and added a Crystal Report file (OpenFiles.rpt) to it. I designed the report and initally used a hard-coded SQL query as its datasource so I could quickly get the database fields onto the report and preview them. All worked fine.
To make the report accessible to the rest of the website, I created an .xsd dataset file containing the three tables (and their corresponding tableadapters) that the report requires and then redeveloped the report using the dataset as the datasource for the report. After doing this, the preview no longer worked.
Next, I added a page to the website and dragged a Crystal Report Viewer Control onto it. In the code behind the page I wrote:
Option Strict On
Imports System.Data
Imports CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine
Imports CrystalDecisions.Shared
Partial Class Reports
Inherits System.Web.UI.Page
Private objOpenFilesreport As OpenFilesReport
Private rptOpenFiles As ReportDocument

Dim reportPath As String = Server.MapPath("OpenFiles.rpt")
Dim rptopenfiles As New ReportDocument
rptOpenFiles.Load(reportPath) <== I checked this during execution and the value correctly points to the OpenFiles.rpt file in the Reports folder of my project
Dim ConnectionInfo As ConnectionInfo = New ConnectionInfo()
ConnectionInfo.DatabaseName = my database
ConnectionInfo.UserID = login id of user
ConnectionInfo.Password = user's password
SetDBLogonForReport(ConnectionInfo, rptopenfiles)
CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = rptopenfiles
End Sub

Dim myTableLogonInfo As TableLogOnInfo = myTable.LogOnInfo
myTableLogonInfo.ConnectionInfo = ConnectionInfo
myTable.ApplyLogOnInfo(myTableLogonInfo)
Next
End Sub
End Class
I added a hyperlink to one of the existing pages on the website to navigate to this page with the report viewer on it. When I run the website in Visual Studio and click on the hyperlink I get the following:

Any ideas, anyone?
Also, assuming I can get past this error, I will need to figure out how to fill the tables in the .xsd dataset file. I have written a class for the dataset that includes functions that populate the tables in the dataset from the database by executing SQL queries. But how do I call these functions at the time the report is run?
This is my first Crystal report written in .NET and I've been struggling with it for days now. Any help would be most appreciated!
Thanks very much!
Chris Severinhello, the error message is obviously coming from one of the installed mcafee extensions. please directly contact mcafee technical support - they can likely give you more detailed guidance and are the only ones who can fix bugs or make necessary adjustments in the addon.

App-v 4.6: cannot find the file specified
Hi,
Please see my previous
post.
In short: an application needs Internet Explorer activex, then a plugin for Excel. My App-v package is working (Internet Explorer opening), but the Excel plugin does not work. It says "cannot find the file specified".
I copied the excel shortcut from start menu to q:\packagename.
Please advise.
J.
Jan Hoedt
In .osd file of Excel plugin, there is the following:
<CODEBASE HREF="RTSP://%SFT_SOFTGRIDSERVER%:554/WindowsX64/Application/1.0/excelplugin.sft" GUID="9FA88591-089E-4E57-89D5-C23239E83238" PARAMETERS="" FILENAME="%CSIDL_PROGRAM_FILES%\Microsoft Office\Office12\EXCEL.EXE"
SYSGUARDFILE="applic.001\osguard.cp" SIZE="305879730"/>
<WORKINGDIR>%CSIDL_PROGRAM_FILES%\Microsoft Office\Office12</WORKINGDIR>
The CSIDL_PROGRAM_FILES%, is that correct? If not, can I change it and how? Should I then reimport the package?
I might have found a solution but please advise:
http://blog.gridmetric.com/2011/09/26/possible-caveats-in-mixing-32-bit-and-64-bit-app-v-packages-and-environments/
Office is x86, so I probably should change the %CSIDL_Programfiles% to %programfiles(x86)%?Changing CSIDL_PROGRAM_FILES to %programfiles(x86)% is worth a try.
A common reason for that 'cannot find the file..' error message also often can be resolved by removing the Workingdir entry (<WORKINGDIR></WORKINGDIR> or just <WORKINGDIR/>.
The way to apply the change depends on your deployment scenario. With an App-V Management Server (and for a test packae) you could modify (a copy of) the original .OSD file in the content share. Make sure you save with 'save as' and then 'Unicode'. Then
re-initiate a Server Refresh from the client, that should download the new OSD.
You also could - if it is permitted - create a copy of the client-local copy of the OSD file (you can figure that out with the Client Management Console). Double-Clicking that modified copy could do the trick.
If you use another deployment method (SCCM, MSI) you would need to moify the OSD file using the App-V Sequencer.
Whatever method you use during troubleshooting: For the 'final' pacage you should open the original package on the Sequencer ('Edit'), make the changes there and re-save + re-deploy the package. This makes sure that all information is consitent across the
various App-V files

got a new wireless connection for my mac and cannot figure out how to delete the last connection service I had. Everytime I shut the computer, the network goes back to the other one. I cannot find the file ANYWHERE
Under Network Preferences, select the WiFi
click on "Advanced..." button
Select the network you want to delete from the list and click on "-"
Click "Ok"
Click "Apply"
Well done ;-)
You may also want to delete the wireless key from Keychain.
Open Keychain, seach for the old wifi network name, slect it and click delete -
I started getting this error message for the first time today. When I look in the event log I see it every time anyone tries to sync to a mobile device to the exchange server. I've also had this problem trying to connect using
Outlook. I believe it is an IIS issue but I'm not absolutely sure so I'm posting this in the Exchange forum as well.
The event viewer has the following information...

I have tried most, if not all, of the different post's suggestions to no avail.
The steps I have taken are as follows...
1. Repaired .Net 4 (Both the client and extended)
2. Uninstalled and reinstalled .Net Framework 4.0.
3. Verified that the dll exists.
4. Checked the applicationHost.config file. It contains the follow statement...
<add name="ServiceModel-4.0" type="System.ServiceModel.Activation.ServiceHttpModule, System.ServiceModel.Activation, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" preCondition="managedHandler,runtimeVersionv2.0"
/>
5. Changed the following line in web.config to include the runtimeVersion...
<add name="ServiceModel" type="System.ServiceModel.Activation.HttpModule, System.ServiceModel.Activation, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" preCondition="managedHandler,runtimeVersionv2.0" />
6. Executed aspnet_regiis.exe -iru from the ...\Framework64\v4.0.30319 directory.
7. Went to inetpub\history to use an applicationHost.config file from yesterday but it only has history from 9PM tonight. It probably had what I needed before I started changing it tonight.
I still receive the same error message.
Like I said everything was working yesterday. In fact I didn't hear or see any issue until after 1PM today.
Any help would be very appreciated!Hi,
Please confirm whether users can access their mailboxes from Outlook Web Access or not. We can do the following changes to have a try:
1. In IIS > Application Pools, change the .NET Framework Version to v2.0 and restart IIS service.
2. If it doesn’t work, explore the Default Web site.
3. Renamed the web.config file to web.config.old
4. Reset IIS using iisreset command to have a try.
Thanks,
Winnie Liang

Hello,
I am creating an app using NAPA tool in Office 365. I am trying to "Add an attachment" to a custom list item using SPServices. When I am using my code (jquery code) in content editor web part on a page, its working fine, but when I am adding
the same code in an app, its giving me error : "The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT:
0x80070002)" - 500 Internal Server error.
(function () {
// This code runs when the DOM is ready and creates a context object which is
// needed to use the SharePoint object model
$(document).ready(function () {
//alert('In doc ready');
$('.attachmentButton').change(function(event){
var listName = 'UploadTest',
itemId = 2;
handleFileChange(listName,itemId,event.target.files);
function handleFileChange(listName,itemId,files){
alert('In handleFileChange :=' + listName + "" + itemId + "" + files[0]);
alert('files.length :=' + files.length);
var filereader = {},
file = {},

file = files[i];

filereader.onload = function() {
var data = this.result;
var n=data.indexOf(";base64,") + 8;
//alert('n :=' + n);
//removing the first part of the dataurl give us the base64 bytes we need to feed to sharepoint
data= data.substring(n);
//alert('data :=' + data);
alert('Above SPServices this.filename :=' + this.filename);
$().SPServices({
operation: "AddAttachment",
listName: listName,
asynch: false,
listItemID:itemId,
fileName: this.filename,
attachment: data,
completefunc: function (xData, Status) {
console.log('attachment upload complete',xData,status);
alert('Status :=' + Status);
if (Status.toLowerCase() == "error"){
alert(xData.responseText);
alert(xData.status);
alert(xData.statusText);
filereader.onabort = function() {
alert("The upload was aborted.");
filereader.onerror = function() {
alert("An error occured while reading the file.");
//fire the onload function giving it the dataurl
filereader.readAsDataURL(file);
alert(xData.responseText); - gives error - " "The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)""
alert(xData.status); - gives error - "500"
alert(xData.statusText); - gives error - "Internal server error"
Server Publishing infrastructure and Server publishing features are activated on site collection and site respectively.
Any suggestions, why I am getting this error in NAPA ?Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about adding attachments to list items in app.
To add attachment to list item in the host web, we should first get the list and the list items from the host web, then add the attachments to the list items.
There are two articles about retrieve the list and list items in the host web, you can refer to them.
http://www.dotnetcurry.com/showarticle.aspx?ID=1028
http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadFile/93cb27/retrieve-sharepoint-app-host-web-list-items-in-sharepoint-ho/
What’s more, we can also use the REST API to achieve the same scenario.
