Cannot find the object "ApShellExtra.dbo.AuditActivityHdrApShell"

After installing BPC 7.5 MS SP06 processing the Planning application in ApShell throws the following error:
Cannot find the object "ApShellExtra.dbo.AuditActivityHdrApShell"
Looking in ApShellExtra the table doesn't exist. It seems like about 75% of the audit tables are missing. Any ideas how to get these tables to appear?

It seems security related. My normal process for an install is to open Administration and modify security so the BPCSysAdmin account has access to everything and the System Admin Task Profile is setup. From there I tried processing an application and received the error. After restarting Administration more admin options were available and more auditing tables were available.

  • Unable to delete User object in FIM Portal - Cannot find the object "#calculateRequestSetTransitionsAssembleStatementsPartition"

    Hi,
    ***Problem
I encounter a problem with FIM (version 4.1.3441.0 and 4.1.3496.0) when I try to delete a User object (and only a User object) whatever if it is

Deleting a User object used to be perfectly functional and, without any product version modification, stopped working. I haven't neither deleted/modified or add a
"Grant" MPR or any of the corresponding Sets since last time I saw it working.
Displayed error is "Request could not be dispatched" in FIM Portal and is referencing a stored procedure in Event Viewer.
    ***Error details
When I try to delete a User object, here is the output :

Request status is stuck at "Validating" until next restart of FIM Service (after what it becomes “Canceled”)
Request’s “Applied Policy” tab does not contain any MPR where, at least, a “Grant” MPR is expected
As SQL Timeout is relatively high and error happens quickly, I don’t think there is a Timeout problem under that.

While there are several SQL Agent jobs (FIM Temporal Events, Maintain Sets, and Maintain Groups among others)created by the FIM install only one of those is enabled and scheduled and it calls all of the same stored procedures that the other
jobs do. Step 2 is Maintain sets and Step 3 is maintain groups. So the Maintain sets and groups jobs never need to get enabled and scheduled, but if you want them to be maintained more frequently then you can.

  • Cannot find the object % because it does not exist or you do not have permissions

I'm executing a SQL 2008 sproc from an Access Data Project, using ADO. The sproc truncates and then fills a table in the SQL database, which is then used as the recordsource in an Access report.
This works fine for all users except one. I assumed it was a problem with that user's privileges, but when I connected to the database thru SSMS using his login, I was able to excecute the sproc successfully. I even explicitly granted that SELECT, UPDATE
and DELETE to that user but it stills throws the error when executed from Access.
    Any suggestions?

TRUNCATE TABLE requires ALTER permission on the table. You could say that TRUNCATE TABLE is half of DROP TABLE. The pages are deallocated, but the metadata is retained.
Rather that granting users extra rights, a better solution is to sign the procedure with a certificate, create a user from the certificate grant that user ALTER on table. In this way, you package the permission with the procedure. (The user for the certificate
is special kind of user that cannot log in.)
I have a longer article on my web site that describes this technique in detail:

    Hi,
I'm trying to install Database Instance as a 2nd part of distributed SAP system. There was already MS SQL 2008 STD installed, I installed another MS SQL 2008 STD instance manually (as described in PI installation guide) from original MS SQL 2008 STD DVD, not one provided by SAP. The database is created by SAPinst, and we have a crash at the beginning of ABAP import phase:

I thought I can run development SAP system on Standard Edition. Am I right and this is just permission problem? How to troubleshoot that?

Does anyone know is this type of installation (not SAP's MSSQL media, STD Edition for dev/qas system, MS SQL instance for SAP with another MS SQL instances on the same server) is supported?
    Thanks again,

I am looking at an issue with users not getting specific group policies.
After searching a number of client computers I found that the following error
The user '*' preference item in the 'User - 6th Form Students Policy {E03166E7-A848-48B5-AA93-97B848AA9C13}' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80070003 The system cannot find the path specified.' This error was suppressed.
I can find the folder in the Sysvol folder on all of the domain controllers.
The issue with end users seems to be that the proxy settings for internet explorer is not being applied.

We have a policy that distributes proxy settings in the internet explorer maintenance settings section - however when opening this policy up in GPO editor the internet explorer maintenance section is not present.
I plan to apply the settings via User/preferences/control panel settings/ internet settings (or registry settings from article) however I am unable to edit the settings for internet explorer maintenance and these will persist. Ideas????

    Hi,
I am trying to install OAM , I am getting the following error when i am configuring the Identity server for the first time.
    1) I have installed OID. I am using one OID for both config and user data.
    2) I have installed Identity server and have modified the OID schema automically during installation.
    3) I have installed web pass.
I have gone to the url: http://trn-ps-oid.oracle.com:7777/identity/oblix
Here i gone to Identity System Console to configure Identity server.
Following are the config data i have given
    Configuration DN : dc=mydomain,dc=com
    Search Base : dc=mydomain,dc=com
    Host : mypc.mydomain.com

    Hi,
We had a complex map. Because of some requirement, we used custom xslt on this map. Somehow at runtime that custom xslt is giving below error:
Cannot find the script or external object that implements prefix 'ScriptNS0'.
I checked below links, it seems this is a bug in Biztalk 2010/Visual stuio 2010.

The above link suggest to add a xml element in the .btm file. I tried that as well but no luck. Can anyone suggest me reason and solution for this?
    Thanks, Girish R. Patil.

When using the Custom XSLT option, you have to maintain the Extension Xml yourself, just as you would for inline custom Xslt that calls external Assemblies.

  • Cannot find the field for the Contact Role in Contact object.

    Hi, friends,
I need to set Contact Role when creating new Account and Contact. I tried the following tests but cannot figure it out:
    1. Create new Account and then new Contact, set the AccountContactRole in Account WSDL as “Main” but failed to set that field in form
    2. Create new Account and then new Contact, set the ContactRole in Contact WSDL as "Main” but failed to set that field in form
    3. Create new Contact and then new Account, set those two fields, but failed to set that field in form
So far I know, the Account Contact Role is kind of picklist type in Account Contact Field. I could find its customization in Admin-> Application Customization -> Account -> Account Contact Fields -> Contact Roles. However, I cannot find the exact item in WSDL file to map this item. The AccountContactRole in Account WSDL and ContactRole in Contact WSDL are suspicious.
It will be appreciated if anyone could help me on this issue.
    Thank you very much

Hi, Sean, I tried the Web Service 1.0 call to create a new Contact and then a new Account with created Contact ID. But the CRMOD return the "Access Deny" fault. Is there somewhere I could see or change this kind of access rights? Or some bug in my web service call?
I am sorry I did not open a new topic thread as I think they are related and easy for reference. Thank you very much.

    CA Forum: Crystal Reports
    Hi,
I am currently developing an ASP.NET website using Visual Studio.NET 2005. I am using the .NET 2.0 framework, VB.NET as my programming language and I connect successfully to a SQL Server 2005 database.  I can select, insert, update and delete data from the database elsewhere in my project, so I know basic connectivity isn't an issue.  The problem seems to be with Crystal Reports.
I created a folder called 'Reports' in my project and added a Crystal Report file (OpenFiles.rpt) to it.  I designed the report and initally used a hard-coded SQL query as its datasource so I could quickly get the database fields onto the report and preview them.  All worked fine.
To make the report accessible to the rest of the website, I created an .xsd dataset file containing the three tables (and their corresponding tableadapters) that the report requires and then redeveloped the report using the dataset as the datasource for the report.  After doing this, the preview no longer worked.
Next, I added a page to the website and dragged a Crystal Report Viewer Control onto it.  In the code behind the page I wrote:
    Option Strict On
    Imports System.Data
    Imports CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine
    Imports CrystalDecisions.Shared
    Partial Class Reports
         Inherits System.Web.UI.Page

Dim reportPath As String = Server.MapPath("OpenFiles.rpt")
              Dim rptopenfiles As New ReportDocument
rptOpenFiles.Load(reportPath)  <== I checked this during execution and the value correctly points to the OpenFiles.rpt file in the Reports     folder of my project
Dim ConnectionInfo As ConnectionInfo = New ConnectionInfo()
              ConnectionInfo.DatabaseName = my database
ConnectionInfo.UserID = login id of user
              ConnectionInfo.Password = user's password
              SetDBLogonForReport(ConnectionInfo, rptopenfiles)
              CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = rptopenfiles
         End Sub
Protected Sub Page_Init(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Init
             ConfigureCrystalReports()
         End Sub
Private Sub SetDBLogonForReport(ByVal ConnectionInfo As ConnectionInfo, ByVal myReportDocument As ReportDocument)
Dim myTables As Tables = myReportDocument.Database.Tables
For Each myTable As CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.Table In myTables
Dim myTableLogonInfo As TableLogOnInfo = myTable.LogOnInfo
                   myTableLogonInfo.ConnectionInfo = ConnectionInfo
                   myTable.ApplyLogOnInfo(myTableLogonInfo)
              Next
         End Sub
    End Class
I added a hyperlink to one of the existing pages on the website to navigate to this page with the report viewer on it.  When I run the website in Visual Studio and click on the hyperlink I get the following:

    Any ideas, anyone?
Also, assuming I can get past this error, I will need to figure out how to fill the tables in the .xsd dataset file.  I have written a class for the dataset that includes functions that populate the tables in the dataset from the database by executing SQL queries.  But how do I call these functions at the time the report is run?
This is my first Crystal report written in .NET and I've been struggling with it for days now.  Any help would be most appreciated!
    Thanks very much!

    Hello,
I am creating an app using NAPA tool in Office 365. I am trying to "Add an attachment" to a custom list item using SPServices. When I am using my code  (jquery code) in content editor web part on a page, its working fine, but when I am adding
the same code in an app, its giving me error :  "The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT:

Any suggestions, why I am getting this error in NAPA ?

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about adding attachments to list items in app.
To add attachment to list item in the host web, we should first get the list and the list items from the host web, then add the attachments to the list items.
There are two articles about retrieve the list and list items in the host web, you can refer to them.
    http://www.dotnetcurry.com/showarticle.aspx?ID=1028
    http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadFile/93cb27/retrieve-sharepoint-app-host-web-list-items-in-sharepoint-ho/
What’s more, we can also use the REST API to achieve the same scenario.

We have Windows 2012 Server hosting 2 VMs - Domain Controller & RDS.  We have been doing Windows Server Backup incremental and have an ongoing issue with scheduled backups each night.  The backup shows completed with warnings and generates

We had been getting a successful backup once or twice a week which showed completed (with no mentioned of warnings) but now it regularly shows completed with warnings as noted above.
We did a manual full backup of the DC to a different external drive a few days ago and that completed without warnings and the backup shows:  E: Completed 63.38 Full - VSS Copy Backup Successful, 8/27/13 3:35 PM - 4:43 PM. Data Transferred 63.38
On a side note, we can view the logs in the windows/logs/windowsserverbackup directory but when we attempt to view the details of a log file through the Local Backup Console for any log which shows completed with errors, we get a "MMC has detected an
error in the snapin and will unload and then it shows Object referenced not set to instance of an object."  The manual backup noted above that was successful is able to be viewed through the Local Backup Console without this error.
Any idea as to why this is failing during the scheduled backups?  This hosts a database that we need to have regular successful backups.

    Hi,
First please follow the steps below to re-register dll files. Detailed information could be found here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/940032:
    1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK.
    2. Type the following commands at a command prompt. Press ENTER after you type each command.
    3. cd /d %windir%\system32
    4. Net stop vss
    5. Net stop swprv
    6. regsvr32 ole32.dll
    7. regsvr32 oleaut32.dll
    8. regsvr32 vss_ps.dll
    9. vssvc /register
    10. regsvr32 /i swprv.dll
    11. regsvr32 /i eventcls.dll
    12. regsvr32 es.dll
    13. regsvr32 stdprov.dll
    14. regsvr32 vssui.dll
    15. regsvr32 msxml.dll
    16. regsvr32 msxml3.dll
    17. regsvr32 msxml4.dll
Please let us know if any command failed to be performed with an error.
If issue still exists, have a try with the step it provided "VSSADMIN Resize ShadowStorage" to enlarge the shadow storage.
Also you could test to delete all old Shadow Copies by acccessing <Drive> Properties --> Shaodow Copies --> Delete Now. This will remove all your backup information so if it is not acceptable, just skip this step.

Right - File is smart. Otherwise, you'd have to build
platform-specific paths by hand, using file.seperator,
to keep your code multi-platform. Ew.
